That was the only emotion that was felt at this point.
It wasn't just the corruption energy bird and Joan that were shocked, I was also shocked when I saw how the dark tornado seed to pop and disappear without a trace when it touched the ice barrier.
I had expected the ice barrier to beco stronger after my divine energy had grown, but I never expected it to grow by this much.
It was on a completely different level now…
But there just wasn't the ti to be shocked.
I patted Joan on the back and said, "Keep going, don't let it get away."
The mont that Joan heard this, it was as if she snapped back to her senses and started flying up at the corruption energy bird.
The corruption energy bird didn't react as quickly as Joan did, but it did eventually co back to its senses when it saw Joan coming at it.
This ti, it didn't react in the sa way as before where it attacked right away.
This ti, it seed like it was wary of us.
When it finally reacted, the corruption energy bird suddenly turned around and seed like it wanted to run away. It seed like the corruption energy bird recognized the danger that we posed, so it was trying to return to its master to report this.
It was just that I wouldn't let the corruption energy bird leave that easily.
I put my hand on Joan's back and started sending the divine energy into her.
This was only a test since I wasn't certain if it would work or not, but it actually worked much better than I thought.
The mont that the divine energy flowed into Joan, the Mark of God appeared on her head again.
However, this Mark of God wasn't just here to enhance her flas.
Instead, there was a white light that suddenly surrounded Joan before she started moving faster.
Even Joan couldn't help being surprised by how light her body had beco when this white light surrounded her. It was as if there was an infinite source of energy that was coming from this white light that filled her.
After she was filled with energy from that white light, she began moving much faster than before. The corruption energy bird found that it just wasn't able to create any space with Joan no matter how fast it flew.
So in the end, the corruption energy bird had no choice but to turn around and try to fight back.
The problem was that the mont that it stopped, there was a mist that appeared around it that started purifying it just like before. The corruption energy bird flapped its wings in a panic as it tried to find a way out.
While it was panicking like this, that was when Joan ca up right in front of it and reached out to grab it.
The corruption energy bird did all that it could to fight back, but there was nothing that it could do. All of the corruption energy that it tried to gather seed to be purified by the mist that was around it.
It just wasn't able to fight back at all.
In the end, the only thing that happened was that there was a ball of ice that appeared around the corruption energy bird.
Even though the ball of ice was thin enough that the corruption energy bird could be clearly seen, it didn't seem like it would break that easily. No matter how the corruption energy bird slamd into the ball of ice, there wasn't a single thing that the corruption energy bird could do against it.
In fact, it seed like more and more of the corruption energy bird was being purified as it slamd into the ball of ice that was around it.
Eventually, the corruption energy bird was only a tenth of its original size.
It was clear that this corruption energy bird had already burned through most of the corruption energy that it possessed by trying to break free. It seed like just a single hit would be enough to take it down at this point.
But even then, it didn't seem like the corruption energy bird was planning on giving up.
It was just temporarily stopping itself from slamming into the ball of ice around it since it knew that there was no point in doing so.
However, even if it tried to find a way out, it wasn't as if there was a way out.
Just from all of this, I could tell that I was completely different from before.
From gaining that second inheritance, my power had completely exploded and I was much stronger than before. I was now on a completely different level when it ca to how strong my divine energy was.
Especially when it was used to boost other sources of divine energy.
The divine energy that was inside of had increased by more than ten tis, but it wasn't just a ten tis increase when I used it on other relics. In fact, it was more like I increased the power of these relics by a hundred tis when I used my divine energy on them.
So far, I hadn't even used the full power of the divine energy inside of and I had already taken down this corruption energy bird sent to take down.
"But the Apostle of Destruction that says it's one of the Four Ons is on a completely different level." I couldn't help saying to myself.
Joan grabbed the ball of ice and went down to the ground before shaking it in her hands as if she was enjoying seeing the corruption energy bird being trapped like this.
However, from her doing this…
"Kaw!" There was an aggrieved sound that ca from the corruption energy bird as it slamd into one of the walls of the ball of ice, completely purifying it and making it disappear.
Seeing the awkward look that was on Joan's face, I said, "It's fine. It's not as if this thing would have said anything. I would have killed it in the end."
