Specifically, it was the demon commanders who had the corruption energy.
They were the ones that had pulled the other demons that were filled with corruption energy towards them, swallowing them into themselves to take their corruption energy for themselves.
That had caused them to turn into large demons that were filled with corruption energy.
Not only did they take the corruption energy that the other demons had, they also took their flesh and incorporated it into themselves.
It was truly a sight that was hard to forget.
I just never expected to see it from this seed of corruption.
When these two seeds of corruption were left alone to their own devices, their first instinct was to actually attack and devour each other.
Both of them were trying to devour the other seed of corruption and they had been weakened enough that it didn't seem like either side was able to gain an advantage. They had both been purified to the point where they were too weak to overwhelm the other seed of corruption.
But it didn't seem like they were going to stop any ti soon.
It almost seed like it was instinct for them to attack and swallow each other. It was as if there was so kind of signal deep down inside of them that was telling them to do this.
"It really seems like their world is quite a ruthless one." I couldn't help muttering to myself when I saw the seeds of corruption acting like this.
Eventually, I started using the ice around the seeds of corruption to purify them again. Of course, I made sure to do it evenly so that both sides lost power at the sa ti, so that neither of the seeds of corruption could overwhelm each other.
Slowly, they had to release each other because they were being purified and just didn't have the power to keep attacking each other like this.
After releasing each other, they were suppressed by the divine ice around them until they went back into a dormant state again.
With the way that the ice suppressed them, it was almost as if they had been put into so kind of cryogenic sleep.
I had no doubt that if I removed the ice, then they would recover their corruption energy and try to devour each other again.
But as I looked at these two seeds of corruption in front of , there was a part of that couldn't help wondering what would happen if they were to devour each other.
Would they just beco stronger, or would they transform into sothing else like the demon commanders had done.
Perhaps this was the way to make the seeds sprout?
Even though I had denied Puffer's request to grow the seeds, that didn't an that I wasn't curious about this. I was also wondering what would happen if these seeds of corruption were to sprout and grow.
After looking at them for a bit, I suddenly waved my hand and the ice weakened.
As soon as the ice weakened, the corruption energy coming from the seeds of corruption grew again and they started to beco active once more. Once they beca active, the seeds of corruption did the sa thing as before as they started to try devouring each other.

"Let give you a hand." I said under my breath before waving my hand again.
As soon as I did, one of the seeds of corruption suddenly started to falter.
That was because I increased the power of the divine ice around it and only it. I was only suppressing one of the seeds of corruption instead of both of them.
With this increased suppression on one of the seeds of corruption, it beca weaker than the other one and eventually it was swallowed by the other seed of corruption.
Once the seed of corruption wrapped the other seed of corruption up in its corruption energy, it suddenly pulled that other seed of corruption over and fused with it.
It seed like it was a waste of ti since the seeds of corruption could have fused at any ti with the way that they were fusing.
"Is it a way to establish who would remain? Do these seeds of corruption actually have consciousness? It must be this for them to do sothing like this, right?" Those were all the questions that were passing through my mind, but it wasn't as if there was anyone that I could ask these questions to.
So in the end, I just silently watched as the seeds of corruption finished combining themselves.
When they combined, it was as I expected.
The newly ford seed of corruption had actually sprouted and released a single sprout with a leaf on it. However, though it seed harmless because it only had a single sprout, the corruption energy that it released was more than double what it released before.
It was just that in the face of divine energy, it couldn't do anything to break out.
"Go to sleep." I said before increasing the ice around it, suppressing the sprouted seed of corruption until it stopped releasing corruption energy. I put it back into cryogenic sleep like this.
After that, I compressed the ice that was around it before sealing it inside of a layer of dirt.
I used this double layer seal to make sure that the sprouted seed of corruption wouldn't be able to do anything to break out.
"They swallow each other to grow…they truly are ruthless." I couldn't help saying to myself after putting the seed of corruption away.
Though I had learned that they were able to assimilate each other to beco stronger, that didn't an that I had learned anything about the corruption energy itself.
I didn't learn anything about what it was or where it ca from.
So it could be said that this was a bit of a failure.
"Perhaps if I gather more, I'll be able to find sothing." That dangerous thought filled my mind.
