Alex moved through the quiet administrative wing, the heavy silence of the corridor a stark contrast to the buzzing energy he had left behind in the quad.

He reached Tisha’s door and, without a montary pause or a polite knock, pushed his way inside.

Tisha was buried in a mountain of faculty paperwork, her thick fras perched on the bridge of her nose as she scrawled notes onto a ledger.

In the soft light of the office, she looked remarkably cute, her brow furrowed in a rare display of pure, academic focus.

Alex stepped behind her, his shadow falling over her desk before he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her back against his chest.

"Ahh!"

She startled, a small gasp escaping her lips, but the tension vanished instantly as she felt his familiar heat.

She leaned back into him, her head resting against his shoulder as her body instinctively recognized his touch.

"Lock the door, you arrogant bastard," Tisha hissed, though the command was undermined by the way she settled into his embrace.

She shot a panicked look toward the door of her office, the only thing standing between her reputation and the busy faculty corridor outside.

"I have an image to maintain. Anyone could walk in and see this... this atrocity. Have you no sha at all?"

Alex didn’t budge. He tightened his grip, his chin resting near her ear.

"Let them," he murmured, his voice a low, vibrating hum. "If it’s a man, he’ll just be rotting with jealousy that I have such a hot teacher all to myself. And if it’s a lady, she’ll be just as envious of you for having a hunk like for yourself."

Tisha couldn’t help it; a small, helpless smile broke through her professional mask at his narcissistic remark.

She turned slightly in his arms, her eyes narrowing as she looked up at him.

"How many bitches did you fuck today?" she asked, her tone shifting into a sharp, knowing interrogation.

Alex blinked, montarily shocked by her uncanny ability to sense the lingering scent of other won on him. He let out a short, dark laugh.

"Not many."

Before she could retort, he moved his hand down between her legs, delivering a sharp, stinging slap against her inner thigh.

"Sss-ah!" Tisha jumped, a muffled moan escaping her as her eyes went wide.

Slowly, she turned her head to look back at him, her gaze sharpening into an accusing glare that failed to hide the feverish heat in her eyes.

"You haven’t even recovered yourself and you’re already being jealous, huh?" Alex teased, his fingers lingering on the sensitive, aching muscles he had pushed to their limit the night before.

Tisha’s breath hitched, her face flushing a deep crimson as the physical reminder of her submission flooded back.

"I’m not jealous," she whispered, though she didn’t pull away. "I’m just... observant."

Alex smirked at her defiance, leaning in until his lips brushed against her ear.

He let out a low, grounding hum that vibrated against her skin before pressing a lingering kiss there, making Tisha’s eyes flutter shut as a soft, helpless moan escaped her.

The intimate silence was shattered by a sharp, rhythmic knock on the door.

Tisha bolted upright, her heart leaping into her throat. She looked at Alex with wide, frantic eyes, her professional life flashing before her as she scrambled to smooth her blazer and push her glasses back up her nose.

Alex didn’t miss a beat; with a predator’s calm, he slipped out of the embrace and pivoted, dropping into the guest chair across from her desk with the bored, slumped posture of a student inquiring about a grade.

"Get it together, Professor," he mouthed with a wink, his expression shifting instantly into one of polite, academic interest.

Tisha narrowed her eyes at him, a silent promise of retribution burning in her gaze even as she fought to hide the flush creeping up her neck.

She cleared her throat twice, trying to summon the authoritative ’Professor Wells’ from the wreckage of her composure.

"Co in," she finally called out, her voice remarkably steady despite the chaotic hamring in her chest.

The door creaked open, and Professor Sterling of the Finance departnt stepped in, a practiced, oily smile plastered across his face.

His grin faltered instantly when he saw Alex lounging in the guest chair, his territorial instincts flaring behind a mask of professional concern.

"Hello, Professor Sterling," Tisha said, her voice dropping into a chilly, professional register.

Alex offered a lazy, brief nod.

He knew Sterling; the man wasn’t in his departnt, but his reputation for "extra-curricular" interests in younger faculty mbers preceded him.

Alex could practically sll the sudden spike of hostility radiating off the man.

Sterling hadn’t expected to find a student... especially not one as relaxed as Alex... lounging in Tisha’s office during what he’d calculated to be the most perfect mont to move forward with his plan.

"Mrs. Wells," Sterling purred, his voice thick with a forced, paternal warmth that made Alex’s skin crawl.

He turned toward Alex, hovering over him before heavily dropping a hand onto Alex’s shoulder, his fingers digging in with a silent, territorial squeeze.

"And hello, young man. I’ve heard quite a bit about you lately," Sterling said, his voice dropping into a low, patronizing drawl. He leaned in slightly, his eyes narrowing as he fixed Alex with a pointed, aningful look.

"I hope you’re preparing diligently for your exams and not... wasting your ti on unnecessary distractions. It would be a sha to see such potential squandered on things that you shouldn’t be focusing on."

Sterling pulled up a chair far too close to the desk, effectively trying to crowd Alex out of the conversation.

He didn’t even look at the boy as he spoke, his eyes wandering over Tisha with a hunger that was barely masked by his academic title.

"I was just about to head ho when I noticed your parking spot was empty," Sterling said, his tone dripping with an unearned intimacy. "I realized you didn’t bring your car today. I thought I’d do you the favor of dropping you off at your place. A woman in your position shouldn’t be waiting around for a cab."

Alex watched the exchange, a slow, dangerous smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.

He could see the entitlent in every line of Sterling’s face... the man truly believed he was offering a gift she couldn’t refuse.

Tisha didn’t even blink, though the corners of her eyes tightened.

She was well aware of Sterling’s persistent gallantry, despite the fact that his own wife was currently present in the very sa building.

"That’s very thoughtful, Mr. Sterling," Tisha replied, her smile razor-thin and devoid of warmth. "But I wouldn’t want to create a rift between such a ’sweet’ couple. Your wife might not appreciate you playing chauffeur to other faculty mbers while she’s still stuck in her office."

Sterling’s smile turned smug, misinterpreting her jab as a sign that she was finally paying attention to his dostic life.

"Oh, don’t worry about her. She’ll be late tonight... she still has a mountain of curriculum to finish. Plenty of ti for a detour."

Tisha’s expression went stone-cold. She leaned back, putting a deliberate distance between them.

"I’ll have to decline, Mr. Sterling. I still have several things to attend to," she said, her eyes flicking pointedly toward Alex, "and I’ve already arranged for my own transportation."

The air in the room turned brittle. Sterling’s eyes darkened as they snapped back to Alex.

For a split second, a flash of suspicion crossed his face... he rembered her voice sounding a little too breathless, a little too strained when she called out for him to enter.

But he quickly dismissed it.

He had been pursuing Tisha for over a year; she was an ice queen, a fortress of professional ethics. There was no way she would be involved with a student.

Sterling stood up, his face shifting into a mask of wounded pride, though his eyes remained predatory. He wasn’t a man who took ’no’ as a final answer; he viewed it rely as a temporary setback in a long ga of conquest.

"A pity," Sterling murmured, smoothing the front of his expensive blazer. "I’d hate to think of you overworking yourself, Tisha. But I admire your dedication... it’s one of the many things I find... compelling about you."

Sterling stood up, his face a mask of wounded pride. He squeezed Alex’s shoulder one last ti, a gesture ant to be encouraging but feeling more like a threat.

"Study hard for those exams, son. Wouldn’t want you to waste the Professor’s valuable ti," he rumbled.

He gave Tisha one last, lingering look... the look of a man who wasn’t used to being told ’no’... before finally turning on his heel.

"Goodbye, Tisha. Don’t work too late."

The door clicked shut, and Professor Sterling was finally gone, leaving a foul, lingering scent of expensive cologne and arrogance in the air.

Alex didn’t say a word. He stood up from his seat and walked to the door. This ti, he didn’t just close it; he reached for the deadbolt and turned it.

The sharp, heavy thud of the lock echoed through the quiet office, a final declaration that the outside world was officially barred.

Tisha watched him, the rigid Professor Wells persona finally crumbling.

A soft, breathless laugh escaped her as she leaned back in her chair, her eyes sparkling with a sudden, mischievous light.

"Jealous, aren’t we?" she teased, her voice dropping into a playful lilt. She adjusted her glasses, her gaze tracking him as he turned back toward her.

"I didn’t realize the ’my man’ felt threatened by a Finance professor in a tailored suit."
