There was no doubt that the gnos would be in complete despair after what had happened to their ho, so they needed one friendly face to pull them out of that despair.

There were hordes of the strange creatures that were in front of us.

Even though the wyverns and mbers of the Holy Empire had gone ahead, they just weren’t able to deal with all of the strange creatures that were there. The flas just couldn’t cut through the large masses of these strange creatures.

That was why I jumped onto Joan and had her lead the way instead.

The gnos were nowhere to be seen, but we could see that there was a cave in the distance that was the target of the strange creatures.

All of the strange creatures seed to be heading towards that cave as if they were focused on hunting sothing down. Well, all of them except for the ones that were being attacked by the holy energy flas.

Those ones had to at least turn around to face the wyverns, but they weren’t really able to do much since the wyverns could fly and they couldn’t.

Once Joan ca forward with her divine energy flas, it was completely different.

It was like a hot knife through butter with the way that her flas cut right through them.

With her flas leading the way, it created a path for us towards the cave.

But the appearance of this major threat was all that was needed to draw the attention of the strange creatures. They hadn’t been bothered when it was just the other wyverns with the holy energy flas.

It was different when it was Joan with her divine energy flas.

They looked at her as if she was their natural enemy.

For a mont, they seed as if they had completely forgotten the cave that they had been attacking. But in the end, there were so of them that turned back to the cave while the others started charging at Joan.

It was all about teamwork as we pushed towards the cave.
