I didn't even have to ask what they ant by this since I recognized the one that ran in.
It was the guard that I had placed outside of Rose's maternity room to inform as soon as her labour started.
We had been watching over her carefully during this ti since she was due any day now and it finally happened.
So there was no hesitation as I jumped out of my chair.
I didn't even care about dismissing all of the ministers that were in the room or what they thought of as I jumped onto the table. In just a few steps, I cut across the room and made my way past the guard.
I rushed out the door with only one thought on my mind.
When I arrived at the maternity ward that we had set up for Rose, I found that everyone was running around which made deeply knit my brows. The way that everyone was running around in a panic like this really made it seem like sothing had happened to her...
But I cald down a bit when I saw that even though they were running around, it seed that everyone was organized. It seed that they all knew what they were doing as they ran around.
So even if it looked like they were in a panic, they were all doing what they had to do.
Still, I couldn't help feeling worried, so I wanted to enter the birthing room.
Only before I could, I was stopped by the people that were posted at the door.
"Your majesty, even if it is you, we cannot allow you in."
The ones that were standing at the door were Rose's most trusted subordinates.
Normally they didn't act up when it ca to , but today it seed like they were planning to go all out against . It was as if they were prepared to risk their lives just to stop from entering the room.
Seeing this, I didn't force my way in.
I knew how loyal these two were, so I knew that they wouldn't do anything to harm her. Seeing that I cald down, they said, "There's nothing for you to worry about your majesty, the labour just began. You can sit down for now, this is a process that will take a while."
I turned back to look at everyone running around before saying, "Then what's the aning of that? Why are they in a panic like that?"
"They are just preparing everything that could be needed. It's better to be prepared than to be not." The two of them said in a calm voice.
A trace of bitterness appeared on my face when I heard this, but it really didn't seem like anything was wrong yet...
"Her majesty just went into labour half an hour again, so we're not even at the risky part yet. Please just wait patiently and do not cause any trouble." The two of them said in a tone that had a trace of command to it.
It really seed like I wouldn't be able to make my way into the birthing room, so I had no choice but to remain out here.
However, it wasn't as if I would be able to calm down just because they told to calm down. The only thing that I could do was walk around in circles outside of the birthing room, though I did move away from the entrance a bit because Rose's subordinates told to move away to not disturb the ones inside.
While I was pacing around, there were others that arrived as well.
The pri minister and chancellor had ditched everything to follow behind .
If it was before, they would have been faster than , but I was now faster than them after having my body buffed by the Fairy Tear.
There were my other wives that appeared as well after they heard the news. Well, that was except for Cecilia and Haley who were also being monitored in their own maternity wards.
The three of them had all gotten pregnant at around the sa ti, so it was only natural that they would be due at around the sa ti. But it was Rose who went into labour first.
The other people that ca were...the ones from the Holy Empire.
"Please co this way." Rose's subordinates said when they saw the group from the Holy Empire.
But I wasn't about to let them in that easily.
"Your majesty, we just ca to escort the priestess. They will be the only ones going in and they will help if necessary." Chris explained before moving aside to show the priestesses that they had gathered.
I could feel the mana fluctuations from them, so I knew that all of them were elite priestesses that should have co with the group of holy knights. The healing magic that they cast should be of the highest class.
"Are you saying that sothing will go wrong?" I asked him in a dark voice.
Chris shook his head before explaining, "We've only brought them just in case. There's nothing wrong with being prepared, right?"
I narrowed my eyes to look at him, but I eventually gave a small nod of agreent and allowed them to bring the priestesses into the room.
But that didn't help calm down.
I was still pacing outside the room as I waited for any news to co from the inside.
However, ti just passed without a single piece of news.
There was sound that ca from the inside and it seed like there was quite a lot that was happening, but the fact that no one ca rushing out looking for help was a good sign.
Ti just passed like this until several hours later...
"Wah, wah, wah!"
Crying ca from inside of the room that made my heart finally drop a bit, but I was still worried.
"Your majesty, your firstborn has been safely delivered." The two subordinates ca out to report this.
