The temperature in the space was constant, around the most comfortable 20 degrees Celsius for the human body, so even though Tangtang slept on the floor of the warehouse, as long as she was covered and padded with beast skins, it wasn’t cold at all.

In addition, when Pan Lin initially decided to take her with him, he not only brought firewood, cooking platform, food staples, vegetables, fruits, fresh at but also a lot of seafood, various pickled vegetables, sauces, and seasonings.

Of course, they had plenty of food stored up, so even if she took these, there would still be enough for his entire family to get through the next year without any issues.

This was also the reason she dared to boldly leave them behind; to say she didn’t care would be lying, especially when Pan Lin lay bloodied in front of her, her conscience was filled with nothing but guilt.

She always used to be afraid of him, but when he stood in front of her like a wall, she understood what real responsibility ant.

By comparison, Beining was simply trash of the trash.

If possible, she never wanted to see that person again in her lifeti.

For the first few days, Tangtang didn’t dare to light a fire, as burning firewood in the space would not only create swirling smoke and be suffocating but also easily attract the attention of others.

So, she relied on the stead buns placed inside initially, as well as fruits, salted vegetables, and transford eggs, and cured sausages to get by.

It wasn’t until there was no sign of tribes nearby that she dared to set up her wooden hut, lay a sheet of iron on the floor inside, and start a fire on it to cook, at least the hut was enclosed with a door on one side, which made it much warr.

She couldn’t rember how many days it had been since she last ate hotpot, but Tangtang took butter, coriander, scallion, ginger, garlic, chili, Sichuan pepper, and other seasonings to make a base, and then put seafood into the pot. Items like abalone, shellfish, snails, sea shrimp, and crabs were enough for three to four people, so she cooked a bit more at once. While the seafood was boiling to make the base, she kneaded so buckwheat flour, adding salt to the dough to increase its elasticity.

The dough was quite stiff because even if you made it softer on this day, it would still freeze, so she directly made it harder and decided to make planed noodles later.

After the seafood was nearly cooked, she started to add washed vegetables, both wild and hogrown cabbage, and various green leafy vegetables. When it was ti to wake the dough, she took out her small bowl and could start eating, as there were many shells, she began with those, clearing up space in the pot in the process.

Indeed, the spicy hotpot was exhilarating to eat in this icy and snowy environnt, and she could be fully satisfied eating just the seafood without any staple food.

Cracking open a large crab unveiled a heap of crab eggs, tantalizing to the eye. There were also jumbo sea shrimp that turned red with just a light boil after de-veining, not to ntion the large Green Shrimp, which were incredibly satisfying to eat, and the big abalones, sea cucumbers, and even the flesh of sea snails and sea clams were thoroughly enjoyable.

After finishing all the shelled ats, the pot made room for more, and she took out the dough to start planing noodles directly into the pot, just enough for what she needed. A few swirls with the chopsticks, and they were done.

After eating the vegetables and noodles, she seed to feel much more relaxed.

The remaining broth was especially rich, enough for her to have another al of spicy noodles.

So she took the cooking platform and went straight into the space.

After cleaning up the scene, she filled a water tank with plenty of snow, using this thod to store water in the absence of a water source.

Then she used an ax to chop so branches and collected them into the space, later when the dry firewood was burning, she would add wet wood on top. This way, once the wood below burned out, the wood above would dry out and could continue to burn, saving space’s dry firewood.

After everything was arranged, she retracted the wooden hut back into the space and then transford into a Purple Mink, moving forward in the snow while digesting her al.

Just then, a cry from a Golden Eagle in the sky brought her to an abrupt halt. She looked up to see a huge eagle diving down towards her.

Tangtang moved backward defensively, thinking about diving into a snow hole as she had done before, when suddenly the Golden Eagle let out an urgent cry, like it was trying to speak to her.

Tangtang hesitated, could it be... Jin Han?

But what if it wasn’t?

During her mont of uncertainty, the Golden Eagle didn’t wait to land but transford into a human shape and lunged straight towards her direction.

Upon seeing the man in human form, Tangtang’s eyes instantly filled with tears, who else could it be if not Jin Han?
