There were worried looks on the faces of the people watching the holy knights and priests fighting against the corruption energy that was spreading.
Though they were on the scene as well, there wasn't a single one of them that was doing anything to help.
It wasn't that they didn't want to help, it was just that they weren't able to do anything to help. Unlike the holy knights and priests, they didn't actually have holy magic and couldn't do anything to the corruption energy.
If they were to actually try to do anything to the corruption energy, they would be causing harm instead of helping.
After all, they would need to be purified with holy magic as well if they were affected by the corruption energy. They just couldn't do that to the holy knights and priests that were working hard to keep the corruption energy at bay.
The king of this Tellis Kingdom had an anxious look on his face before turning around to shout at his n, "Are the reinforcents not here yet? I told you to keep an eye out for them and inform as soon as they arrived!"
Though they were being shouted at, all they could do was reveal bitter looks on their faces.
After all, they too knew how important this matter was and wouldn't slack at all.
It was just that the reinforcents hadn't arrived.
If they weren't here yet, there was nothing that these people could do since they couldn't make them appear out of thin air.
Seeing that no one was saying anything, the king revealed an ugly look before saying, "Go and find out why the reinforcents aren't here yet! Can't you do this one simple thing?"
His subordinates imdiately nodded in agreent and turned to follow this order.
It was just that none of them were even able to take a single step before they heard sothing coming from the sky.

But they didn't give the order in the end since they saw the form of the creature that was above them. And it was because they saw what it was that they didn't do anything in the end.
After all, it was a wyvern that was flying above them.
If it was any other monster, then they wouldn't have this kind of reaction. But since it was a wyvern, they all imdiately thought of one thing.
Since this Tellis Kingdom was one of the vassal kingdoms of the Holy Empire, that ans that they received news from the Holy Empire from ti to ti. One of the news that they received, or rather one of the orders that they received from the Holy Empire was not to ss with the Kite Kingdom.
And the Kite Kingdom was famous for their wyverns, so they knew that this wyvern had to be related to the Kite Kingdom in so way.

They just saw soone step up from the wyvern's head and raise a staff.
The mont that the staff was raised, there was a wall of earth that was created right at the edge of the spreading corruption energy.
The mont that this wall of earth was raised, it was as if the corruption energy suddenly stopped spreading. It seed that the corruption energy reacted to this wall of earth that suddenly appeared like this.
After that, the corruption energy seed to start to gather itself and it stopped expanding completely. It even shrank back as it gathered itself like this.
All of the holy knights and priests were caught off guard when they saw this.
This definitely wasn't sothing that they had been expecting to see…
But that only lasted for a few seconds as they quickly ca back to their senses.
These holy knights and priests were well trained, so they wouldn't allow themselves to be caught off guard like this for long.
Instead, they all knew that this wall of earth was the thing that was causing this. At the sa ti, they could all feel that this wall of earth was sothing that was filled with divine energy.
As holy knights and priests, they were sensitive to things like this.
So they knew that whoever was on the wyvern was their reinforcents.
"Cast your spells around the wall of earth, weaken the corruption energy so it can't do anything to it!"
After that, all of the holy knights and priests that were here didn't hesitate to use all of their holy magic in that area around the wall of earth.
Though it didn't have as much of an effect since the corruption energy had concentrated itself.
That was enough for another wall of earth to appear and another one after that. Those walls of earth quickly spread out and seed to contain the corruption energy inside.
But even though the corruption energy was contained, that didn't an that it was purified yet.
So as they prepared to cast their holy magic to purify it…there was this light that ca from above them.
They saw that there was this mark that appeared on the forehead of the wyvern and light was gathering in its mouth.
Then they saw that there was this fla breath that was released from the wyvern.
