Though I was in a rush to go back, it wasn't as if I could rush us this ti.
With how much of a rush we had been in to get the Relic of Destruction and to get it back to the Holy Empire, I knew that everyone in our group was already exhausted.
If I pushed them even harder, there was no doubt that they would all collapse.
Especially Joan who had been pushing herself hard.
She was the one that had continued to breathe those flas filled with divine energy into the ruins. That had taken a lot of energy out of her and she had been very exhausted by the end of it.
It was barely enough rest during our ti at the Democratic Union. She was only able to move, but she wasn't able to use much of her powers after that experience.
She would still need more rest if she wanted to recover her strength.
So I just couldn't push them even if I wanted to reach our kingdom as soon as possible.
The other thing that I did during this ti was send a ssage back to the Kite Kingdom.
Normally, this would be sothing that I would forget to do, but I didn't forget it this ti. Though I knew what kind of reaction they would have once they read the ssage that I sent back.
There was no doubt that they would have so choice words for even if I rembered to send a ssage back this ti.
Still, perhaps it would be better than if I sent no ssage at all.
Only when we arrived back at the Kite Kingdom, I found that this wasn't the case.
There was the pri minister and the chancellor waiting for us, but the looks on their faces made it very clear what they were thinking. At the sa ti, with the people that they brought with them…
It was as if they were here to arrest .
Though I knew that they weren't actually here to arrest , they were just here to make sure that I didn't escape.
I had seen them act this way many tis before that I already knew what they were doing.
I just went along with them as they surrounded with soldiers.
During this ti, the pri minister and chancellor went forward to greet the saintess and Aisha, the high elf.
I could tell that the two of them were surprised by the fact that the saintess and a high elf were here. At the sa ti, I knew that by the way that they looked at Aisha, they knew who she was.
They should since I had already sent a letter stating her identity to them.
So the surprise that they felt was actually just surprise that Aisha was really Moon's mother.
With the pri minister and the chancellor leading the way, it didn't take long before we arrived back at the castle.
In the castle were my wives waiting for us.
Though there was one that was missing.
It was Moon.
She wasn't with the rest of my wives and it seed that she had completely disappeared from the castle.
I learned later that it was because she had returned to the elven village. When I learned this, I couldn't say that I was actually surprised by her decision to return to the elven village.
I even knew exactly what she was feeling when she chose to return.
It was hard to face this mother of hers that she hadn't seen in a long ti, I was sure that she would need to prepare herself for when it happened.
I guess I would have to take a trip to the village with Aisha soti.
As for the rest of my wives, they all just greeted the saintess and Aisha normally.
Though following that, it seed that there was a bit of awkwardness between Aisha and them. It seed that they were strangely wary of Aisha, as if there was sothing about her that made them cautious.
It wasn't hard to guess what they were thinking as they looked at Aisha.
Since Moon was also my wife, Aisha was their mother in law as well since they were my wives.
It was just that Aisha didn't seem to care about any of this.
Aisha just walked around the castle as if she was interested in human society.
At the sa ti, she went to see my children and said, "None of them seem that special. Are you sure that they're yours?"
The mothers were naturally a bit angry when they heard this, but they cald themselves down because of Aisha's identity. The other thing that cald them down was what the saintess offered them.
"How about I do the baptism for them?"
They were naturally happy to hear this since this was a baptism from the saintess herself.
There was no doubt that this would be a very aningful thing for our children.
I would have thanked the saintess if not for the look that she gave after making this promise. It was clear what she was saying with this look that I didn't know what to say in response.
Still, I just left this matter to her before guiding Aisha around.
Even if she did have a very free personality, she was still my mother in law.
So at the very least, I had to take care of her before bringing her to the elven village.
Though the way that she acted around made my wives look at with strange looks.
It was almost as if they were accusing of sothing.
The only thing that I could think was…
"I'm innocent…This is my mother in law, would I really do sothing to her?"
And even though I tried to convey this with my eyes, it didn't seem like any of them were actually interested in hearing out.
At the sa ti, what happened next in the elven village was even more shocking…
