I slowly gave a nod in response to this while looking closely at Aisha's face, waiting to see how she would react to this.
Aisha didn't show much of a reaction other than to raise her brow to look at as if she was still trying to figure out if I was being serious or not.
But I didn't say anything as I waited for a reaction from her.
There was a long silence that hung there in the air as she silently looked at like this.
Eventually, she said, "Just what are you planning to do?"
I looked right into her eyes as I said, "Before I answer that question, I just want to know if you want to beco the ruler or not."
"I've never thought about it and I'll be honest, it's not sothing that I particularly want to do. However, I'm sure that you have your reason for bringing this up, so I'm willing to listen." Aisha said in a calm voice.
I looked at her for a bit before slowly nodding and telling her what I knew.
While I didn't have any hope, at least her answer didn't seem like she was completely against this.
At the very least, it seed that she was willing to listen.
In that case, I told her everything that Vivrum and the High Priestess told .
When I was done, I just waited to see how Aisha would react.
It was just that there was no expression that was on Aisha's face as she looked at . It was as if she hadn't reacted at all to what I had just told her.
"Are you alright?" I couldn't help asking, but there was no response that followed as she just stared right back at .
I had no idea what was going on in her mind since there was no expression on her face to read, but I waited to see what she would say.
It was only after a long silence that Aisha finally asked, "This was sothing that Lady Vivrum asked you to do?"
I slowly nodded without saying anything as I kept staring at her face, waiting for so kind of reaction from her.
Only it didn't seem like there was any reaction as she fell into expressionlessness once more. She just stared at as if she was thinking about sothing, as if there were many thoughts that were racing through her mind.
Another long silence passed before she finally said, "While I don't like this kingdom anymore after what they have done to …If it is Lady Vivrum's will…Then I believe that I can go along with it."
I couldn't help raising a brow and looking at Aisha with a strange look after hearing this.
I had to look at her carefully to make sure that she was really alright with this, but it seed like she had made up her mind based on the look that was on her face.
At the very least, it really seed like she knew what she was talking about.
Still, I had to ask, "Becoming a ruler isn't that easy…If you do beco the ruler of the Elven Kingdom, you should know that you'll be tied down by that title."
There was a faint smile that appeared on Aisha's face when she heard this.
With the way that she looked at as she spoke, it was as if she wasn't bothered by this at all. At the sa ti, she said, "I have a solution, so you don't have to worry."
"Huh?" I couldn't help saying in a confused voice when I heard this since I had no idea what she ant by this.
It was just that with the smile that was on her face, it really didn't seem like she was going to tell anything.
Still, there was sothing that I had to ask her.
Or I would have asked her sothing if it wasn't for the fact that she cut off before I could say anything.
With a serious look on her face, Aisha looked right at to say, "If I really want to end this, then this is what I have to do."
I imdiately swallowed the words that had been halfway out of my mouth as I looked at her with a strange look. However, that strange look slowly disappeared from my face as I could see the determination that was on her face.
I thought that I had been looking out for her, but in the first place…
She had already long made up her mind.
Even if I wanted to say sothing, it wasn't as if it would have had any use.
At the sa ti, it wasn't as if saying anything was actually good for her.
She had made up her mind to face this, the best way to help her was actually to support her in this and help her see this through.
After swallowing my words, I gave a simple nod before asking, "Is there anything that you need from ?"
Aisha looked right at before slowly revealing a smile.
I couldn't help feeling that there was sothing wrong about the way that she looked at with this smile, it was just that I couldn't tell what was wrong. It was just this general feeling of discomfort that filled when she looked at like this.
In the end, I couldn't help asking, "What is it?"
Aisha slowly said with the sa smile on her face, "It's nothing. It's just that there's a small thing that I need your help with before everything happens."
Though she said that it was a 'small' favour, there was a part of that didn't seem to believe this with the look that was on her face.
It really seed like there were so ulterior motives behind her words…
But since I had already offered, the only thing that I could do was do this small favour for her.
