I was surprised by what the rman King suddenly said.
I didn't understand how the conversation went to him telling a story, but I still gave a simple nod for him to continue.
After all, I could see from the look on his face that whatever story he wanted to tell was related to the matter that we had been discussing.
It turned out that it was more than just related, it was the reason for his personal grudge against the sea witches.
"I had a brother a long ti ago..."
The story was that the rman King had an older brother and he wasn't even supposed to beco the rman King, but sothing happened to his older brother who had been the crown prince at the ti.
Simply put, the crown prince fell in love and eloped.
That left the rman Empire in a bind and the current rman King had no choice but to take the throne.

It was naturally with the sea witches.
The crown prince of the rman Empire, the one that was supposed to take the throne had run off with a sea witch and eloped.
There was no doubt that this kind of event would create a rift between the sea witches and the rman Empire.
In fact, before this happened, the rman Empire and the sea witches mostly left each other alone because of the balance of power between them. But after this happened, the rman Empire started aggressively making things difficult for the sea witches.
They didn't go too far that it would start an all out war with the sea witches, but they still did cause quite a bit of trouble for them.
"I just couldn't believe that my brother would do sothing like that." The rman King said with a sigh when he finished his story.
I didn't say anything during his entire story, but now it felt like I should say sothing.
So I reached out and patted him on the shoulder before saying, "Did you talk to him in the end?"
The rman King knitted his brows before asking, "How was I supposed to talk to him when he was the one that abandoned us? When he was the one that left all of us and went off with that woman?"
The way that he said this made it clear that there were personal feelings in his voice.
"I know that you might not understand why he did it, but I hope that you will at least give him the benefit of the doubt. There are two sides to every story and I hope that you won't let your anger cloud your judgent." I said in a calm voice.
The rman King knitted his brows even more as he looked at without saying a thing.
With the way that he looked at , it really seed like he was unhappy with what I was saying.
But in the end, he didn't reject what I said.
That was at least a good sign.
After a long silence, the rman King finally said, "Do you really believe that this is the case?"
I was caught off guard when he suddenly asked this, but I said with a nod, "There's always more than ets the eye when things happen that we can't understand. We should try to keep an open mind..."
Then after a pause, I added, "Especially for people that we care about."
It finally seed like I was finally getting through to him with the way that he started to show hesitation.
It seed that there was a part of him that still believed in his brother and wanted to settle this matter.
That was good for since it ant that I could convince him to go along with my plan. "Then are you willing to talk to him?" I asked the rman King.
There was a look of hesitation in his eyes, but eventually he gave a tiny nod of agreent.
It seed like he wasn't to show any more emotion than this.
But that was still enough.
"Then I'll be the bridge between you since I'm soone that they have never seen before. I know of a way to contact the sea witches without causing trouble. As soon as I find your brother, I'll convince him to co and talk to you."
The rman King deeply knitted his brows as he looked at .
There was a trace of surprise, but what was on his face more was his doubt.
He didn't understand how I would have a way of contacting the sea witches since I was a human from land.
I shouldn't know sothing like this after all...
But there was also the fact that I was the human that had been summoned by their Lord
Aquaron.
A human like this certainly wouldn't be normal.
"What do you need from ?" The rman King asked in a serious voice.
He knew that I wouldn't say all this unless there was sothing that I needed from him. It was only because I needed sothing from him that I even talked to him instead of going on
my own.
Though a part of it was because this undersea area was the territory of the rman Empire.
"Let Ariel co with . I think that it'll help if she's with ."
The rman King once again deeply knitted his brows when he heard this.
He was reacting even more than when I said that I had a way to talk to the sea witches.
Though based on the look on his face, it seed that he could guess why I wanted Ariel to

In the end, he slowly gave a nod to my surprise.
I really thought that I would need to convince him, but it seed that the best way to convince soone was to get their god to appear.
No matter what, god was the best way to convince soone.
