I thought that once the Apostle of Destruction was trapped, it would try to find a way to save its life.

But it turned out that I was completely wrong.

Instead of answering the question in a way that I had expected it to, the Apostle of Destruction suddenly started to laugh. It was clear that this Apostle of Destruction was laughing at rather than laughing for the sake of laughing.

It was clear that it was laughing at the fact that I expected it to say sothing.

Before I could even react to what was happening, it suddenly seed to swell up.

The earth spikes that had been around the Apostle of Destruction broke down and the divine energy earth that made up those spikes surrounded it. The divine energy earth that broke down wrapped all around the Apostle of Destruction before creating a ball of divine energy earth around it.

This was a complete ball that sealed the Apostle of Destruction in two layers, one of divine energy ice and divine energy earth.

Even then, I didn't feel assured, so I looked at Ariel and Joan.

The two of them understood at once and did the sa thing as .

There was a layer of mist and a layer of flas that appeared around the ball.

However, the layer of mist and layer of flas didn't really seem as powerful as the layer of earth and ice.

In the end, the layer of ice and earth weren't even broken.

There was a sound that ca from inside of the ball that made it clear that there was so kind of explosion that happened, but it didn't seem like the explosion that happened inside of the ball was strong enough to break it.

It seed that the explosion that the Apostle of Destruction created was just too weak to break free.

However, I didn't release this ball even though it seed like it was over.

I closed my eyes and focused on what was inside of the ball before finally opening it up.

There were pieces of the cloak that the Apostle of Destruction wore, but the Apostle of Destruction completely disappeared without a trace. It really seed like the Apostle of Destruction had blown themselves up.

This kind of fanaticism really was sothing…

But it only made sense that they were this devoted to the God of Destruction since they were an apostle.

It would most likely be the sa for one of the popes or archbishops of the churches.

The problem was that since the Apostle of Destruction had blown itself up, we didn't actually know how to handle the Relic of Destruction that had its seal weakened.

Even though the Apostle of Destruction had blown itself up, whatever was weakening the seal hadn't disappeared. It seed that whatever it was that weakening the seal hadn't been dispelled because the Apostle of Destruction was gone.

It really seed like at this rate, it was only a matter of ti before the seal on the Relic of Destruction broke.

If it broke just like that, there was no telling what would happen.

So I had to figure out a way to seal it again…or at least stop whatever was breaking the seal and preserve what was left.

Tossing the pieces that remained from the Apostle of Destruction aside, I went towards the Relic of Destruction.

But the mont that I did, there was a wave of corruption energy that ca from the Relic of Destruction. It was aid only at who was approaching the Relic of Destruction, as if this was so kind of self defense chanism.

It seed that the Relic of Destruction was stopping anyone from getting close to it until it broke its seal.

Before I could do anything though, there was a wave of flas that ca from behind . These flas went right past and hit the wave of corruption energy head on and stalled it.

It wasn't enough to completely purify the corruption energy, but it was enough to stop it to give a chance to do sothing.

I didn't waste any ti in raising the Staff of Earth to send out earth spikes.

These earth spikes blew through this wave of corruption energy and landed around the Relic of Destruction. After landing, the sa thing happened where the earth spikes embedded themselves into the ground in a circle around the Relic of Destruction.

They created another cage around the Relic of Destruction to prevent it from doing anything else.

With this cage created, the corruption energy stopped leaking out of the Relic of Destruction.

The remaining bit of corruption energy that was still left was cleared out by Ariel and Joan.

Before approaching it again, I said to the others, "Clear out this area and keep them away from the Relic of Destruction. I'll figure out a way to deal with it."

As soon as they heard this, the holy knights, priests, and royal guards all spread out in different directions to deal with the remaining corruption energy around us.

It was only Joan and Ariel who remained by my side just in case sothing happened.

Though I said that I would deal with this Relic of Destruction, I really had no idea what I would do about it.
