That was because it felt like an understatent.

If I thought about it, it was only natural that they would be passionate about magic since it was the one thing that they had relied on to create a place in this world for themselve.

If it wasn't for their magic, then they really wouldn't have anything to rely on to create this Sorcery Empire.

So it wasn't strange that they would be this passionate.

Once the introductions had been made, it seed like the sea witches were slowly coming out of their shell and they started looking around their surroundings.

This was only the border of the Sorcery Empire, but there were still quite a few things that were here.

Then those that had a deeper understanding of magic could tell that there was sothing that was connecting the different pillars that were here. It seed like there was sothing that brought all of these pillars together as a whole.

I was one of those people that could see through this after my lessons in magic from Aisha.

As a mber of the human race, it was only natural that I had heard a thing or two about the special things that the Sorcery Empire contained.

Though he put it like this, I could tell from the look on his face that he wasn't saying that they weren't actually able to raise this barrier.

In fact, it seed that even if it cost them an arm and a leg as he put it, he seed confident that they would be able to raise it several tis.

That was just how much of a foundation the Sorcery Empire, one of the four empires of the human race, had. It would be hard for soone to try and take down this Sorcery Empire.

But after saying this, the Azure Sage turned our attention to so of the different things.

Even the carriages that they prepared for us were special magic carriages that didn't need anything to carry them. It seed like they were similar to the cars that were found in the Democratic Union, but it was different in that it ran on a different kind of magic.

Instead of just using mana as the propulsion force, it used actual magic to move the carriage.

It was just too bad that we didn't actually ride in them.

Even if I wanted to, it wasn't as if I could just abandon Joan to ride in the carriage.

So I suggested that the sea witches ride in them while we followed behind on the wyverns.

The mont that the Azure Sage heard this, he imdiately agreed to this.

In fact, it even seed like he was a bit too excited about this that I couldn't help feeling suspicious about it. But since this was the only way that they would allow us to fly our wyverns in, I could only apologize to the sea witches in my heart.

It was too bad that this turned out to be the wrong choice.

When we arrived, I went down to find that the Azure Sage was covered in a layer of ice.

I didn't even need to ask to know where that ice ca from since there was only one person that I had seen do sothing like this.

I looked at Puffer who just stood there calmly.

The look on her face made it seem like she didn't do anything wrong.

And between the Azure Sage that I just t today and Puffer that I had known for a while now, I was more inclined to trust Puffer. I believed that she would have a good reason for doing sothing like this.

"They're underaged, so I guess we should call the police? But would they actually arrest a sage?"

"A misunderstanding, it's all a misunderstanding." The Azure Sage quickly said this.

After all, this wasn't sothing that could be joked about.

The Azure Sage was a middle aged man and so of the sea witches were indeed underaged.

I didn't listen to him as I looked at Puffer and she slowly gave a nod before saying, "It's not like that. It's just that I've learned for the first ti what I sound like to others."

I was a bit surprised to hear this, but it didn't take long for to figure out what she ant by this.

When Puffer got into her research mode, she wouldn't have an interest in things that were unrelated to her research. As such, she could get a bit too invested in what she was researching without caring about anything else.

The Azure Sage said with an awkward smile, "Like I said before, my magic research is similar to what these young ladies study, so I was just interested in sharing a bit of knowledge with them."
