When the light in front of disappeared, I found that I was in a space that I was kind of familiar with.
However, this place was also different since it was different from the places that I had been in before.
This place wasn't just a world that was completely filled with white light.
Instead, this was a place that seed to be filled with water.
Only I didn't get the chance to look around as a voice suddenly rang out.
"Is it wrong to want to admire perfection?"
I didn't even need to think to know what this voice was referring to or who this voice belonged to.
It could only belong to the one that had pulled into this space.
It was the one that this temple was devoted to in the first place.
It was Aquaron, the god of water.
Looking around again, I eventually found the source of the voice.
It was a figure of light that was floating there in front of . This figure of light was completely covered in light, which obscured from seeing their true appearance.
This was just like the case with Solista and Vivrum, but was different from the Origin Giant. Which ant that this Aquaron was a god that was on the sa level as Solista and Vivrum. When I looked up at him, Aquaron spoke again.
"Don't you think that it's in human nature to admire things that are naturally perfect? If you still think that it's strange, then you're the one with poor taste and have no right to judge others."
I really didn't know what to say when I heard this.
But with an internal sigh, I decided that it wasn't worth arguing with him over this matter.
There was nothing to gain from arguing with a god after all.
"It seems like you are one with poor taste then."
A bitter smile appeared on my lips after hearing this.
Gods could read the minds of mortals, so there really was no way of hiding these thoughts from him. Aquaron would be able to read my mind without even aning to, so there was nothing that could be hidden from him.
Still, I decided to act like I didn't hear anything.
"Lord Aquaron, what did you summon for?"
Aquaron didn't say anything at first, but then...
"Why are you acting this way? There's no need for you to be this formal, you can just call Aquaron."
The way that he said this completely caught off guard.
After all, he said it in a way that almost seed like he was complaining about what I was saying. At the sa ti, it almost seed like he was a bit disappointed with the way that I addressed him.
This was a god and he was talking like this...
It really made unsure of how to deal with him.
But in the end, it was Aquaron who broke the awkward silence by saying, "Well, let's forget about that for now. I do have sothing that I want to discuss with you and if I don't take care of this, who knows what she'll do."
I couldn't help raising a brow when I heard this.
It made curious of who this 'she' that he was referring to was.
Though there was a part of that had so clues of who that person was.
Aquaron seed to choose to ignore these thoughts of mine as he waved his hand and a trident suddenly appeared.
I thought that he was about to give this trident, but that wasn't what happened. After the trident appeared, he waved that trident and there were all of these different items that appeared in the space around us. There were all kinds of different items, but the thing that they had in common was that these were things that could be found under the water. All of them were items that seed to be related to the ocean in so way or another.
But the other thing that I noticed was the mana that was coming from them. These items seed like they were completely filled with powerful mana.
It seed that all of these things were relics.
After these things appeared, the figure of light suddenly raised a hand.
I thought that this hand would reach out to grab one of these relics, but that wasn't the case. Instead, that hand went up to his chin and it ford the gesture of him thinking about
sothing.
With the way that he looked at the relics that were around him and the way that he looked like he was thinking about it, it seed that he was thinking about which one to take.
It was as if he wasn't willing to give up any of these things, so he was choosing sothing that he had to part with.
I really didn't know what to say about this...
"No, no, this one fits my style too well. I can't give this thing away."
"I can't give this one up either. This one is perfect for the weekends, it's a must."
"This is the one that I wore to the last gathering of gods, so if I give it up, they'll all laugh at when we et again."
The way that he was acting was almost as if he was choosing so kind of outfit for an event.
It wasn't as if he was choosing a relic to give at all.
There was a part of that really wanted to let out a tear when I heard Aquaron going on like this, but I just stood there with a calm look on my face.
Eventually, he said, "Alright, it's between these ones."
That was before he turned to look at to say, "I'm just choosing the best one for you. Don't worry about it."
He said this as if I didn't hear his words just now.
I really didn't know whether to laugh or cry after hearing this.
