"Is everyone alright?" The Dwarven King took charge after we had landed down in this cave.

All of the dwarves took a mont to make sure that they were all in one piece before replying to him.

I did the sa thing as the others, but I also took a few glances at this place while this was happening.

When all of the dwarves confird that they were alright, the Dwarven King looked behind us at the pile of rocks that blocked the way with an ugly look on his face. He moved around the pile a few tis as if he was trying to find sothing, but the look on his face just wasn’t good.

In the end, he said with a sigh, "There really is no way out if we try going back this way."

Turning around, his expression turned serious as he said, "It seems like the only way out of this place is for us to go forward."

All of the dwarves looked forward with serious looks after he said this.

There had been traces of hope in their eyes as they watched the Dwarven King explore the pile of rocks, but they gave up as soon as he confird that there was no way back.

The Dwarven King was the most skilled out of all of them, whether it was in terms of blacksmithing or exploring caves to find ores. So he naturally was the best among them when it ca to determining whether they would be able to leave this place or not.

After giving another sigh, he turned to look at to say, "Sorry about getting you caught up in this."

I gave a simple nod in response, but I was surprised by what he said next.

"Besides, it’s your own fault for wanting to co to this place to begin with. I already told you that this place was dangerous and you still insisted on coming here. It’s only natural that you would be trapped in a place like this."

With how he was almost rubbing it in, there was a smile that appeared on my lips.

This was the kind of thing that one would say to soone that they were close to.

It was only because we were in laws that he would treat like this.

But I also knew that he was doing this because he wanted to calm down by jabbing like this.

Basically, he was using these words to help acclimate to the fact that we were trapped down here.

I patted him on the shoulder and said, "It’s one thing or another in this world. I’ve been caught up in all kinds of different things, so I’m already used to it at this point."

The Dwarven King raised a brow when he heard this before saying, "Right, it could even be said that it’s your fault. It’s also my fault for going around with a bad luck magnet like you."

"Hey, don’t take it too far." I said in a serious tone, but then I couldn’t help laughing.

The Dwarven King also couldn’t help laughing after hearing this.

But it was a fact that the others were calming down after hearing what we said. It was clear that they were being soothed by the fact that we were being this calm in this situation.

After all, we wouldn’t be this calm if we didn’t have a plan.

Though the reality was that the Dwarven King didn’t have a single plan.

He was just trying to raise morale so that they would be able to find a way out of here.

As for ...

I already knew exactly where we were just from looking around a bit.

I was even glad that I had rembered correctly and landed us in the right place.

Now it was all about leading this group to where I wanted them to go.

I still had to find the ti to sneak off and claim the Earth Spirit King for myself after all.

Once everyone cald down, the Dwarven King made a suggestion, "Should we proceed then? There’s no point staying here and there’s no telling if we’ll have breathable air for long here. The gaps in the rocks are quite solid, so we might run out of air at any ti."

For dwarves that were expert miners, they naturally knew about running out of air in sealed caves like this. That was why this was the first thing that they thought about when they were in this situation.

But the Dwarven King truly was brave enough to suggest moving forward at a ti like this when one might run out of air at any mont.

After all, there was no telling what they would find in an unknown place like this.

At least it was better to go out fighting than to try prolonging their lives by remaining still and consuming as little oxygen as possible.

It was just that after moving for a bit, the Dwarven King suddenly stopped and said, "There’s a current in the air."

The other dwarves also stopped and started feeling for what the Dwarven King felt.

It didn’t take them long to find it and they all let out a sigh of relief.

The Dwarven King turned to and explained, "I couldn’t feel it earlier since there was air that was coming from the rocks behind us. But it seems like there’s a current flowing in the air right now, which ans that there’s another exit to this place. It ans that we aren’t sealed off underground to run out of oxygen and there’s a way out."

All of the dwarves seed to beco even more excited as the Dwarven King said this.

They knew that this was the case from what the Dwarven King said earlier, but him saying it out loud did raise their spirits even more.

Then after saying this, the Dwarven King looked at the cave around us before asking, "Where are we?"
