The temple that I was referring to was the sa temple that I had been brought to when I first ca to the rman Empire.
This temple was the temple that belonged to Aquaron and it was the place that I received that relic from them.
It had been a long ti since I had co to this place since I had never needed to co to this place. After all, there was a better place for to go to if there was a need to talk to the gods.
However, I ca here this ti because there was sothing specific that I had to ask Aquaron.
When I ca up to the temple, I found that there were so priests that were already there waiting for .
It didn’t seem like they knew what I was here for, but they did recognize as the one that had been summoned by their god before.
I ignored them as I headed towards the temple.
None of the priests tried to stop , the only reason that they ca forward to greet was because they recognized . Though there were confused looks that were on their faces when they followed since they had no idea what I was here for.
It seed that Aquaron hadn’t given them any instructions.
Was it simply because they didn’t care about this or because they didn’t have anything to say about this.
I had been waiting for a response from Aquaron the entire ti, but they had never said a single thing.
Since they didn’t want to speak to , then the only choice that I had now was to go and find them.
After opening the doors to the temple, I turned around and said, "I have to go in alone."
They looked at as if they wanted to follow , but I remained firm on this matter.
So in the end, they had no choice but to respect this even if they clearly wanted to co in with .
The ones that wanted to follow the most were the priests, but they held themselves back in the end.
Once the door closed behind , it didn’t take long for to appear in the place that I expected to appear in. At the sa ti, the figure that I expected to see appeared in front of .
It was just that I certainly didn’t expect what they said.
"Go back, there’s nothing for you here."
This was completely different from the Aquaron that I had t in the past.
This Aquaron wasn’t one that was completely complacent, this was an Aquaron that was completely focused and knew what they were doing.
So when I heard this, I couldn’t help feeling confused.
"Is this the real you or is the one that I t before the real you?"
Aquaron refused to answer this, but he did give an answer that caught off guard once more.
"It isn’t the right ti for you to know about this."
This was the exact sa thing that Aestum said when I tried to talk to them previously.
For them to say the exact sa thing like this, it definitely wasn’t a coincidence.
Though to think that they would be working together...that was also a bit hard to believe with the way that Aestum and the kraken had acted.
It felt like there was a bit too much of a grudge in their voices for this to simply be an act.
"You’ve already gotten the answer that you’re looking for, so there’s no reason for you to remain here any longer." Aquaron said all of a sudden while I was still processing what had happened here.
Since they were the god and I was the mortal, there was nothing that I could do as I was sent out of this place.
I wasn’t able to say a single thing as the scenery changed around .
When I ca back to my senses, I found that I was once again back in the temple.
The way that the two gods acted...it was clear that there was more to this story than what I had been told.
The problem was that if the gods didn’t want to say anything, it wasn’t as if I could force the gods to talk. I might be able to use divine energy, but that didn’t make a god.
Even if I were to ask the other gods, it wasn’t as if gods would tattle on other gods.
This was sothing that I had already learned the hard way before this.
So in the end, there really was nothing that I could do about this as I turned to leave the temple.
When I opened the doors, there was this frustrated feeling that filled ...
"What happened?" The rman King was the one that stepped forward to ask this question, but all I could do was shake my head.
Everyone looked at with strange looks when they heard this.
They really didn’t understand what I ant by this, but I really didn’t want to tell them anything else since I didn’t want to create any misunderstandings. When I didn’t understand things either, it was best if I told them as little as possible.
Though while this was happening, I looked at the kraken and watched for any reaction from it.
It seed like the kraken wasn’t as surprised as the others...
Since I wouldn’t say anything, there wasn’t anything that they could do.
In the end, we just left the temple and headed back to the palace.
Though as we were heading back, I moved to the side of the rman King and said, "Keep an eye on those people that we’ve brought back with us."
The rman King looked at with a strange look before asking, "Do you think that sothing will happen with them?"
"I don’t think they’ll do anything, but I feel like sothing might happen that will be out of our control."
The rman King looked at with another strange look, but he gave a nod in the end.
