Once the elf priest’s hand ca down, the assassins ca forward with their weapons raised.
But even seeing that, I didn’t panic.
All that happened was that I took out a small branch.
The mont that this branch ca out, the expressions on the faces of the ones around all changed.
After all, they could feel the aura that was coming from this branch.
It was a familiar aura, but more importantly…it was a powerful one.
"Where did you get that?" The elf priest asked in a shocked voice.
With a teasing smile, I said, "I have no reason to answer that question."
All of the elves knitted their brows when they heard this before looking at as if they were unhappy, but I didn’t care about any of that.
All I did was wave the branch that was in my hand.
When the elves saw this, they all took a step back and prepared themselves for what was coming. It was just that none of them were actually able to avoid the attack that ca at them.
In fact, they did not expect this because there shouldn’t have been these things here in the first place.
There were vines that suddenly ca out of the ground and grabbed their feet. By the ti that they reacted to this, the vines had already completely wrapped around their feet and they weren’t able to move.
Of course it wasn’t strange that they didn’t expect this.
After all, this was sothing that only those that had heard it from Vivrum knew.
This was the secret weapon that was used to take care of the Elven King and the high elves.
The very roots and vines of the Tree of Life sneaking into the stone castle. Other than the roots and vines of the Tree of Life, normal roots and vines wouldn’t have been able to penetrate the thick stone of the castle.
As for the branch that was in my hand, this was a branch from the Tree of Life.
It resonated with the roots and vines hidden in the castle to draw them out for my use.
The fact that this elf was wearing this priest outfit ant that they knew about our plans, but since they didn’t know about the roots and vines of the Tree of Life, it ant that they didn’t know everything.
Whoever it was that was behind these elves had been planning to use this gap to take care of .
There were a few candidates that went through my mind.
Even the High Priestess was a candidate, but I eliminated that thought in the end.
After all, if it was the High Priestess, that would an that even Vivrum was a candidate.
That was a thought that was just too terrifying.
So instead of thinking too much about this, I decided that it was better for to get information from the source instead of creating problems for myself.
After this brief interlude of thoughts, I turned my attention back to the elven assassins that I had captured.
The reason I was able to fall into this daze was because the vines had been moving on their own. Even without guiding them, the vines were wrapping themselves around the elves on their own.
The elves did try to fight back, but it wasn’t as if there was much that they could do.
The vines were strong enough to penetrate stone and they were vines that ca from the Tree of Life.
It was impossible for them to break these thick and powerful vines that easily, so they could only allow themselves to be caught by the vines.
It didn’t take long for all of the elves to be completely surrounded by these vines and held up.
"Now, tell who sent you." I said in a cold voice as I looked at the elves.
The elves seed a bit surprised to hear speaking in this cold voice.
It seed that until now, they had looked down on . It seed that until now, they thought that this would be an easy mission for them.
It was just too bad for them that I was completely different from before.
I was no longer the sa weak and fragile human that I was in the past.
However, it didn’t seem like any of the elves were planning to talk.
With the way that they looked at , it was clear that they would never say anything even if they were beaten to death.
This was of course expected since it wasn’t as if they would be intimidated by that easily.
I could even see that they had other things on their mind based on the way that their eyes kept moving.
It was clear that they hadn’t given up, they were still trying to find a way out of this.
The problem was that I really didn’t have the ti to slowly get information from them.
There was still an entire coup happening behind the scenes.

"Tell what you know before you won’t have a chance to regret it."
The elves were once again surprised to hear this, but they had a much firr look on their faces this ti. They didn’t seem like they were scared of at all, but that was to be expected.
With my appearance, it wasn’t as if they would feel threatened by .
So that was why I pulled out a button and created a few ice sculptures that floated there in the air.
The elves revealed strange looks when they saw these things.
It didn’t seem like they understood what these things were, but they were at least able to see that there was sothing strange about them.
Or at least where they were placed.
After all, all of these ice sculptures were floating right behind them, where their butts were.
"One last chance." I said in a cold voice to all of them.
The elves still didn’t say a single thing.
