With the calm look that I gave him, he was sure that I was being serious which just made him even more surprised.
After a long silence, the forr crown prince finally said, "Are you joking? How could my stubborn brother ever agree to talk to ?" He turned to Ariel to say, "You should know what kind of person your father is and you're telling that he wants to talk to ?"
Ariel couldn't help slowly nodding in agreent to this.
That made the forr crown prince look even more skeptical as he said, "If that's all that you have to say, then I think that there's nothing else that we need to discuss."
I didn't panic as I calmly said, "How are you so sure that he hasn't changed?"
The forr crown prince had been about to stand up to leave when he heard this. He slowly turned back to look at with one brow raised in doubt, but he didn't say anything when he saw the calm and serious look that was on my face.
After another pause, he finally asked, "What are you really here for? If it was just that, I doubt that you would be going this far for my brother."
"I'm here to broker peace between the rman Empire and the sea witches." This ti, I didn't hide it. I knew that there was nothing to gain from hiding this, so it was better to tell him the truth.
There was a strange look that appeared on the forr crown prince's face when he heard this. The way that he looked at was almost as if he was looking at soone crazy. Though I didn't bla him since I would have had the sa expression if soone were to say this to .
After a while, he said with a sigh, "It seems that it's been a waste of ti after all."
I suddenly took out sothing that imdiately made him fall silent once again.
As he stared at the button that I suddenly pulled out, I said, "What if I told you that there was soone else who told to do this."
He didn't say anything as he continued looking at the button.
With the way that he looked at the button that I was holding, it was as if he recognized it.
I was a bit surprised by this, but the forr crown prince alleviated my doubts by saying, "I used to be the forr crown prince of the rman Empire, the things that I've seen are more than you think. If I wasn't able to recognize the aura of sothing like this, then I wouldn't have been a good forr crown prince. I would naturally recognize the aura of the god that is worshiped by the rman Empire."
Then narrowing his eyes, he looked at to ask, "It's just I have to wonder, why do you have one of the relics of that god?"
