The gravel crunched beneath the tires as Alex pulled into the circular driveway of Villa 3.

He killed the engine and sat for a mont, taking in the three-story estate that had beco ho to Viktor’s team.

The place looked lived-in now. Not just occupied, but claid. Security caras tracked his approach with professional precision. The gardens were ticulously maintained. Lights glowed warmly through the windows, suggesting activity inside.

It hadn’t been that long ago... weeks, really... that these sa n had been desperate, hunted fugitives watching their commander die by inches. Alex rembered the hospital room, the hollow eyes, the barely-controlled panic radiating from every one of them.

They’d been dangerous then too, but in the way cornered animals are dangerous... unpredictable, liable to lash out at anything that looked like a threat.

He’d been one wrong word away from becoming that threat.

Now?

Now they were his. His people. His family.

And he was about to make them even stronger.

He stepped out of the car, adjusting his jacket as the morning sun ward his shoulders.

The front door opened before he reached it.

Dimitri stood in the doorway, his massive fra filling the entrance. His expression was warm, welcoming... the look of a man who’d finally found solid ground beneath his feet.

"Mr. Hale," Dimitri said, his deep voice carrying genuine warmth. "Welco."

Alex nodded once. "Good to see you, Dimitri."

Dimitri stepped aside, holding the door open with practiced ease. "Please. Everyone is waiting for you inside."

Alex nodded, stepping inside. "Gather them in the eting room. I have sothing to discuss with everyone."

Dimitri’s eyebrows rose slightly — curiosity, not concern. "Of course. I’ll bring them up."

"Thanks."

Alex made his way through the familiar hallways to the eting room... the sa spacious hall where they’d first gathered after Viktor’s recovery. Sunlight stread through tall windows, painting the polished floors in warm gold.

He settled into one of the leather chairs, his mind already running through how to present this.

"Lilith," he called ntally. "Show my current CP balance."

The interface materialized instantly, translucent text hovering at the edge of his vision:

[CURRENT CP BALANCE: 18,000]

Alex’s lips curved into a satisfied smile.

Eighteen thousand.

Not bad at all. The recent missions had been generous.

But even as satisfaction settled in his chest, reality tempered it imdiately.

This much is not enough.

Not for what he was building. Not for the scale of investnt his growing empire would require.

The Elixir of Absolute Restoration alone cost 2,500 CP after the discount... and that was just for reaching Early Apex. Beyond that, who knew how many Conquest Points would be needed for higher-tier resources, for pushing past bottlenecks, for the kind of transformation that turned good assets into exceptional ones.

And except for Viktor, the others still hadn’t even reached Peak Enhanced stage yet.

He needed to be strategic.

"Lilith," Alex said, his ntal tone shifting to business. "What would you suggest I purchase for them?"

There was a pause... brief, but deliberate.

When Lilith responded, her voice carried that familiar mix of instruction and subtle approval.

"Let’s think about this properly, darling."

The interface shifted, new text appearing:

[SUBORDINATE ANALYSIS]

Current Status:

• Viktor Reeves: Apex Realm (Early) - No imdiate advancent needed

• Damien Cross: Enhanced (Middle) - Bottlenecked by impurities

• Dimitri Volkov: Enhanced (Early) - Foundation issues

• Andre Petrov: Enhanced (Early) - Foundation issues

• Pavel Sokolov: Enhanced (Early) - Foundation issues

"Viktor doesn’t need your help right now," Lilith explained. "He’s Apex Realm already, and pushing him higher would require resources far beyond your current budget. Forget him for now."

"The other four, however..." Her voice took on a more thoughtful edge. "They’re all stuck. Not because they lack talent or dedication, but because they’ve been cultivating with imperfect resources for years. Every resource they’ve used has left microscopic impurities in their systems."

Alex absorbed this, understanding clicking into place.

"Like Catherine before I gave her the Elixir."

"Exactly," Lilith confird. "And those impurities beco shackles. Invisible ceilings they’ll never break through without intervention."

Alex processed this, his tactical mind already working through solutions.

"But the Elixir of Absolute Restoration will take care of that, won’t it? Our imdiate need isn’t purification. It’s advancent."

"Precisely," Lilith said. "Get them to Peak Enhanced, establish solid foundations, THEN use the Elixir for complete transformation. Trying to skip steps is how cultivators cripple themselves."

She paused, and Alex could almost sense her satisfaction at his understanding.

"And for that imdiate need," she continued, "here is the best product for you."

The interface shifted:

[FOUNDATION ENHANCENT PILL]

Base Cost: 100 CP per pill

Subordinate Discount (75% off): 25 CP per pill

Function:

- Accelerates cultivation progress

- Increases physical strength and stamina

- Enhances energy circulation efficiency

- Strengthens ridian pathways

- Purges minor impurities accumulated during training

Alex stared at the crimson pill displayed on the interface, his eyes locked on the detailed breakdown beneath it.

The numbers. The tiline. The cost.

All of it crystallizing into sothing almost too good to be real.

Seeing him frozen on the screen, Lilith’s voice drifted through his thoughts, amused and knowing.

"And they’ll only need a month at maximum to reach Peak Enhanced Realm."

Only a month.

And it would only cost him 1,000 CP. A fraction of what the Elixir would require, leaving him with a massive reserve for other investnts.

"This is... efficient," Alex said slowly.

"Yes," Lilith corrected. "You get imdiate results... a team of Peak Enhanced practitioners in a month... while preserving resources for the next phase."

She paused.

"And once they reach Peak Enhanced with these pills strengthening their foundations, the Elixir of Absolute Restoration will be even more effective. Clean slate, maximum potential, ready for Apex attempts."

Alex’s lips curved into a slight smile.

"Alright. I’ll take forty Foundation Enhancent Pills. Ten for each of them."

"Confird," Lilith said.

The interface flared bright gold:

---

[PURCHASE CONFIRD]

Item: Foundation Enhancent Pill × 40

Cost: 1,000 CP (25 CP × 40)

Attuned to:

- Damien Cross (10 pills)

- Dimitri Volkov (10 pills)

- Andre Petrov (10 pills)

- Pavel Sokolov (10 pills)

[Items stored in inventory - Ready for distribution]

---

Alex felt the familiar sensation of items materializing in his inventory... accessible whenever he needed them, invisible to everyone but him.

’A month,’ he thought again, satisfaction settling deep in his chest.

’Only in a month, Viktor’s entire team will be at Peak Enhanced.’

’And then...’

Footsteps echoed in the corridor. Multiple sets, approaching with the disciplined coordination of n who’d trained together for years.

The door opened.

Viktor’s team filed in.

Damien entered first, his tactical awareness evident in how he scanned the room even in their own secure space. Dimitri followed, massive fra moving with quiet confidence. Andre claid a seat with analytical precision. Pavel settled in last, youthful energy barely contained.

And Viktor—Apex presence subtle but unmistakable—took position at the the table.

They all looked at Alex with varying degrees of curiosity and readiness.

Waiting.

Alex leaned back in his chair, his gaze sweeping across them with deliberate weight.

Damien spoke first, his tone professional but carrying a hint of dry humor.

"I hope you’ve taken good care of our guests, Mr. Hale."

Alex’s lips curved into a knowing smile.

The two n who’d been following Jennifer. Cassandra’s surveillance team, turned and delivered straight into Vivienne’s hands.

"They’ve been... accommodated," Alex said, amusent clear in his voice. "Vivienne sends her regards."

Damien nodded once, satisfaction flickering across his expression.

Viktor leaned forward slightly, resting his forearms on the table.

"Capturing them was a minor inconvenience at best," he said, his Russian accent subtle but present. "Early Enhanced cultivators trying to breach an estate guarded by my team?"

He shook his head, sothing like amusent in his eyes.

"They never stood a chance."

"No," Alex agreed. "They didn’t."

The acknowledgnt settled between them—recognition of competence, of value delivered without fanfare.

Then Pavel shifted in his seat, his youthful energy making stillness difficult. He glanced at the others, then back at Alex with open curiosity.

"Are we not training today?" he asked. "You usually arrive earlier when we’re running combat drills."

Alex’s expression remained neutral, but sothing flickered in his eyes—anticipation, satisfaction, calculation.

"Not today," he said simply. "I have sothing else to do."

Pavel’s brow furrowed slightly, confusion mixing with interest.

"Sothing else?"

"Sothing better," Alex corrected.

He straightened in his chair, his gaze sweeping across all of them now—Damien, Dimitri, Andre, Pavel, and Viktor watching with sharp, assessing eyes.

The room went quiet.

Not tense. Just attentive.

They’d learned to recognize when Alex was building toward sothing significant.

Alex let the silence stretch for one more heartbeat.

Then he spoke, his voice carrying quiet authority that filled the space.

"Before we discuss anything else," he said, his voice carrying quiet authority, "I have sothing for you. All of you."

The room went still.

Viktor’s eyes sharpened imdiately. The others straightened slightly, attention focusing completely.

Alex stood, moving with Enhanced grace that made his authority feel natural rather than forced.

He reached into his jacket... though in reality, he was accessing his system inventory... and his hand erged holding sothing that made every man in the room freeze.

Four crimson pills rested in his palm.

Each was roughly the size of a large marble, deep red with golden veining that caught the light. They seed to pulse with faint luminescence, as if containing their own inner warmth.

The pills looked expensive. Precious. Powerful.

"What..." Damien’s voice trailed off.

Alex held his palm steady, letting them see clearly.

"Foundation Perfection Pills," he said. "Each one is specifically for each of you. Damien. Dimitri. Andre. Pavel."

He paused, letting that sink in.

"These pills will purge every impurity you’ve accumulated through years of conventional cultivation. They’ll optimize your ridian pathways for maximum efficiency. And they’ll push you... all of you... to Peak Enhanced Realm."

The silence that followed was absolute.

Andre’s analytical mask cracked first. "Peak... Enhanced?"

"From our current stages?" Dimitri asked, his voice rough with disbelief.

Alex nodded once. "Guaranteed. Complete breakthrough with zero risk of foundation damage or cultivation deviation."

He moved forward, approaching Damien first.

"This one is yours," Alex said, placing the crimson pill in Damien’s palm.

Damien stared at it like it was made of condensed starlight. His fingers closed around it carefully, reverently.

"Mr. Hale, I..." His voice failed him.

Alex moved to Dimitri next, pressing the second pill into his massive hand.

"Yours."
