"It seems that this was a flop..." I said to myself when I saw the products that had been created by these alchemists.
I had done the sa thing for them by giving them divine energy flas since it was needed in their process of creating potions.
The thing was that even though the divine energy flas were used, it didn’t seem like any of the divine energy was absorbed by the potions that they created.
It wasn’t that these weren’t potions that were skillfully crafted, it was just that they didn’t absorb the divine energy at all like the other things.
I knew that these alchemists were so of the best of the best when it ca to hero units, so it wasn’t as if they didn’t have the skills for this. It was just that there was sothing that prevented the divine energy from entering the potions.
Since I wasn’t skilled at alchemy in the first place, I had no idea what part of this process wasn’t working.
It also really drove in the fact that everything that had happened before was just pure luck.
"What are you doing?"
I was surprised to hear this voice, but the owner of this voice was the one that I had wanted to see.
After all, he might be the one that could give an answer.
I had called him a long ti ago, but he had been ignoring since he had been studying the corruption energy samples that we had. But now that he was out, I was planning on using him for everything that he was worth.
"It’s these potions, we weren’t able to imbue divine energy into them like the others."
Max was confused when he heard this, but he soon understood when I explained everything and even showed him the other samples that we had.
Though the only real samples that I had for him were the weapons that had been forged.
Most of the food had already lost most of the divine energy that was in them.
As expected of food, there really was a short expiry date on these cooked dishes.
Perhaps it was possible to create so kind of preserved food that contained divine energy, but that was for another ti. That was for when we did more experints on creating products with divine energy.
Right now, it was ti to figure out what was wrong with these potions.
After he understood what was happening, there was an interested look that appeared in Max’s eyes.
I had already been expecting this since I knew what kind of personality he had, but this wasn’t the ti to let him do what he wanted. After all, there was little ti left before the next round of the alchemy tournant.
That ant that we had to figure out what the problem was with the potion brewing process before that.
It wasn’t a problem of whether we would have the people or not since we were planning on recruiting all those that showed prowess during these tournants. The problem was that it would take a long ti for them all to gather.
After all, everyone had their own lives and lived in different parts of the continent.
So if we could discover the cause of this, then they would be able to refine these potions anywhere. If we didn’t, we would have to gather everyone together to figure out what was wrong with the process and that wasn’t possible since everyone had to return ho to pack up and move over.
It wasn’t as if we could just expect them to start working without saying anything to their families.
It wasn’t as if we could just kidnap them.
So we were in a ti crunch.
"Just what did you use to provide the divine energy?" Max suddenly asked this question which caught off guard.
But I created the divine energy fla to show him.
When he saw this, he couldn’t help looking at with a strange look that I couldn’t understand. After all, I didn’t think that there was anything wrong with using flas since it was an integral part of brewing potions.
"What is the essence of brewing potions?" Max asked all of a sudden.
All I could do was look at him with a confused look since I had no idea what he was implying here, but it really seed like there was sothing important that he was trying to convey.
It was just that no matter how I thought about it, I couldn’t understand what he was implying.
So all I could do was shake my head with a confused look.
"The dicinal essence doesn’t co from the flas, it cos from the ingredients. This is unlike cooking or forging where the heat is used to create the finished product. The heat is just a transfer thod for the real essence, but it doesn’t actually make contact with the product."
I couldn’t help being surprised by his insight, but he was right about this.
The flas were used on the cauldrons that were used to brew the potions to heat them up, but the cauldrons did separate them from the actual dicinal essence since they didn’t want to damage it with the heat.
That ant that the divine energy was also kept out and couldn’t be absorbed by the potion.
"Then how do we do this?"
Since the essence of these potions was the dicinal essence, it wasn’t as if we could imbue the divine energy into the ingredients themselves so that the potions would be filled with divine energy.
Putting aside how much ti and effort that would take, I had no idea how it would even be possible unless we grew the ingredients with divine energy.
"You’re missing one simple thing. There’s sothing else that holds the dicinal essence and it makes direct contact with it. As long as we fill that thing with divine energy, it’s a simple solution."
I once again looked at Max with a confused look, but I couldn’t help being moved by the confidence in his voice.
