The fla elentals had actually prepared a place for to sit with the ancestors and talk.
Though they said ancestors, there really were only the two of them.
It wasn’t as if there were that many more and from the aura that ca from them, it was easy to tell that they weren’t as strong as the rock elental ancestor.
Even if they had spread their essence out to save this place, it still wasn’t enough to compete with the rock elental ancestor.
As if they could guess what I was thinking from my expression, one of the fla elental ancestor said, "You can’t compare us to that old rock. He’s the one that worked with the gods first and paved the path for the rest of us."
The other fla elental ancestor just gave a nod in agreent.
But the casual way that they said this completely caught off guard.
There was a strange look that appeared on my face after hearing this, but the fla elental ancestors didn’t seem to mind at all. It was as if this was sothing that was very normal for them.
I couldn’t help thinking that these fla elental ancestors were certainly much more open compared to the rock elental ancestor.
If it was the rock elental ancestor, then it certainly wouldn’t have said all of this.
Since they were so open about this, that ant that I would be able to take advantage of this.
"Can you tell a bit more about the past? I want to know what happened during the war of the gods."
The two fla elental ancestors looked at each other which worried at first, but then they nodded in agreent before they started taking turns telling the story.
The problem was that the story that they told was one that I was already familiar with.
It was the sa story that the rock elental ancestor had told , but there were a few more details in this story compared to the one that the rock elental ancestor told .
These small details were things that could have been skipped, but it seed like these fla elental ancestors were planning on telling everything.
I honestly preferred the way that the rock elental ancestor told the story since it was short and concise. The story that the fla elental ancestors told was one that kept getting sidetracked because one of them wanted to add another detail.
There was no doubt that they were more open about sharing information, the problem was that the information that they wanted to share really wasn’t that relevant.
It was information that they might find interesting, but it wasn’t interesting for those that didn’t live in that ti period.
As such, I just had to wait to see if they would give any information that would be considered new.
But in the end, it seed that this was all in vain.
So with a sigh, I asked, "I’ve heard all of this before. Is there anything new that you can tell ?"
The two fla elental ancestors looked at each other as if they were confused by what I said before they asked, "What do you want to know? You just asked about the war between the gods, so we told you about what happened back then."
My lips couldn’t help twitching in response to this, but I cald myself down and said, "Do you know anything about the gods?"
The two of them didn’t say anything at first, but then they said, "Of course we know about the gods. We’ve t all kinds of gods when we fought with them in the past."
My eyes lit up at this before I said, "Can you tell about them?"
The two fla elental ancestors seed to take a mont to think about this before they started telling all kinds of things about the gods.
It was just that none of this was what I wanted to know.
"There was this one god I rembered that used to hide snacks from the other gods. Didn’t we catch them in the middle of hiding her snacks?"
"Right, she was hiding it from that one god in particular that always chased after her. But then again, he was the one that always gave her snacks, wasn’t he?"
"The two of them really were interesting with the way that they went back and forth."
The fla elental ancestors were certainly more open than the rock elental ancestor, but that didn’t an that it was a good thing. After all, it ant that they were very easy to distract and would go on all kinds of tangents.
At the sa ti, they would talk about all kinds of things that they considered interesting without thinking about others.
The rock elental ancestor was much more closed, but they were also much more stable compared to the two of them. They knew how to choose the right things to say and not blabber on like this.
In the end, I finally couldn’t take it anymore as I said, "Can you tell sothing about the gods and what kind of things they did in the war?"
This ti, it seed like the mood changed.
The mont that I asked this question, it was as if there was sothing that dampened the mood of the fla elental ancestors.
I couldn’t help feeling off seeing the serious way that the two of them looked at .
This completely changed the way that I looked at these two ancestors.
At the sa ti, the mood seed to completely change with how they changed.
"This isn’t sothing that we can tell you."
The definitive way that they said this was as if they would have no more discussion on this matter.
It was sothing that caught off guard, but it didn’t seem like I was going to be able to ask anything else.
After all, they could just as easily disappear if I were to push this matter.
I just couldn’t understand why they acted this way all of a sudden.
