The reason that I had Joan release the flas was because I wanted to see if there was any reaction that would let find the last Relic of Destruction.
While it didn’t seem that likely, it was still worth a try.
In the end, it didn’t provide any information at all.
The flas just spread out evenly all around Joan without surging forward in a certain direction. It was clear that there was nothing that was drawing the hatred of the divine energy flas.
That ant that there was nothing here that was related to the corruption energy.
Well, I didn’t let myself be depressed by this since this was what I had been expecting.
The gods had only given the general area of the Relic of Destruction, so it wasn’t as if it would be that easy to find this last Relic of Destruction.
With the people from the Holy Empire spreading out, I chose to fly around on the back of Joan as well. While this wasn’t certain to find anything, it was better than staying here and it was better than staying with the people that had ulterior motives.
Though it wasn’t as if I could just run off on my own either.
After all, this wasn’t the territory of my country.
This was the territory of the Brownie Kingdom.
So there were mbers of the Sorcery Empire and the Brownie Kingdom that ca along with us. They were being given a ride by the other wyverns of the royal guards that followed .
It wasn’t as if I would let them ride Joan.
Though there were so magicians from the Sorcery Empire that didn’t need that at all.
They were magicians, which ant that they were able to fly on their own.
Or at least that was how it was for the first bit of the journey.
After a while, they still got on the backs of the wyverns.
It took a lot of mana for them to fly around with their own spells, it wasn’t as easy as just simply sitting on the back of a wyvern and flying around.
That was why they chose to land and sit on the backs of the wyverns along with those from the Brownie Kingdom.
During all of this, I had Joan release her flas from ti to ti.
With the way that they looked at , it really seed like they had sothing to say about Joan releasing her flas like this. But in the end, they held their tongues as they looked at as if they were waiting to see what would happen.
The only thing that happened was that the flas fell down towards the ground.
It was a good thing that there wasn’t anything that was under us or else they might really have freaked out.
But there was a problem with the flas.
It was that the flas just fell down like there wasn’t anything that was drawing it.
That ant that there wasn’t a single trace of the corruption energy that was in this place.
Seeing this, I really was at a loss as to what to do now. We had traveled quite a distance in our search for the Relic of Destruction, but there wasn’t a single trace of it so far.
At the sa ti, if the others had found sothing, they would have sent a ssage by now.
As such, it really didn’t seem like there was anything that we would be able to do.
"Is there a problem?" The representative from the Sorcery Empire suddenly asked.
They had been silent because they trusted the thod that I was using, but it was hard for them to remain silent when I looked like this.
I turned to look at them, but I didn’t say anything in the end.
That was because I actually felt sothing.
In the end, it wasn’t Joan’s flas that found it.
It was actually the divine energy that was inside of that felt a resonance coming from above.
But I had to act as if I didn’t feel anything.
In the end, I looked at the representative from the Sorcery Empire to say, "It’s nothing. It’s just that I’m at a loss as to what to do now."
"Eh?" The representatives from the Sorcery Empire and the Brownie Kingdom were both shocked to hear this before the representative from the Sorcery Empire asked, "Then is it possible that the Relic of Destruction isn’t here?"
The eyes of the representative from the Brownie Kingdom lit up when he heard this.
But their eyes dimd again when I said, "This is information from the gods. Even if I don’t know where the Relic of Destruction is, I know that they wouldn’t lie to us."
There were traces of doubt in the eyes of the representatives from the Sorcery Empire and the Brownie Kingdom, but neither of them said anything.
Instead, I just said, "Let try sothing."
Then before they could react, I tapped on Joan’s back and pointed up.
Though Joan didn’t know what I wanted, she still flew up after seeing that I was pointing up.
Then when we were far enough away, I said, "Release as much flas as you can."
I could see the surprise and confusion in Joan’s eyes, but she didn’t waste any ti in following the order that I gave her.
But the representatives from the Sorcery Empire and the Brownie Kingdom were even more shocked since they were right under Joan. That ant that the flas that she released were coming down on them.
I ignored all of their complaints as I looked up at the sky.
In particular, I was looking at a cloud that was just drifting there through the air.
"So we were looking in the wrong direction. It was up here all along."
The resonance that I felt was a reaction that I felt from the Relic of Destruction.
Which ant that the Relic of Destruction was floating in the sky, inside of this cloud that this feeling was coming from.
