However, as I gained insight into the truth behind this world, there was a part of that still couldn’t help wondering about how this all ca to be.
But that thought was tossed out of my mind in the end.
"This is a topic that concerns not just the gods, but the very creation of this world. This isn’t sothing that I would be able to figure out even if I were to use all my brainpower on it." I said to myself as I stopped thinking about this.
Instead, I turned my attention back to the Relic of Destruction.
This Relic of Destruction was the reason that I had co here in the first place.
So naturally the first thing that I had to do was make sure that the seal was still on it.
Unlike the other Relics of Destruction where I had to deal with one problem or another, I wanted to make sure that this Relic of Destruction was still fully intact.
I couldn’t have done this previously, but it was easy now that I possessed divine energy.
It was easy to induce resonance with the seal that was on the Relic of Destruction.
After a mont of keeping my eyes closed, I suddenly opened them and said with a sigh, "It’s good that there’s at least one Relic of Destruction that’s still normal."
Unlike the rest of the Relics of Destruction, there wasn’t a single thing that was wrong with the seal on this one. It was fully intact and working properly, so there wasn’t a single trace of corruption energy leaking from it.
The only corruption energy coming from it was the corruption energy that was being released properly from controlling the seal.
But I didn’t pick it up right away.
Instead, I started following the flow of mana.
There was one other thing that I was worried about.
It was that I was worried that this castle flying in the sky would drop out of the sky once this Relic of Destruction was taken.
I had already confird that this Relic of Destruction was the power source for the barrier around the castle. So it would be bad if it was also the power source for whatever was keeping this castle in the sky.
That was why I didn’t take it right away and checked the flow of mana.
In the end, I found that there was a battery source.
It was a bunch of mana stones that seed to be linked to the circuit that was connected to the pedestal that the Relic of Destruction was on.
That ant that the power supply of the flying castle was still the mana that ca from this Relic of Destruction. So if I wanted to take this Relic of Destruction, while it didn’t an that the castle flying in the sky would crash right away, it would still eventually crash.
That wasn’t sothing that I wanted to see...
In fact, it might even be considered a terrorist attack if I were to let sothing like this happen.
"It won’t collapse right away, but there’s no telling how long it’ll last...Will it be possible to keep it afloat using wyverns and then slowly bring it down once it to the ground once it runs out of power?" I couldn’t help muttering to myself as I tried to think of a plan to deal with this flying castle.
But in the end, there was no need for to do that.
"Are you thinking about how to make sure that this castle doesn’t crash into the ground?"
A familiar voice rang out after I muttered these words.
When I looked up, there was a familiar face that was in front of .
But the fact that this face appeared all of a sudden caught off guard and I couldn’t help raising my hand to punch it. The problem was that there was no actual form to this face and that it was just a hologram.
That ant that my fist went right through the hologram and hit nothing but air.
It didn’t seem like the hologram minded that I suddenly punched it as it continued to speak.
"You’re probably wondering why there’s this recorded ssage here. Well, it’s simply because you activated it with your words. There’s a set phrase that this ssage was set to wait for and since you said it, it started playing this ssage. So even if you have sothing to say to , it isn’t as if I can actually say anything back."
Even now, he still had the sa annoying tone as before.
I really wanted to punch Gabriel again, even if it wasn’t as if I would be able to hit him.
But I cald myself down and listened to what he had to say.
"As for the phrase...well, let’s just say that it’s related to bringing this castle down. I’m sure that you’ve already figured out that we’ve been using this Relic of Destruction to power this castle. So if the Relic of Destruction were to be taken away, that would an that this castle would lose all power and plumt to the sky. This wasn’t sothing that we wanted to see in our ti and I’m sure that it isn’t sothing that you want to see in your ti."
Gabriel suddenly turned around and waved his hand before saying, "Then follow . I’ll take you to the control room of this castle and help you learn the controls. Once you learn the controls, you’ll be able to land this castle and take the Relic of Destruction away."
A strange look appeared on my face when I saw this.
After all, this seed like too much of a coincidence...
But then again, most of the ssages that had been recorded already seed like too much of a coincidence. It really seed like he had already predicted everything and that was why he recorded all those ssages.
So there wasn’t anything that I could do other than follow the hologram as it made its way forward.
