The king of the Mofu Mofu Kingdom was a demi human with cat ears, but he wasn’t just any cat demi human.
When I looked at him closely, I couldn’t help feeling that there was sothing familiar about him.
It was only after a while that I figured out what it was.
It was that he looked very similar to both Chocola and Vanilla.
Chocola and Vanilla looked different from each other, but there had been similarities between them that made think that they were sisters. This was also sothing that they confird when I talked to them while traveling.
But now...it seed that there was another secret that they had been hiding from .
After all, it was too much of a coincidence that they looked just like the king...
This was proven when the two of them were brought into the eting room by the two ministers of the right and left who arrived late.
Even though they were ministers, they didn’t have a chair at this table.
Instead, they gave up their seats to Vanilla and Chocola.
The two of them sat on the left and right side of the demi human king.
Once everyone was seated, the demi human king said, "Thank you everyone for coming to the aid of our Mofu Mofu Kingdom. I am the king, Kashou and these two are my daughters that I’m sure that you have already t."
When he said this, Vanilla and Chocola gave a bow of greeting to everyone.
The way that they were acting now was completely different from the way that they had acted when they had been traveling with us.
To describe it, it seed that there was a serious nature to them now that they were in this formal setting. It seed that the atmosphere of this eting was restraining the two of them, forcing them to act properly.
After all, they had been introduced as princesses of the Mofu Mofu Kingdom so it wasn’t as if they could keep acting the sa way as before.
Once King Kashou finished introducing himself, he seed like he was about to say sothing else, but he didn’t get to do that as he suddenly started coughing.
As he coughed, he seed to bend over as if he was filled with pain.
It was clear that whatever was happening, it wasn’t light.
It seed that the king himself had also been affected by the illness.
As he coughed, the princesses and ministers that were around him all looked at him with concerned looks.
Vanilla and Chocola even seed like they wanted to hold him with the way that they were halfway out of their seats. But it seed like there was sothing that was restraining them from doing so.
It was the look that King Kashou gave them.
He had his pride, so he didn’t want anyone helping him. He even looked like he would fight anyone that ca forward to help him.
I couldn’t help shaking my head when I saw this.
It was amazing that this kind of stubborn king even asked for help from the other races.
After shaking my head, I stood up and started walking over to where King Kashou was sitting.
He looked at with a confused look, as if he was asking what I was trying to do.
I didn’t say a single thing as I approached him, but judging by the looks on the faces of Vanilla, Chocola, and the right minister, it seed like all of them could guess what I had been planning to do.
When I ca over, I raised the scarf that I had pulled out.
Seeing this, King Kashou seed to realize what I was about to do and he said, "Wait, don’t..."
I didn’t listen to him at all as I gathered the mist around him.
With the mist appearing, it took no ti at all for him to recover.
After he recovered, he looked completely different from before.
It wasn’t as if he wasn’t a fit person before this, but now he looked like he was completely jacked with the way that he swelled to one and half tis his previous size. It really seed like he was a balloon with the way that he swelled, but it wasn’t just his size that grew.
"Damn, how does he have this much muscle?" I couldn’t help thinking to myself when I saw him grow like this.
But at the sa ti, it was clear that he had been suffering from his illness for a while now if he swelled like this after being cured.
When I was done, King Kashou said with a sigh, "You shouldn’t have spent that energy on . There are people that are in much worse condition all over the kingdom that need your help."
I shook my head before saying, "If the leader falls, then the others will be headless. It’s good to think of your people, but you should consider what position you have in the hearts of your people."
King Kashou turned to look at Vanilla and Chocola before looking at the two ministers behind him.
When he saw the way that they looked at him, he said with a sigh, "It was my fault."
Turning back to , he said with a solemn look, "King Zwein, you are right. I was being selfish for trying to hold on like this. I wanted all my citizens to be saved, but I was just worrying those that were around and slowing everyone down. Thank you for reminding of this."
I had to admit that I was a bit surprised.
I thought that King Kashou would be a stubborn person, but it turned out that this was only because he was thinking of his people in his own way.
At least this showed that he was an easy person to talk to and an easy person to get along with.
It seed like choosing to cooperate with the demi humans was the right choice.
