I turned to look at Ariel, but it was clear by the look on her face that she wasn't in the mood to say anything else.
So I just turned back and followed Puffer as we headed through the streets of this town.
The town itself was a fairly normal looking town.
Even if this place was considered the hideout of the sea witches, that didn't an that it was that different from other places. Even if the sea witches could use powerful spells with their magic, that didn't an that they were different from other living beings.
They still needed places to eat and sleep just like everyone else.
Which was why the town had all the things that a town would need.
Though there were a few stalls that certainly had the flair that one would expect from a town of sea witches. These were stalls that sold ingredients that they needed for their experints. There were all kinds of different ingredients that were being sold, but they all were strange looking things that had traces of mana to them, making it clear that they would be used for magic experints.
Other than that, it was a totally normal looking town.
Well, other than the fact that the children were playing with magic rather than playing normal gas...
This was also sothing that was different about this place, but that was to be expected since this was a place that was filled with sea witches.
The one other thing that was strange was...
There were only won, there were almost no n that were in this town.
That was because the sea witches were mainly won in the first place.
It was unknown what caused it, but mostly won were born from sea witches. It was almost as if there was so kind of curse that was placed on the sea witches that made them give birth to girls.
Still, that didn't matter since they kept bringing more n in to populate with.
After walking for a bit, we arrived in front of a normal looking house.
This house seed no different from the other houses that were here. In fact, it almost seed as if this house was smaller than the other houses that were here.
In short, this place seed no different from a place that a normal person would live in.
It was completely different from what I had imagined would be the residence of one of the Five Great Witches of the Sea and the forr crown prince of the rman Empire.
I even had to ask Puffer, "Are you sure that this is the right place?"
She just gave a nod with a faint smile on her lips without saying anything.
It didn't even seem like she was planning on heading in with us, it seed like she was planning on letting us go in all on our own.
So I turned to look at Ariel since she was the one that had been in a daze the entire ti. Only when I turned around, I found that there was a determined look on her face as she looked at the house in front of us.
It seed that she was no longer distracted and was focused on what was about to co.
She even took the first step forward as she said, "Co on, let's go and et them."
I just followed her with a trace of bitterness in my smile, but I didn't say anything as I also focused on what was about to co.
This was certainly what would make or break my efforts here.
So the two of us headed towards the entrance of this house.
As if it sensed that we arrived, the door suddenly opened in front of us.
But it turned out that this wasn't because it sensed us, rather it was because of the person that was waiting behind the door the entire ti.
It was a rman who had a friendly smile on his face.
It was clear that this smile was directed at Ariel with the way that he looked at her.
There was a mont of silence that lingered in the air as the two of them just stood there staring at each other for a bit.
In the end, the rman was the one that broke the silence by saying, "My little niece, it's been a long ti since I've been able to see you. Though to be fair, you've probably never t , so it would be strange if you knew who I was."
"You're my uncle? My father's older brother?" Ariel asked in a slow voice.
The forr crown prince gave a nod before saying, "That's right, I was the forr crown prince of the rman Empire, but I ran away and left all that behind. I'm sure that you have an idea of why I did this after arriving here, right?"
Ariel slowly gave a nod, but there was still an unhappy look on her face as she looked at her uncle.
Seeing this, the forr crown prince said with a faint smile, "How about you co in first before we have a talk? I'm sure that there are plenty of things that you want to ask, but there's soone that I want you to et first."
Ariel and I both had confused looks when we heard this.
The way that he said this didn't seem like he was talking about his wife, the Great Witch of the Sea that he ran away with. It was almost as if he wanted to introduce family to Ariel.
In the end, Ariel gave a slow nod and started following the forr crown prince into the house.
As we walked forward, the forr crown prince looked at with a brow raised, but Ariel stepped forward before I could say anything.
The way that she looked at the forr crown prince was as if she was saying, "He's with . Either he cos, or I don't."
So in the end, the forr crown prince accepted my presence and led us into the house.
