While this was happening, I was leading the rest of the wyverns to the edges of the battlefield. These were places that didn't have the support of the four empires.
These were places where the troops of the other kingdoms were posted.
So that ant that they didn't have the sa trump cards as the four empires to deal with the large demons with corruption energy.
Though there weren't that many of them here in the first place since most of them had been sent to fight the troops of the four empires, there were still so that were here. They were here to break through the human lines and wrap around to attack the troops of the four empires from behind.
If the troops of the other kingdoms couldn't hold on, then that ant that they would be able to completely surround the troops of the four empires.
Of course, it was hard for the troops of the other kingdoms to fight against these large demons with corruption energy since they didn't have a way to deal with the corruption energy.
That was where my group of wyverns ca in.
We were the only ones that actually had the ability to fight against the large demons with corruption energy, so we had to be the ones that took down these large demons.
In short, we had beco a general fixer that patched any holes that appeared in the lines. The situation seed grim at first as the demons were able to overwhelm the human forces to a certain extent with the appearance of these large demons with the corruption energy.
But it soon changed with the move made by the four empires and the patchwork that we did with our flying wyvern squad.
We were able to push back the demons once more and defeat many of the large demons that had appeared.
It wasn't actually that hard since the large demons were actually weaker than the one that we had faced previously when they sent a detached army.
The asura that had been ford previously was made of higher ranking demons, that ant that the asura that was ford was also a higher ranked large demon than these ones. That asura had far more corruption energy in it and was much stronger than these large demons.
Though we did manage to take it down in the end.
As for these ones, they were easily taken care of by the relics that Moon and I had.
The earth tendrils and roots that we created were more than enough to purify these large demons.
In fact, we didn't even need to double up the earth tendrils and roots on these demons. Just using one of them on a single large demon was already enough to take down that large demon without a problem.
In fact, it almost seed like these large demons were a bit too weak with the way that we pushed them back.
They almost couldn't be considered a trump card with how easily they were dealt with.
It was better to say that they were just a kind of gapstop to create space for the demons. Or it could even be said that they were so kind of distraction that was ant to gather the human troops together.
After all, once the large demons with the corruption energy appeared, all of the human troops gathered together to face them.
As soon as I realized this, I couldn't help knitting my brows since it felt that sothing was off.
I quickly looked around the entire battlefield, trying to find what the demons were planning, but I wasn't able to find anything. Or if there was sothing happening, it was just too small for to actually see what was happening.
That was until I suddenly felt sothing through the Staff of Earth.
The Staff of Earth was able to control the ground under us, but it also allowed to sense things in the ground when I tried to move the dirt with the Staff of Earth.
Or rather, it was better to say that I felt resistance when I tried to move the dirt under with the Staff of Earth if there was sothing that was already in the ground.
That thing was giving off a form of resistance that stopped from lifting the dirt up in the form of tendrils.
As for where it was coming from...
It was under the human troops.
"Sothing is coming! Stop attacking and send ssengers to the generals to move their troops back!" I imdiately gave this order and after a few seconds of surprise, Klein and the others quickly went off to follow it.
It was just that it was already too late for that.
There were white hands that suddenly ca out of the ground that grabbed at the humans that were standing above.
These were skeletal hands that suddenly ca out of the ground.
Since they had to dig out of the ground, they didn't have as much mobility and most people were able to avoid them. However, there were so that were distracted by other things that couldn't get out of the way in ti.
Those that were grabbed were imdiately hit with the attacks of the demons and cut down.
However, this didn't just happen in a single area.
This was happening in a wide area under the feet of the human troops.
There were countless skeletal hands that suddenly ca out of the ground like this and
started grabbing at the feet of the human troops.
But at the sa ti, it wasn't just skeletons that ca out of the ground.
There were also zombies and other forms of undead that ca out as well.
Seeing this, I gave another order, "Go! Tell them to withdraw imdiately!" Klein and the others that had frozen from their shock imdiately flew off.
But it was already too late as there were fireballs that suddenly rained down from the sky.
