I turned around to see that it was the rman King who had sent this stream of water at the wave of corruption.
It was a trident that had suddenly appeared in his hand that shot out this stream of water.
I didn't even need to think to know where this trident ca from.

A bitter smile appeared on my lips before I focused on regaining my mana.

This layer of ice quickly spread out in front of before covering completely. Though it didn't remain like that for long as it wasn't there to protect like a barrier, but rather it was there to form a sort of net for the wave of corruption.
The wave of corruption tried fighting back, but it was actually smaller now that I was able to see it clearly without the stream of water blocking the way.
Once again, I didn't need to think to know what had happened.
The stream of water that had co from the trident that the rman King wielded was considered sacred water, just like how the ice that was released from the button that I had was considered sacred ice.
After all, the trident in the rman King's hand was a relic that ca from Aquaron, so it was one that was filled with divine energy. The water that it released was also filled with divine energy and was considered sacred ice.
That was why it was capable of purifying the corruption energy just like the sacred ice had done.
The ice spread out faster than the corruption energy could run and it helped that the corruption energy was smaller than before. So in the end, the ice completely surrounded the corruption energy and trapped it like the rest of the corruption energy.
As soon as the corruption energy was contained, it was as if life ca back to the land around
it.
It was as if what had been causing the decay disappeared and the plants that were still alive seed to regain a bit of green to it.
However, it was too early to let our guards down before the corruption energy was completely purified.
That was until two people ca forward to look closely at the corruption energy that was trapped in the ice.
It was Zyra and Puffer that ca forward.
They looked at the ice as if it was so kind of experint that interested them very much. It was clear that they had never seen this kind of thing before based on the way that they looked at the ice.
It was just that this thing was sothing that the royal family feared, so they couldn't just let them do what they wanted with the ice.
The forr crown prince ca forward to stop Zyra and Puffer from snapping off pieces of the ice for themselves.
As he moved them away, he said, "No, you can't do anything to it. The corruption is sothing dangerous, you can't experint with it."
Both Zyra and Puffer looked disappointed when they heard this, but they still followed the forr crown prince's words.
Though from ti to ti, they did look back at the corruption frozen in the ice with a longing look.

But I wasn't going to give this relic to them.
I had no idea what they would do if they got their hands on this button, but I knew it wouldn't
be good.
So they were the last people that I could give this button to.
After it seed like the corruption energy was half purified, the rman King and forr crown prince let out sighs as if they were relieved.
The rman King then said, "It seems like the problem has been solved."
I looked at him with a bitter smile as I thought, "Can you not raise a flag like that?"

There were loud sounds that suddenly ca from all around us.
It seed that we had been completely surrounded without even knowing it. Perhaps it was because we were too invested in the corruption energy, or perhaps it was the ability of whatever had surrounded us that allowed them to hide themselves.
It was unknown how it happened, but it was a fact that we were surrounded.
The royal guards imdiately prepared themselves for a fight after hearing these sounds, but
they were surprised by what they saw.
It wasn't just them that were surprised by this.
All of us were surprised, including Zyra and Puffer.
These two knowledgeable sea witches that had seen all kinds of things were surprised by what surrounded us.
