It took a while for the talks to finish.
Since we were under the water, we could tell the ti based on how much light there was around us.
We started in the morning when there was bright light filling the water.
When we were done, it was already getting dark.
The royal guards had gone back and obtained so sort of underwater lights to place around the area for us to continue our talks when it got dark.
Looking at them, it seed like they were lights that were alive.
They were sea creatures that had so kind of phosphorescence to them that allowed them to glow like this under the water. They were trapped inside of so glass containers which allowed them to be used like lamps.
When under the water, it seed that they used whatever they could.
I had to admire this kind of ingenuity.
After we finished the preliminary discussions, the rman King suddenly said, "Let's go to the palace and have so dinner."
It seed that after the bonding, he had forgiven his brother enough that he would allow him into the capital again. Though a part of that was also because this would count as the first case of diplomacy with the sea witches.
The forr crown prince however had a different reaction.
After all, even if he had left the rman Empire capital for a long ti, this was a place that had been his ho a long ti ago. It was impossible for him to have completely forgotten all his feelings about this place.
It was the place that he grew up and the place where his family had been, so of course he missed it.
So when he had the chance to return to the capital, he looked emotional.
At the sa ti, it even seed like he was a bit scared about returning to the capital. It was as if he was afraid that it would have beco a completely different place from what he rembered.
Everyone could see the look on his face and guess what he was thinking, so they didn't rush him and just waited for the forr crown prince to calm himself down.
Zyra ca over and took his arm, while looking at him with a supportive look.
The forr crown prince slowly turned over and gave her a nod before saying, "Don't worry, I'm fine."
Zyra gave a nod, but she still didn't let go of his arm.
The forr crown prince took a deep breath before saying, "Let's go in then."
The rman King gave a nod and was about to take the lead, heading towards the door that we had co out of when we left the capital.
It was just that before he could reach the door...
"Get down!" One of the royal guards managed to give this warning before a large explosion appeared in front of us. It appeared where the rman King had been about to swim over to, it was right between our group and the door of the capital.
Because of the shout from that royal guard, the rman King had stopped himself and avoided the explosion.
But after the explosion, that was when shit really hit the fans.
After all, even if he was safe, this was still an assassination attempt on the life of the rman King.
At a ti like this when the relationship between the rman Empire and the sea witches was tense, if sothing were to happen to the rman King...
The royal guards took this very seriously and imdiately ca forward to guard the rman King and his family. As for the forr crown prince's family and , it seed that we were being treated as the culprits with the way that they looked at us.
But that was to be expected since this was a sudden attack on the rman King.
One might think that the forr crown prince would do this with the help of the sea witches.
After all, he was soone that used to be in the line of succession and if he wanted his throne back, he would have to take care of the rman King first...
But those doubts were soon dispelled by a laugh that rang out.
"Ha, ha, ha, they must have been blown to smithereens! Now they will all know the true power of the Five True Witches of the Sea!"
"Five True Witches of the Sea?" I asked in a confused voice before turning to look at the forr crown prince and Zyra.
It wasn't just who looked at them, it was also the rman King, his family, and the royal guards that all looked at them. Though the royal guards seed like they were more on guard than they were curious.
We could see that there were bitter smiles that were on the faces of the forr crown prince and Zyra. There was also a bitter smile that was on Puffer's face.
This ant that they clearly recognized these people who called themselves the Five True Witches of the Sea.
After a mont of silence, Zyra waved her hand at Puffer who swam over to her side before they went towards the source of the voice.
The royal guards were about to stop them, but the forr crown prince said, "This is an internal problem for the sea witches, so will you leave this matter to us?"
The royal guards seed like they wanted to say sothing, but the rman King just raised
his hand to stop them before giving a nod in response.
The royal guards still didn't seem willing to accept this, but they had no choice since the rman King had already given his orders. So the only thing that they could do was surround
the rman King and his family, ready to protect them at any mont.
When the smoke cleared, there were five figures that appeared out of the smoke.
These should be the Five True Witches of the Sea.
