Since this was only a training session, it wasn't as if it was a serious fight.
That ant that there were safety asures that had to be put in place before we could start the training session.
The teacher was called over to watch since he would be responsible for stepping in if anything went wrong.
Though the teacher did have a strange look when he heard what was happening.
He looked at as if he was questioning if I knew what I was doing, but I just gave a simple nod in response.
It was a good chance to test how strong I really was, so it wasn't as if I was going to turn it down.
Only it seed like he was still worried because the older students had surrounded .
They had fallen for the provocation of the kids and decided to face all together.
I didn't mind since I was certain that I would be able to protect myself, but it seed that the teacher wasn't as certain.
So in the end, I had to say sothing to convince him.
"It'll be fine, they can't do anything to ."
The older students seed to take this as provocation and they looked even angrier after hearing this.
I knew that they would act this way, but I had done it on purpose.
I wanted to see how strong I was, so it was best if they went all out.
Seeing that things had developed to this point, the teacher just gave a nod and approved of the training. But at the sa ti, he took out his staff and raised it as if he was prepared to act at any mont.
The way that he looked at was almost as if he thought that I was causing trouble for him.
All I could do was apologize internally while waiting for the older students to make their move.
Once they saw that the teacher approved of this, they didn't waste any ti in gathering their mana.
As they were older than the kids, they were naturally more skilled than the kids.
They had more experience in fighting with magic and knew that it wasn't just about using the biggest spells to end the fight as soon as possible.
Instead, the first thing that they did was create barriers around themselves while using lower tier spells. While the lower tier spells didn't have the sa power as the big spells, they were good for distraction and disruption.
They would be used to test the enemy and make sure that they couldn't gain montum to use any big attacks.
This was the sa thing that I had done against the kids.
A faint smile appeared on my lips when I saw them do this, but it wasn't as if I didn't know how to counter it.
I did the sa thing as them where I released a barrier.
It was my first ti using a barrier like this, but I learned the principle earlier in class.
Only the barrier that I created…
"Is that a barrier?"
"Why can't I see him at all?"
"Why is it so solid?"
The barrier that I created was different from a normal barrier in that it wasn't thin and see through. It was so thick that it almost completely obscured all vision of from the people on the other side.
But the older students didn't back down when they saw this.
"It has to be so kind of trick. He's just wasting his mana like this."
As soon as they ca to this conclusion, they didn't waste any ti in sending attacks from all different directions.
They knew that since they had the numbers advantage, it would be best for them to make use of this by attacking from different angles.
Only the mont that their spells ca in contact with the barrier that I had around , they were all scattered without a trace. It was as if they had been blown away by the power that was inside of the barrier.
"It didn't have any effect at all?" The older students said in a dazed voice.
Only they couldn't remain dazed as they saw that there were spells coming at them.
They had confidence in their barriers as they raised them to block these spells, but those confident looks soon disappeared.
There was a fireball that burned through every barrier that it touched, there was a stone bullet that shattered all the barriers it made contact with, there was a water spike that pierced through the barrier it hit.
In short, none of the barriers had any effect as these spells that I cast cut through all of them.
The only reason that the older students hadn't been hurt was because the teacher had acted in ti.
If it wasn't for the teacher raising barriers in front of them, then they would have been seriously injured by these spells.
From where I was standing, I could tell that the teacher had done this not with his own power. What he used was the power of the training room that we were standing in which had been equipped with barrier magic.
It was just like how the classroom had been applied with spatial magic.
The older students all fell down on their butts in shock after seeing what happened.
There wasn't a single one of them that was able to react to the fact that they had almost died.
All of them just looked at with dazed looks of shock, as if they couldn't believe what I had done.
But that silence was broken by the kids who started cheering for .
Hearing this, I couldn't help looking at them and waving at them with an awkward smile.
After they cheered for a while, the older students finally ca back to their senses and started to approach with strange looks on their faces.
I didn't know what they were planning to do.
