Judging by Wei Wenlan’s expression, she must have passed her stage.

"Did you have a bonus level?" Ah Chen asked.

She’d raked in tens of thousands.
"Whack-a-Mole," Wei Wenlan chid in, still savoring the mont, "In five minutes, as many as you hit were credited to your skill. We bagged over a thousand coins. Truly a bonus level! I can’t wait for the next one."
"The reward for hitting a fixed target was high, but it was quite hard. Otherwise..." Bai Xingwen said regretfully, as it was a money-grabbing level.
"How many did you get?" Wei Wenlan asked with interest.
Ah Chen was about to speak when three people appeared nearby, drawing Wei Wenlan’s attention.

Huo Jingchen glanced over at Ah Chen and her group. Judging from their expressions, they must have passed the stage.
He said, "We cleared the last stage, but a previous bonus level delayed us a bit."
Since the others had cleared their stage, he could reasonably guess they had accessed a bonus level, so there was no need to hide it.
Though the bonus levels were great for earning coins, without skill, even that wasn’t easy, and he had spent quite so ti trying for better rewards. Unfortunately, he didn’t achieve his desired outco, which left him a bit frustrated.

Unable to end up in the sa place, they could only rely on their own abilities to survive.
From the mont he jotted down nas, he clearly understood that as long as people wanted to co in and the numbers were sufficient, it was very likely not everyone would make it out alive.
This was a harsh reality.
Yet in the face of death, he couldn’t give up the hope of surviving and would hold onto it tightly.
