A few days after the first batch arrived in the rman Empire’s capital, there was this large festival that was held.
The the of the festival was unity, but those that knew the truth knew that it was anything but that.
After all, this was just a show for the citizens of the rman Empire.
"Thanks to the efforts of our son in law, we have solved the mysteries of the taboo zone and discovered lost species that had been trapped there for the longest ti. This is a day for reuniting with those that have been lost for a long ti."
That was what the rman King announced, but it really was hard for those other aquatic races to accept the cheer that followed.
The problem was that they had to accept these cheers.
After all, this was the condition of coming here.
In a sense, it could be said that they were being made a show in front of the citizens of the rman Empire. However, they accepted this since they knew that this was the only way to be accepted by the citizens of the rman Empire.
They were curious about the world outside of their little pond, so they sucked it up and went along with it.
That included...
"This is the representative of Aestum, the God of Tides."
"Hmph, it’s been a long ti since we’ve been able to see you all."
This could be considered courtesy from the kraken since there was plenty more that it could have said. However, it chose not to say that much since I had asked it to cooperate with the rman King.
At the very least, I was able to convince the kraken to go along with it for the sake of those that ca as part of this program.
But it wasn’t just their side that was sucking it up.
It was also the ministers who knew the truth that had looks that were less than pleased about this entire situation.
It was only natural that they would feel this way since this was sothing that went against their beliefs. It was sothing that they had wanted to hide after all, but the rman King was announcing it to everyone like this.
However, since the rman King had changed the facts of the matter, they had no choice but to compromise.
They were still worried about what would happen if soone were to find the truth.
Neither side was comfortable with this matter, but they had no choice but to suck it up and go along with this.
"This really does represent what life is all about. Sotis people just have to compromise on things like this."
Though I was certain that things wouldn’t be that simple.
This kind of compromise was not sothing that would be able to last for a long ti. This was the kind of compromise that would keep boiling under the surface until it suddenly exploded.
I was just watching all of this since I wanted to see how it would blow up.
Or rather, it was better to say that I wanted to see how Aquaron would react in the end.
After all, it wasn’t as if Aquaron wouldn’t act when they saw that these races that he banished were back. There was no doubt that Aquaron would do sothing to make sure that the past wasn’t reversed.
The strange thing was that there wasn’t a single sign from Aquaron so far...
It really seed like they weren’t going to do anything...even though things had reached this point.
"Would a god really watch as sothing that they went that far to do was reversed? It doesn’t feel like sothing that a god would do..." I couldn’t help thinking to myself as I watched all of this.
When the ceremony was over, the guests from the banished races went with the rmaids that were assigned to show them around.
Though they had been shown around the rman Kingdom during this ti, they had been kept under strict supervision the entire ti to ensure that nothing went wrong. But now, they were allowed to wander wherever they wanted to go.
Or that would have been the case if not for the fact that the ones that were accompanying them were still guards. Though they were introduced as regular rmaids, it wasn’t as if the rman King would let his guard down yet.
"It’ll happen one day, but we can’t be careless until it’s over."
That was the right attitude to have, but I thought that he was being too cautious since the guards that he assigned were actually shadow guards for the royal family.
These were elites of elites...
I didn’t say anything as I watched them leave before following the rman King back.
After all, there was soone else that I was eting today.
...
"It was an of you to call back now all of a sudden. I was making progress fighting for my future and then you pulled away."
I really didn’t know what to say when I heard this, but I could tell that there was soone that was more hurt than I was when hearing this.
The forr crown prince was sulking in the corner when he heard his daughter saying this.
After all, there was no father that was happy to hear about his daughter’s love life which was what she had been complaining about.
Thinking about it, it really was a roller coaster when it ca to Dicus’ love life.
First she had targeted and then she changed her target to Noah, my brother in law. Though it wasn’t as if she had a chance since Noah already had soone else in mind and he was even planning on marrying her soon.
Still, it was interesting to see how it would develop.
After all, it wasn’t as if this world was monogamous in the first place.
"Alright, be quiet for a bit. It seems like your uncle has sothing to say." Zyra said with a sigh in the end.
Dicus might not listen to her father, but she did listen to her mother in the end.
