The main church was grand.

That was a fact.

When we arrived at the main church, I had to look up to get a better look at it.

This was bigger than any of the monunts that Saintess Irene had taken us to.

This was the center of the Holy Empire, so naturally it was a place that was built up in a grand fashion.

At the sa ti, this was a good representation of just how rich and powerful the Holy Empire was that they were able to build such a place for the center of their governnt.

There were many people that were going in and out of this building as well, which showed just how important it was. The people that went in and out were all people that dressed in clothes that made them seem important.

The people that were able to move freely in this place were all people that were important in the Holy Empire.

But even if they had status in the Holy Empire, they still weren't at the sa level as Saintess Irene.

She was the saintess that was on the sa level as the popes of the large religions. No, she was actually at a higher level than the popes of the large religions.

So they didn't approach us as they walked past.

Though I could feel their gazes falling on as they passed by.

The way that they looked at was as if they were scoping out, as if they were trying to see through .

But I didn't let that bother as I focused on the main church that was in front of . After admiring it for a bit, I turned to Saintess Irene and asked, "Where do we go now?"

Saintess Irene had been silently waiting on the side with a faint smile on her face, almost as if she was proud to see us looking at the main church with the looks of admiration that we had.

When I asked this, she waved her hand and said, "Please follow . The council has been waiting for your arrival."

I was surprised to hear this, especially when she said that they were waiting.

The council that she ntioned was the Holy Council, the ruling body of the Holy Empire.

They were made up of the major figures of almost all the different religions, though the religions that had more followers would have more sway on the council. That was just how it was when there was a nation that was ruled by religion.

The number of followers was the most important thing.

Since they were the ruling body of the Holy Empire, they were a group that was far beyond when it ca to status. That was why I was surprised to find that they were actually waiting for instead of just directly summoning .

The way that Saintess Irene acted was as if we were free to take our ti.

It was as if she didn't care that we were keeping the Holy Council waiting at all.

But I didn't think the sa thing since the Holy Council was made up of the different heads of the religions. It was one thing to keep one person waiting, but to keep an entire group of super influential people waiting...

So I started heading into the main church, though I did go slowly to let Saintess Irene lead the way.

With her leading the way, we quickly arrived at the center of the main church.

There were a pair of large doors that were waiting for us.

When these doors were open, a large assembly room appeared in front of us.

Sitting in this assembly room were quite a few people and it seed that most of them were old n, but there were also a few middle aged n and even a few old won sitting there.

As soon as the door opened and we ca in, all of them suddenly turned to look in our direction.

Or it was better to say that all of their eyes were gathered on .

At the front of the room, there was a table that had seven people sitting there.

These seven were the head counselors of this Holy Council, the heads of the seven largest religions in the Holy Empire.

Among them was one face that I recognized.

It was the pope of the Solista Religion.

The other six faces were unknown to since I had never t them before.

Even in the ga, I had never seen them before.

But that wasn't strange since these counselors weren't that important in the ga, the plot had focused more on Saintess Irene.

Saintess Irene didn't seem to mind at all as she walked into the room without any hesitation. Though when she saw that I didn't follow her, she stopped to turn around to look at before saying, "Holy son, is sothing wrong?"

A bitter smile appeared on my face when I heard this.

Though I knew that there was nothing wrong with the way that she acted since she was already used to appearing in front of the Holy Council.

The sa couldn't be said for and the guards that accompanied .

Now that I was a king, I naturally felt pressured eting the ones that governed the Holy Empire, one of the largest human countries in this world.

Seeing that I didn't say anything and I didn't even move as I just stood there with a bitter smile on my face, Saintess Irene ca over and took my hand before pulling forward.

I was surprised to see her act this way.

This was a saintess that never touched anyone because she didn't want to co in contact with anyone, but here she was grabbing without any hesitation.

I really didn't know what to say.

I could also see that there were a few people that were looking at this with strange looks as

well.

But in the end, Saintess Irene pulled to the front of the room where the seven popes were

sitting.
