Solista didn't say anything when I asked this question.
She just stood there awkwardly as if she didn't know what to say.
But I could tell that it seed like she had already co to a conclusion, it was just that she didn't know how to put it into words.
So with a sigh, I said, "Just tell . It's not as if I'm that fragile."
There was still a mont of hesitation from her, but eventually Solista said, "It's just that you've bonded with this Relic of Destruction."
"Bonded?" I couldn't help repeating with one brow up before asking, "What do you an by that? How could I have bonded with this Relic of Destruction?"
"Well, it's hard to explain…" Solista said before falling silent.
I couldn't help knitting my brows when I heard this before saying, "Just give it to straight already. Stop stalling, that just makes things worse."
In the end, Solista answered with a different question.
"Is there sothing strange inside of your body?"
The mont that she asked this, I couldn't help knitting my brows even more without saying anything. I just looked at her with narrowed eyes as I tried to figure out what she ant by this, but it was hard to figure out anything with how I couldn't see any part of her.
At the sa ti, I realized that she should have already read my mind and slowly started to relax my brows.
That was until Solista suddenly said, "I can't read your mind anymore."
"Huh?" I couldn't help being caught off guard by her sudden question.
I had to think for a mont to figure out what she ant by this exactly, but then I couldn't help feeling a bit dumb. After all, there was only one thing that she could an by this.
Still I had to ask, "What do you an by that?"
Solista didn't answer right away as if she had to think about what to say, but eventually she said, "It's as if there's sothing blocking from reading your mind. You're still a human, but it feels like there's sothing in you that's preventing my divine powers from working on you."
A very strange look appeared on my face since this was my first ti hearing anything about this. It was my first ti hearing anything about how the mind reading power of the gods even worked.
So it turned out that it was related to their divine power.
Then if it was related to their divine power, I started to have an idea of why it wasn't working against .
After all, there was only one thing that was different about .
Well, there were two things that were different, but I didn't think that it was the second thing.
It was most likely related to the first thing.
But this first thing was not sothing that I was comfortable making known…
Though she couldn't read my thoughts, it wasn't hard for Solista to tell that there was sothing on my mind based on my expression.
So in the end, she said, "If there's sothing bothering you, then you don't have to tell . I'm sure that it must be sothing big if you won't even tell ."
The way that she said this showed that she was concerned and it did make rember that she was the first god to co to my aid.
Only it also made rember the scene inside of the mory that the Creation God showed .
So in the end, I simply said, "I t the Creation God."
Though I couldn't see her face, it wasn't hard to guess what kind of reaction Solista had to this. After all, I could see a faint tremble coming from her showing that she did react to these words.
Though as for what kind of reaction she had, I really couldn't say.
In the end, I waited to see what she would say in response to this.
"That ans that you've already taken the first step."
A confused and a slightly worried look appeared on my face when I heard this.
It was clear that she knew sothing based on the words that she said, but what exactly she ant by those words…
Well, it was anyone's guess…
It was just that it didn't seem like it was a good thing for .
There was a mont of silence that followed before Solista said, "I'm sure that there are things that you are thinking right now, but I can't say anything. I know how that makes seem, but this really isn't sothing that I can tell you about. It involves sothing much bigger than all of us."
"So it's fine for to be a scapegoat?" I asked with a bitter smile.
"Scapegoat?" Solista asked in a strange voice that made confused.
That was because there was genuine confusion that was in her voice as she said this. It was as if she really couldn't understand what I ant by these words.
It was to the point where I couldn't help feeling a bit embarrassed.
In the end, Solista said, "You might think so things, but I can't tell you anything about them since it involves the truth of this matter. You're still not ready to hear the truth, I'm sure that the Creator God already told you this. When the ti is right, I promise that I'll personally tell you everything."
I didn't know how to feel about the way that she said this, but…
"Then is there no way to get rid of this Relic of Destruction?"
Solista just shook her head before saying, "It's already bonded to you. It's bonded to the thing that's inside of you, so it can't leave you or the seal will break again. In a sense, you're the thing powering the seal now."
A bitter smile appeared on my face.
Not because of what she said, but rather because of what she was implying with these words.
It seed that she still knew what was inside of , the thing that I was trying to hide from her.
