With Joan's fla breath clearing the corruption energy out, it didn't take long before it was restrained.
Once that happened, Ariel ca forward to create a mist that suppressed the corruption energy once more.
Seeing this, the group from the Holy Empire let out a sigh of relief since they had been about to be overwheld by this corruption energy. But now it seed that soone had co to save and reinforce them.
When the wyverns landed, they imdiately ca forward to greet .

All of them had enthusiastic and respectful voices which made it clear that they knew who I was.
But it did make a bitter smile appear on my face to hear this.
After all, these were holy knights and priests from the Holy Empire. As the king of a separate nation, it was strange that they would address like this.
Still, I didn't let myself be distracted by this since there was sothing that was more important to handle right now.
"Tell what happened here."
The leader of the holy knights and the high priest nodded in agreent before leading the way to a tent that they had set up as their headquarters.
But once we arrived, they stopped the others from following us in.
I would have said sothing, but I could tell that whatever we were about to discuss was important. So in the end, I asked the others to wait outside for .
"Holy Son, as you have requested, we have been searching for the Relics of Destruction and stumbled upon this place." Once the leader of the holy knights said this, he started going into detail about the different things that they encountered since coming here to search.
As he went through this story, I listened carefully to see if there was anything off about what he said. However, it didn't seem like it was that special of a story since he was just describing how they searched for the ruins.
"In the end, we only found this place because of a sudden surge of corruption energy that brought our attention here."
The mont that he said this, I couldn't help knitting my brows and asking, "So you're saying that this corruption energy appeared before you went into the ruins? You're saying that it was the corruption energy that appeared that drew you to this place?"
The leader of the holy knights gave a heavy nod.
That just made knit my brows deeper.
If they found this place on their own and the corruption energy appeared after that, then it would be fine.
But for the corruption energy to appear first was a problem.
This ant that sothing had happened inside of the ruins that had caused this corruption energy to appear. For sothing to happen inside of this place, it ant that the forces of Destruction weren't far behind.
"What else have you found? Don't bother telling the entire story, just give the key details." I said in a serious voice.
The leader of the holy knights nodded before giving a look to the head priest.
The head priest nodded in response before leaving the tent.
When he ca back, there was a sack that was in his hands that he dragged into the tent. He brought this sack all the way in front of and slowly opened the top of the sack.
The mont that he did, there was a head that poked out.
But before this head could do anything, the head priest imdiately closed the opening of the sack so that only the head could co out. The rope that closed the sack was closed around the neck of this thing and stopped it from coming out.
Though only the head ca out, that was more than enough for to see what kind of strange thing this was.
However, there was a strange look on my face as I looked at this creature.
That was because this creature seed strangely familiar.
It was as if I had seen it sowhere before and I knew exactly where it was since it was hard to mistake it.
"Oi, isn't this copyright infringent? This is clearly from a different ga!"
This was a creature that was completely black in nature and almost seed like a bug, but it was also a creature that walked on two legs.
It was from a ga that had a plot about stopping the forces of darkness and a main character that had a blade that was shaped like a key…
Since it was from a different ga, there was no way that the ga that this world was based on should have had access to this design. If they had actually done sothing like this, then they would have been sued by that other company and that other company was no joke.
So what were these creatures doing here?
"Where did you find this thing?"
"It ca from inside the ruins. It was one of the things that ca out when we first approached the ruins."
"Why did you keep it in this sack then?"
The leader of the holy knights and the high priests revealed bitter smiles when they heard this. However, instead of explaining why they did this, they picked sothing up from the side and tossed it at this thing.
This thing bit down on this piece of wood that was thrown and it imdiately started to turn black.
It seed that this thing was made of corruption energy with the way that it spread it.
"The sack is made of special holy material that seems to work on restraining the corruption energy." The leader of the holy knights explained.
So that explained the sack, but that still didn't explain what this creature was.
However, I could tell that they had no explanation for this either based on the looks on their faces.
Instead of asking them what this creature was, it was better to dive into the ruins myself to see what I could find.
At the sa ti, it wasn't as if the forces of Destruction in the ruins were just going to wait for us.
