"So why are you coming along with ?"
This question was directed at Aisha who was sitting on one of the wyverns on the side.
She acted as if she didn't hear at first, but then she turned back to say, "I'm interested in the Relic of Destruction. Even if I've seen one before, I'm curious what the next one will be like. After all, I spent all that ti in those ruins, so I want to see things through at the very least."
Though it sounded reasonable, the smile on her face really made it hard for to believe this.
The way that she said this was almost as if she was implying sothing that only I would understand.
It wasn't hard to guess why she was actually doing this.
After all, there was what happened last ti in the elven village. Even without that, the things that Aisha had been doing during this ti was more than enough to show that she hadn't given up.
But the one thing that was hard to accept was…
"Did you really have to bring her along as well?"
The one that I was referring to was Moon who was sitting on the wyvern with Aisha.
It was actually Moon who was controlling the flight path of the wyvern. The wyvern that they were on was the one that Moon bonded with.
In fact, it seed like that wyvern was quite happy to be flying right now.
That was because during this ti, that wyvern hadn't really gotten to fly around much.
Though we gave the option to the wyvern to go with soone else during this ti, it didn't seem like it was an option that the wyvern could accept that easily. It seed like it was insistent on only being with Moon.
This wasn't a bad thing, but that ant that the wyvern hadn't been able to get out since Moon was pregnant.
Since she was pregnant, she started taking things easier than before.
Now Aisha even dragged her out like this.
However, Aisha didn't seed fazed at all when she heard this question from .
Instead, she just calmly said back to , "What is wrong with wanting to spend a bit more ti with my daughter?"
I knitted my brows when I heard this, but she stopped before I could say anything else.
"Not to ntion you're completely smothering her in the first place. I know that she's a good girl and she doesn't want to worry you, but you have to know that elves aren't as simple as that. We elves aren't as fragile as you humans during our pregnancies."
I knitted my brows even more when I heard this, but I wasn't looking at Aisha anymore.
Instead, I turned to look at Moon with an inquisitive look.
I was waiting for her to confirm if this was true or not.
Moon had been awkwardly looking away at first, but when Aisha tapped her…
After slowly turning to look at , she gave a small nod to show that this was indeed the case.
I couldn't help revealing a trace of bitterness in my eyes after seeing this.
I thought that I had built enough trust with Moon that she would be able to tell these things herself, but it seed that it wasn't what I thought.
When Moon saw this, she imdiately said, "It's not that, it's just that I didn't want you to worry about . You should know that things are different between humans and elves, but since I'm living with humans…"
"That doesn't matter." I cut her off with this.
Moon looked at with a surprised look when she heard this, but I continued by saying, "No matter what the situation is, I just hope that you'll be honest with ."
There was a complicated look that appeared on Moon's face when she heard this.
But in the end, she still gave a small nod before turning her head away.
I didn't feel relieved seeing this, I just shook my head and gave a defeated sigh before turning to Aisha to say, "You can co along, but you're not going into the ruins with us."
Aisha slightly knitted her brows as if she was about to complain, but I didn't let her say anything as I said, "You ca to help Moon, then you're staying with her. It's fine for her to co and get so fresh air, but there's no way that she'll be coming into the ruins with us since it's too dangerous for her."
Aisha opened her mouth, but no words ca out in the end.
She could only close her mouth since we were still flying high up in the air at speeds that were considered very fast.
There was no windshield or anything in this world, so it wasn't as if there was anything that was stopping the wind.
Once she was like this, I decided that it was better not to argue with her anymore.
If I were to argue with her, the only thing that would happen is that I would feel more inclined to argue with her and that wasn't always a good thing.
There were two sides to an argunt and she could always turn things around on if I gave her that chance.

This place really was in the middle of nowhere, but it was the place that the gods had told about. This was also the place where the scouting teams of the Holy Empire had found the entrance to the ruins.

To even co to this place, it took us several days of flying.
There wasn't even a place for us to sleep properly.
I wouldn't have minded if it was just us alone, but since Moon was coming along…
