It was already the middle of the night, so it wasn’t as if we could bring these wyverns into the capital of the Lockhart Kingdom.
So the only thing that we could do was camp out for now and bring them to the capital in the morning.

During this ti, the brother wyvern tried a few more things to impress Joan.
He went to pick out the biggest deer that the wyverns had hunted and presented it to her. None of the other wyverns stopped him and the teeth marks on the deer matched his teeth, so it was clear that he was the one that hunted this deer.
It was just that after receiving it, Joan passed it over to and the other humans.
The brother wyvern glared at , but he imdiately stopped when he saw the way that Joan glared at him for this.
Still, I could feel the hostility that he had towards because of what Joan did.
The brother wyvern also tried many different other things in an attempt to impress Joan, but all of the things that he did were pushed to . It seed that Joan wasn’t interested at all in the things that the brother wyvern gave her.
Just like this, there was this strange love triangle that ford between , Joan, and the brother wyvern.
Though I really didn’t understand why there was this love triangle that had ford.
In the first place, Joan was a wyvern and I was a human…it wasn’t as if anything was about to happen there. We were just partners, but it wasn’t the kind of partners that went any deeper.
So there shouldn’t be anything deeper to this.
The one that saved in the end was actually the sister wyvern who dragged the brother wyvern away.
Though the sister wyvern was smaller than the brother wyvern, it seed that the brother wyvern couldn’t do anything at all to her. It seed that it completely spoiled her, allowing her to do anything that she wanted.
Just like that, we spent the night in the wild wyvern’s nest.
In the morning, we headed off to the capital of the Lockhart Kingdom.
Before we even landed, we could see all the people that had been gathered.
They were all gathered around the one royal guard that I had sent as a ssenger to tell them of our arrival.
But of course, it wasn’t as if they were here to fight us.
It seed like they had set up an entire welcoming ceremony for us.
This certainly would be strange in any other scenario since humans wouldn’t welco wyverns like this normally. But since they knew that these wyverns were under our control, they naturally weren’t afraid.
There was even a curiosity that seed to fill the crowd when they saw the wyverns.
This was one of the strong points of the human race.
They had a strong curiosity towards unknown things, which made them seek them out. They would be able to find all kinds of different things that would have remained hidden in the world, which made them stronger.
Case in point, the wyverns.
After we landed, there was a group that ca over to greet us.
It was easy to tell who these people were since I was familiar with them. But at the sa ti, there was a person that had a crown on his head that was leading them, so it was hard to mistake them.
It was the king of the Lockhart Kingdom and his ministers.
I jumped off Joan and greeted them before introducing them to the wyverns.
The mont that I did, the eyes of the king and his ministers all lit up.
I didn’t even need to think to guess what had gotten them so excited.
Since we had captured these wild wyverns in their territory, I had already said that I would leave them a few wyverns for them. This was more than enough for them to be filled with excitent.
Of course, it seed like they had misunderstood sothing.
They were looking at Joan and the other wyverns that the royal guards were riding. It was clear that they thought that these were the wyverns that they would be receiving.
Still, I didn’t burst their bubble yet.
I would let them enjoy this excitent for a bit longer since I knew how they felt.
I had felt the sa way when I saw my first wyvern.
Once the excitent died down, the king of the Lockhart Kingdom said, "Your majesty, we’ve prepared a banquet for you at the castle. There are many people that are waiting to et you."
A trace of bitterness appeared on my face when I heard this.
My thoughts were to head back to the Kite Kingdom as soon as possible since I wanted to go back to my daughters, but I knew that I couldn’t do that. If it was a different place, then I would be able to do that.
It was just that the Lockhart Kingdom was a vassal kingdom of our Kite Kingdom, so I couldn’t ignore them that easily.
At the very least, I had to do the least that was required as the king of the Kite Kingdom.
So I had no choice but to head to the castle with the king of the Lockhart Kingdom.
The brother wyvern seed happy to see this since the wyverns couldn’t co with us to the castle since they were just too big. It seed like the brother wyvern was planning on hitting on Joan again.
It was too bad for the brother wyvern that Joan wasn’t interested at all.
When we arrived at the castle, I was surprised to see just how many people had gathered for us.
It seed that every single noble had been gathered at this banquet, which just told that this was going to be a long banquet.
I didn’t expect much from them, but I was surprised by one of them in the end.
