With the way that they turned to look at the royal guard, there was no need to guess what was about to happen.
The royal guard couldn't help moving back when he saw all of these corrupted sea creatures turn to look in his direction.
He looked like he wanted to go back to the group, but he didn't get to go far before the corrupted sea creatures started moving. It wasn't all of the corrupted sea creatures that moved, just the nearby corrupted sea creatures.
With the way that they moved in a group, it seed like they wanted to surround him and cut off his path of escape.
It seed like they finally took him as a threat and wanted to deal with this threat.
The royal guard was a well trained mber of the royal guard and had good combat skills, so he did what he could against this group of corrupted sea creatures.

Since he wasn't able to destroy the corrupted sea creatures, he was actually being pushed back by the corrupted sea creatures. They were coming closer and closer and the royal guard had no choice but to move back.
It seed that it was only a matter of ti before he was taken down by the corrupted sea creatures.
That was until there were several more tridents that suddenly swept out.
These tridents made quick work of the corrupted sea creatures, cutting them into pieces that were too small to reform quickly. That created a gap for the royal guards that ca out to help to pull the one that was stuck back to the group.
After pulling him back, the leader of the royal guards flashed a look at him that seed to be saying, "You'll get it later."
The royal guard had an awkward look on his face, but he knew that it was his mistake and he accepted this.
After all, to even receive this punishnt, they had to get out of this place first.
Right now, it didn't seem like there was a way to deal with the corrupted sea creatures around them.
The ones that had been cut to pieces when the royal guard was saved were already reforming, so it seed like there was trouble that was about to co.
But it wasn't just them that would be causing trouble.
Slowly, there were other corrupted sea creatures that started to stir.
These corrupted sea creatures had been silently floating there watching the entire thing, but so of them started to move after the royal guards went forward to save their comrade.
It seed like they were about to attack as well.
Only we still hadn't figured out a way to take care of the corrupted sea creatures around us. Unless we had a way to deal with the self healing effect of the corrupted sea creatures, we wouldn't be able to take them down permanently.
All that would happen is that we would waste all of our energy as we were surrounded by these corrupted sea creatures.
That was the main reason why we had just watched that royal guard fight against the corrupted sea creature.
If it was said in a different way, it could even be said that we had used him to test the corrupted sea creatures to see what kind of abilities they had.
Only we really didn't find anything...
"Push them back!" The leader of the royal guards gave this order and the royal guards went forward to stop these corrupted sea creatures.
This ti, half of them went forward to stop them since there were many more corrupted sea creatures that were coming to attack us. Just a few royal guards weren't nearly enough to take down all of these corrupted sea creatures.
The only problem was that they still weren't able to do anything to the corrupted sea creatures.
These corrupted sea creatures just wouldn't die...
"Crack!"
This was the sound of ice suddenly forming.
Puffer finally made a move after watching the corrupted sea creatures for a while.
She threw her potion out at them and it ford ice that froze the parts where they had been
cut.
It seed at first that the ice that ford on the surface of these cuts were enough to keep the corruption energy from spreading out, but that soon changed.
"Crack!"
That was the sound of the ice cracking.
The ice that Puffer had created to stop the corrupted sea creatures from recovering was shattered when the dark tendrils broke through. It seed like the dark tendrils were able to drill through the layer of ice covering it and were reaching towards the other tendrils that had appeared.
The ice wasn't strong enough to stop them.
But at the very least, it seed like the ice was enough to delay their healing a bit which gave the royal guards ti to catch their breath.
The bad news was that once they were able to catch their breath, the attention of more of the corrupted sea creatures were drawn.
It was as if they noticed that their current companions weren't enough to take care of these rman that were here, so they were planning on fighting together.
But what I noticed was that the ice had actually temporarily stopped the tendrils that ca
from the parts of the corrupted sea creatures.
That was more than enough of a clue for .
I turned to the rman King and said, "Send out the streams of water at the ones that they cut
down."
The rman King was surprised to hear this, but he gave a nod before he raised his trident.
