In the end, all that happened was that this matter was dropped.
Since it was only the general from the Democratic Union that was opposed to this, there was nothing else that could be said.
He had tried to urge the general from the Tide Empire into action, but the general from the Tide Empire didn't seem interested in this matter at all.
So there was nothing that the general from the Democratic Union could do.
Unaware of all of this was .
I was on the frontlines the entire ti, using the Orb of the Dead to control the undead that I had created.
With the experience that I had gained with the Orb of the Dead, it was actually easier than I thought to control these undead. It didn't even take that much mana for to create the undead anymore.
It was completely different from when I first used the Orb of the Dead.
I could still rember how much it took out of to create my first undead, it was like heaven and hell compared to that experience now.
I could tell that I had beco much stronger, though I knew that was also because of the help of the gods. If it wasn't for the Marks of God that they gave and the relics that helped train my mana pool, it would have been impossible for to reach this point.
Of course, it wasn't as if these undead were the only things that I had.
I was just waiting for...
"Neigh!"
There were loud sounds that ca from the lines of the demons that sounded like the cries of horses that were in the middle of a charge.
The demons parted away to reveal a bunch of skeletal horses.
On the back of these skeletal horses were a bunch of armoured knights, but if one looked closely at the helts of the knights, they could see that these weren't normal knights.
There was a bright fla that was burning in the visors of their helts and there were even traces of bones that were sticking out of the slits. At the sa ti, there were skeletal hands that were grabbing the reins of these horses.
These mounted knights weren't normal knights, but rather Death Knights.
They were Death Knights just like the one that had co to attack our kingdom all the way back with the lich.
With how many there were, it was clear that this was so kind of special unit that had been prepared. This was most likely a unit that was only supposed to co out when the situation was bad for them, to be used as a trump card.
So the fact that they ca out now was enough to show that I had presented enough of a threat that they would want to use them.
This was a good sign since it pulled out one of the trump cards of the demons.
But I also knew that it was impossible to deal with these Death Knights unless I pulled out one of my trump cards. It just depended on how big of a trump card I was willing to pull out.
I was in mid thought when I noticed sothing else.
There were five different knights that seed different from the rest of the knights.
That was because these knights were missing their heads.
When I looked closely, I found that these knights were currently holding their heads in their hands.
Dullahans.
These were Dullahans.
Dullahans were a completely different story from the liches and the Death Knights since Dullahans were actually a grade higher than the liches and Death Knights.
Dullahans were considered at the sa level as Elder Liches.
Both of which were at the peak of the S Rank, infinitely close to the SS Rank.
In short, each of them were as strong as the current Joan, so they were very powerful undead monsters.
Five Dullahans were more than enough to be considered a trump card on their own, but to have a whole brigade of Death Knights with them...
It seed that the demons really ca to play.
This was a hard hand to counter unless...
After thinking about it, I decided that it was ti to use one of my big cards...
"It's ti for you to make a move." I said into the Orb of the Dead.
As soon as I said this, there was a dark energy that ca out of the Orb of the Dead and seeped into this ground. Only this ti, it didn't seem to go forward and instead went backwards behind the human lines.
It didn't seem like this reaction from the Orb of the Dead did anything as there was no response at all.
The Death Knights and the Dullahans didn't seem to care at all as they prepared to charge. But then before they could charge, there was a blast that ca from above them.
It was a bunch of wyverns that ca down to rain flas and spells on these Dullahans and Death Knights.
That was the second order that I gave.
But right before these attacks landed, the Death Knight and Dullahans swung their swords up
at them. The air from the slashes were enough to cut through these attacks and scatter them.
As expected of S Rank Monsters...
However, that wasn't the only thing that happened.
The Dullahans made their moves by raising their heads up to point at the wyverns.
It wasn't that they were presenting their head for the wyverns to take, but rather...
Five of the wyverns suddenly seed to freeze as if they had been paralyzed by sothing. Once they froze, they started falling towards the ground as if they just couldn't control
themselves.
In the end, it took several of the other wyverns to support these wyverns to prevent them from falling to the ground like this.
It was the eyes of the Dullahans that did this.
They had a paralysis effect on anything that they cast their gaze on.
The only good thing was that this wasn't sothing that they could use in succession, so
there weren't more wyverns that were hit with it.
As expected, high grade S Rank Monsters really weren't easy to deal with...
