"Divine energy?" Olivia repeated slowly.

The look on her face showed that she had no idea what I was talking about, but she also knew that anything that had the word divine attached to it clearly wouldn’t be anything normal.

So she knew that whatever this test was, it had to be a special one.

The fact that she had passed ant that she did have so kind of special power which made her happy.

Once she settled down, I said, "Since you have proven that you have the potential, that ans that now we should discuss what will happen now."

Without waiting for a response from them, I took out a piece of paper and slid it over for them to take a look.

As if she was traumatized by pieces of paper, Alia couldn’t help revealing a displeased look.

Of course, I understood that it was all because of her forr husband’s debts that she had this trauma. It seed like she was afraid of anything that seed like a contract since it reminded her of what happened to her forr husband.

But it wasn’t as if the contract that I took out was a bad thing.

The contract that I was offering them was a proper contract.

Though it really wasn’t a normal kind of contract either.

"Sponsor?" Olivia asked in a confused voice when she read what was written on the contract.

With a nod, I said, "Since it would be wrong to ask you to help save the world without actually giving you anything, naturally we’ll be providing proper compensation. And since you’re still a minor, we felt that this was the best way to offer this compensation."

Though it was different from a normal sponsor contract either.

A sponsor contract would be taking soone under their wings to raise them, soone with talent that one would want to raise.

This contract was more an employnt contract for Olivia that would train her into a fighter for the racial alliance. She would beco soone that would receive her own divine relic just like Old Man Lancelot.

When Alia read this contract, her expression changed several tis.

When she finished reading it, it didn’t seem like she had an opinion with the calm look that was on her face.

After a mont of silence, she finally asked, "You want to take my daughter away from ?"

"You’re free to follow her if you want." I said as if this was a natural thing, but it seed like it triggered Alia when she heard this.

"What about my inn? I can’t just abandon this place that will provide for us if anything happens." She said in an angry voice.

I couldn’t help being taken aback when I heard this before saying, "The inn will be taken care of, it’s written in the contract as well."

"Where?" Alia narrowed her eyes to look at when I said this.

While I was confused why she would say this, I took out my own copy of the contract to look at it before pointing it out for Alia.

Though she saw it, she said, "How does this an that it’ll be taken care of?"

I was surprised to hear this, but then I realized sothing.

The contract was written in language that might have been a bit too complicated for a commoner to understand. It wasn’t that I was looking down on Alia, it was a fact that this was a dieval world with a class system.

It was only natural that there was a limit to Alia’s learning even if she was soone that ran an inn. There was only so much that she was allowed to learn by the upper classes.

So it would make sense that she didn’t get what was written in the contract.

"What this contract is stating is that soone will be called in to handle this inn for you, but you’ll still maintain full ownership of the inn. It’s like we will be hiring a manager on your behalf and paying for them for you. That is part of the compensation package." I slowly explained to her.

It seed that Alia slowly cald down after I explained it in simpler terms for her, though she still did have a bit of doubt.

"We can rewrite this contract in terms that you are more comfortable with, it’s not a problem. It’s just that this is a big decision for Olivia and we don’t plan on rushing her at all. Please feel free to discuss this among yourselves and then make a decision." I said as I stood up to leave.

Alia looked a bit awkward when she saw this, but I said, "Don’t worry, I understand that this is hard for you, so please take all the ti that you need."

She still followed in the end, though she made Olivia stay behind.

When we ca out of the room and stood alone in the hallway, she suddenly said, "Thank you for everything that you’ve done for us. You’ve already saved and showed that you don’t have any ill intentions towards us..."

After a pause, she added, "But this is my daughter..."

With a nod, I said, "I understand how you feel since I have children of my own."

The expression on Alia’s face showed that she was slowly thinking about Dorothy and I didn’t correct her on this.

I just simply said, "That’s why I don’t mind that you’re taking this ti to be careful. There are things that we need to do as parents to protect our children."

Alia’s expression slowly changed when she heard this, along with the way that she looked at .

After another mont of silence, she finally said, "Thank you for understanding."

I gave a simple nod before turning to leave again.

There was no need for to remain here any longer since I had already said all that I needed to say.

Not to ntion that the way that she was looking at was making uncomfortable.

It wasn’t as if I was here for that after all.
