Wen Chulin and his dormmates had just defeated a mutated potted plant, leaving them drenched in sweat.
Suddenly, soone pointed at Wen Chulin in alarm: "Wen Chulin is wounded."
Wen Chulin’s heart sank, realizing the pain; the plant had swiped his neck earlier, leaving two gashes that were bleeding, but the blood looked odd, dark red with hints of green.
Soon, he felt his body growing stiff, realizing things weren’t good, his consciousness blurring, with only an instinct to attack his surroundings.
In a daze, he felt himself being attacked.
"Let’s drive him out."
"Bei Chen over there is tying zombies up, maybe there’s a way to restore them." Wen Chulin’s roommate hesitated, "As long as he doesn’t threaten our lives, we won’t do anything to him. But if he attacks, we’ll have to smash his head."
Everyone in the dorm was college students, and the apocalypse had just arrived. They couldn’t bring themselves to kill a classmate.
So everyone worked together to tie up the zombified Wen Chulin and toss him outside the door.
But things weren’t steady for Yun Rou, she was being attacked by two especially large hamsters. She didn’t know who kept hamsters in the dorm, but it nearly got her killed.
Both were as big as cats, and she could only grab a broom to fend them off, dodging incessantly.
Just then, the fish tank shattered, the fish inside had mutated too, jumping out to chase her.
This dorm was no longer safe, so she quickly rushed out.
After only a few steps, a mutated willow tree wrapped around her, leaving her unable to break free. As she struggled, she saw a familiar figure and instinctively yelled: "Wen Chulin!"
Once she got a clear look, she realized Wen Chulin’s face was deathly pale, with slow movents, clearly turned into a zombie.
She was speechless, feeling a deep sense of despair rise within her.
The real apocalypse was far scarier than she’d imagined. She actually wished she were still in the virtual world.
