As soon as they heard this, all three of my wives revealed disappointed expressions. I couldn't help knitting my brows seeing them act this way.
After all, it was clear that they were disappointed with the gender of their children.
This certainly wasn't the reaction that I expected from them when I said what the gender of our children was.
At the sa ti, I couldn't help feeling a bit disappointed with them, while also feeling a bit confused.
There was a long mont of silence before Rose said with a sigh, "It's good that they're healthy and regardless of what their gender is, we'll still love them the sa."
Then she turned to look at before saying, "It was just that we were all hoping that they would be sons so that they could act as your heirs for your different titles."
Both Cecilia and Haley nodded in agreent to this.
I couldn't help knitting my brows when I heard this.
Even though this was a world that was equal opportunity because they wanted won in as many different jobs as possible to give the player these different choices, it was different when it ca to the nobility.
Unlike in other places, nobles didn't pass down their titles equally to their children.
It was still males first before females received whatever was left.
They couldn't do a magic fantasy world unless the settings were like this, so that was why nobles just didn't pass on titles to their daughters.
So it wasn't as if I couldn't understand what they were feeling, it was just that I didn't want them to feel this way. I didn't want them to think that they had to give birth to sons just to get anything.
I already told them that I would love our children and them no matter what and I intended to keep that promise.
So I said, "You don't have to worry about anything. Even if they aren't sons, I won't mistreat them. They will receive everything that they should receive regardless of what gender they are."
The three of them looked at with strange looks, but I could tell that they didn't seem to believe .
This was sothing that was deeply rooted in the minds of the people of this ga world, so it wasn't as if they would believe over a few words. For to actually convince them, it would take more than just words.
But it also wasn't sothing that could be done in a single day.
This kind of preconception was sothing that would take a lot of effort to change.
The first step would be...
I turned to look at Angela and said, "Regardless of what gender our child will be, I promise that they will be the heir to my throne as long as they are worthy and willing to take it."
Though it seed like I had added on sothing negative at the end, it was necessary. A child that wasn't born yet, we couldn't tell what kind of person they would beco. The only thing that we could do as adults was guide them on the path we hoped they would take, but there was no guarantee that they developed the way that we wanted them to.
At the sa ti, I couldn't just give the throne over to soone that wasn't qualified, even if they were my child. It was sothing that concerned the future of all the citizens that lived in our country, so I wouldn't be negligent with this.
Then there was the part at the end...
This was more of a selfish thing that I added on at the end since I didn't want to force my child to take the throne if they didn't want to.
I wanted to support my child no matter what they wanted to do as a father, so if they didn't want to take the throne, I didn't want to force it onto them.
That was why I added that final part.
After I made this declaration, they looked at with even stranger looks, but eventually they just said, "Alright, alright, we get it."
The way that they said this made it very clear that they didn't take seriously.
As such, there was only one thing that I could do.
I turned to the pri minister who was playing with one of my daughters and said, "Write up a royal decree this mont for what I just said. I'll sign it right now."
Everyone was shocked when they heard this before Angela ca forward to say, "Calm down, there's no need to be this worked up. We understand what you want to give our children and we're touched by this, but there's no need for this."
After all, a royal decree was not sothing that could be easily taken back.
But even with them trying to convince against this, I didn't back down at all as I said, "Write it up this instant. I want it to be spread to every corner of the kingdom by tomorrow." The pri minister had an awkward look on his face, but eventually he went to get this done. When he brought it back, he and the others all looked at with strange looks.
It was clear that they were still trying to convince to think this over, but I had already made up my mind.
Without a single thought, I signed the royal decree and stamped it, making it a proper royal decree.
Once I signed and stamped it, I said, "Send this to every corner of the kingdom."
The pri minister could only give a slow nod before taking it out of the room.
My wives looked at with strange looks after this happened, but I didn't care about them at
all as I went to play with my daughters.
I wanted to show them how serious I was and I had done that.
Now it was ti to play with my cute newborn daughters.
