But I wasn’t sent flying when hit with this wind.
Instead, it was as if there was so kind of magic force that kept attached to the saddle.
It was as if no matter how much montum hit , this magic force would keep strapped into the saddle.
I naturally had no idea what kind of magic force this was, but it was strong enough to resist all of this.
"Stop..." I thought in a weak tone.
When Lupus received this order, she suddenly ca to a stop.
The inertia of the speed almost threw off the saddle, but once again the sa magic force kept strapped into the saddle.
It seed that it didn’t matter which direction I was thrown in, as long as I was sitting in the saddle, this magic force would keep strapped in. It was like so kind of seat belt that made sure that I didn’t go flying.
But different from how a seatbelt pulled, this thing just anchored there without actually harming my body. So even if I was thrown full speed and pulled back by the magic force, there wouldn’t be any whiplash from being pulled like this.
It really was hard to describe just what kind of magic force this was. The only thing that I could say was that it didn’t seem like there was anything strong enough to break it.
The problem was that this thing only solved a single problem.
After all, the only thing that this magic force was stabilizing was my body. It wasn’t as if it was boosting the other parts of my body to keep up with all of this.
So I just wasn’t able to see everything that was happening around . Everything that was there was like so kind of blur.
I was sure that Lupus was excited about being able to use her power, the problem was that my specs weren’t good enough to keep up with her.
"Go slower this ti."
As soon as I had this thought, I could feel the disappointnt that ca from her. It was clear that she wanted to run faster, as if she wanted to show off her lower.
But it just wasn’t effective if we kept going at full speed.
Even if people could adapt, this wasn’t sothing that could be adapted to unless one did it slowly.
So she cut the speed in half and then in half again.
It was only when she moved at quarter speed that I was finally able to keep up. Though it was also a bit slow from my perspective as well.
So we started moving at different speeds as if we were fine tuning just how much my body could handle.
It would have seed strange from the perspective of an outsider since the only thing that they would have seen is us running back and forth.
It really seed like the behaviour of a madman.
Only with this adjustnt period, I was slowly able to adjust to the speed that Lupus was putting out.
With this speed, all kinds of different ideas ca to mind.
One of the biggest weaknesses that I had when it ca to my fighting ability was the fact that I lacked mobility. I could make up for this a bit with Joan, but she only had superiority in the sky.
When it ca to land fights, there was nothing that beat a mount that could run on four legs.
Not to ntion that Lupus’ max speed far surpassed that of Joan. She had been a god’s ssenger for a long ti and had accumulated a lot of power.
With this speed and all the things at my disposal, I really could beco a relentless storm of attacks.
But in the end, I couldn’t reach Lupus’ full speed.
It was impossible for to keep up with her with my human senses.
Though I did what I could to keep up with her until she showed a sign of satisfaction.
I couldn’t make her completely satisfied when it ca to working with , but I could at least reach a speed that she could run freely.
I do have to admit that I had to push myself to reach this speed. If I didn’t push myself, it really would have been hard to adjust to this speed.
It was even faster than the high speed trains in my past life and it wasn’t as if I was sitting inside of the train. It was equal to sitting on the back of the train with everything hitting you at once.
As for her full speed, it was the sa as sitting on the back of a jet plane...
It took a while to adjust at first, but once I did it didn’t feel that hard to move.
Once we reached the speed that we wanted, it was ti to test out the attacks that I could release.
From the back of Lupus, I released different attacks with my different relics. It wasn’t just about releasing these attacks, but seeing how they would move after they were shot out.
After all, the environnt was completely different and it wasn’t as if it would act the sa way.
In fact, it took several tries before I was able to make them land where I wanted them to land.
But once they started landing there, it was easy to replicate the conditions since it was the sa speed.
The only problem was if I had to adjust to a different speed from Lupus.
It seed like there was still a long way to go before we could fight the way that we wanted to.
At the very least, I could sense the amazent from Lupus’ mind. That showed that I was learning faster than whoever her last rider was.
However, I was still curious who her last rider was and why they had created this saddle for her in the first place.
