With the different relics that they had and the buff that ca from the mist that I released, the racial alliance were able to easily deal with the corruption energy monsters and the Apostles of Destruction.
Though the Apostles of Destruction were treated differently than the corruption energy monsters.
The mindless corruption energy monsters were treated as targets for elimination.
The Apostles of Destruction that had more intelligence were treated as targets to be captured rather than to be eliminated.
After all, they could be interrogated and information could be gained from them.
The one thing that was needed right now was information on the forces of Destruction and the God of Destruction. There was just too little that was known about them, so they needed far more information.
But it wasn’t easy since the Apostles of Destruction didn’t allow themselves to be captured.
It wasn’t that they didn’t want their lives, it was just that they had no choice since they were still under orders. With the orders in place, all they could do was fight as if they were going all out.
In the end, they ran out of corruption energy.
With my mist in place, it slowly burned away all of the corruption energy that they possessed until they didn’t have anything left. Once they ran out of corruption energy, there just wasn’t anything that they could do as they didn’t have the power to do anything.
But there were so that still went all out in the end.
Instead of letting themselves be captured, they chose to blow themselves up to cause as much damage as possible.
If it wasn’t for fast reactions in the end, it would have ended poorly.
But I was able to trap the one that blew themselves up before they could actually do it, which ant that the damage caused by their explosions were reduced. They weren’t actually able to harm anyone in the end.
However, I could tell from the divine energy earth balls that I used to trap them that they had blown themselves up completely.
I hadn’t been able to stop them in ti from killing themselves.
The rest were restrained with divine energy vines and they couldn’t do a single thing against them.
So like that, the rest of the Apostles of Destruction were caught.
The only thing that was left was to interrogate them for information.
But it wasn’t as if that was easy to do either since there wasn’t much that could be used to interrogate these Apostles of Destruction.
In the end, I sealed them for now since it wasn’t the right ti for this.
What mattered most right now was recovering from the fight with the forces of Destruction.
It was a victory in the end, but it could also be said that it was a hollow victory. After all, none of the enemy leaders had been taken down in the end and they had escaped.
Even if they had destroyed one of the more powerful Relics of Destruction, that was still far from being enough. After all, it was just a single relic instead of one of the stronger mbers of the forces of Destruction.
With all that had been lost, it really wasn’t worth it...
At the sa ti, there were still a lot of things that had to be done all over the Mofu Mofu Kingdom. After all, it wasn’t as if just stopping the array and pushing back the forces of Destruction was the end.
During the ti that the array had been active, there was a lot of corruption energy that had been spread all over the Mofu Mofu Kingdom.
Leaving the corruption energy there would cause long term damage to the Mofu Mofu Kingdom, so it wasn’t as if that could be allowed to happen.
Though it certainly would take a long ti to take care of all the corruption energy.
But it had to be done since the Mofu Mofu Kingdom had joined the racial alliance.
There really wasn’t anyone that seed like they wanted to celebrate the victory once the enemies had been taken care of. It was clear by the looks on everyone’s faces that they knew that this was nothing more than a hollow victory.
In the end, King Kashou still said, "It’s our victory!"
Everyone looked at him with a strange look before their expressions slowly changed.
Eventually, it seed like everyone joined King Kashou in celebrating this victory even though they knew that it was a hollow victory.
That was because they knew that they had to at least pretend that it was a victory.
If they didn’t do this, then morale would have collapsed.
In the end, it wasn’t just this celebration alone that happened.
In the end, the entire Mofu Mofu Kingdom held a celebration banquet to celebrate defeating the forces of Destruction.
However, this banquet was different from a usual banquet.
Instead, it was one that invited all the citizens to celebrate as well.
Though most of them were only returning to the capital after having been evacuated because of the corruption energy that appeared all over the Mofu Mofu Kingdom.
During that ti, they had been forced into terrible conditions even though they had been ill.
So for them, this was the first good al that they had in a long ti.
At the sa ti, there were people here that treated them for the corruption energy illness that they suffered.
This celebration banquet was nothing more than a disguise to help the people of the Mofu Mofu Kingdom after the disaster that had befallen them.
But behind the scenes, there was sothing else that happened.
There was a eting that was held between those that were at the very top of the racial alliance and the Mofu Mofu Kingdom.
The one thing that they were discussing was the future of the continent and how they would deal with the forces of Destruction.
After all, what had happened had shown them the power that the forces of Destruction possessed.
