The mont that the sword was stabbed into the cloaked figure's chest, there was a burst of dark energy that appeared.
This was the corruption energy that had been coming from the sword, but it seed like it was even stronger than before.

Eventually, the cloaked figure was completely engulfed in this corruption energy. Even the horse that the cloaked figure had been riding was also engulfed by the corruption energy.
After being engulfed, that corruption energy seed to take the form of a sphere.
With the way that it was surrounding the cloaked figure, it seed like so kind of egg.
Then there were cracks that ford on the surface of the sphere and it seed to open. It didn't take long for the thing that was inside of this sphere to appear.
So in a sense, it was sort of like an egg.
The thing that appeared was a strange thing that was completely pitch black.
It seed to be so kind of humanoid, but its skin also seed to be made of the corruption energy. With the way that the corruption energy hugged this thing, it was almost as if it was the source of the corruption energy.
Well, that was what the one that called himself the Apostle of Destruction had intended to summon.
"I've been summoned to the mortal world?"
Those were the first words that ca out of the black humanoid's mouth.
Then all of a sudden, it started looking around itself as if it was looking for sothing.

The mont that these eyes fell onto , there was a powerful chill that ran down my spine. It was as if I was close to death just by having the eyes of this thing on .
At the sa ti, I could see that there was an endless abyss inside of the thing's eyes.
They were as dark as the deepest night and seed to contain nothing and everything at the sa ti. Just by looking at it, one would feel like they were falling into so kind of abyss that was hard to pull themselves out of.
It felt like losing a part of themselves and if they lost too much of this, they would beco completely empty.
Only, it didn't seem that easy to pull oneself out of this gaze either.
Eventually, I was released when that thing said, "It seems like we et again. The one that destroyed my piece last ti, you are also standing in my way this ti?"
When it said this, I couldn't help feeling that this voice was familiar…
It was the voice that I had heard when I took down the demon king, the one that had been controlling the demon king as so kind of puppet.
"What do you want?" I had to say this through gritted teeth.
The pressure that was coming from this thing was just too much to face head on.
I could feel sothing coming from my hand that was helping resist this pressure.
If it wasn't for the thing that was coming from the Mark of God, then I really wouldn't have been able to resist the pressure coming from this thing.
"What do I want? Why don't you guess? Are you not going to act the sa way as before?" The black humanoid almost seed like it was taunting when it said this.
I deeply knitted my brows hearing this, but I didn't say anything as I waited for it to say anything else.
Seeing that I didn't respond, the black humanoid gave a disappointed sigh before saying, "You could at least try to act tough, then it would be more interesting."
In the end, it said, "Well, since I'm here, I might as well destroy all of you then. If you disappear, then the plan of the gods will fail."
"Si!" All of us took a cold breath because we could feel the sudden threat coming from this thing.
That was because after it said this, it suddenly raised its hand and gathered a ball of dark corruption energy. This seed like a simple ball, but the aura that it was giving off was completely different from anything that we had faced before.
With the aura that this thing released, it seed like it was impossible for us to take this.
But it didn't seem like the black humanoid was actually interested in shooting this off after gathering the corruption energy like this. Even though we couldn't do anything against the ball of dark corruption energy, it just held it in its hand as it looked at us.
It almost seed like this black humanoid was thinking sothing as it looked at us.
Seeing this, I gave signals to Klein and the others to run.
It was just that none of them seed like they registered the signals that I gave them. All of them seed like they were completely dazed because of the pressure that was coming from the ball of corruption energy.
It didn't seem like they would be able to move at all.
"You know, it would be easy for to wipe you all out, but what would be the fun in that? If I were to do this, do you think that it would all end? If it ends, then what would I do for fun?" The black humanoid suddenly said this to my surprise.
I looked at the black humanoid with a strange look before saying, "Then go back and wait for us to reach your level. If you wait, we'll give you all the fun that you want."
The black humanoid nodded as if it was considering it, but then it suddenly brought its hand down and pointed the orb of corruption energy at us to say, "But it also seems like a bunch of work. It's easier just to wipe you all out."
