"They were able to escape in the end. It seems like this will continue on for a bit." I muttered to myself as I watched everything happen.
I hadn’t planned on interfering since I thought that they would be able to handle it on their own, but I really had no choice in the end.
After all, I hadn’t expected the Heart of the Destruction to act.
But that did confirm one thing.
"So this thing really is a splinter."
If it was the true God of Destruction, then it wouldn’t have acted this way.
After all, the God of Destruction would understand that doing such a thing wasn’t actually helping it.
It also explained why the forces of Destruction had acted the way that they had.
It wasn’t because they couldn’t attack, it was because they were restricted by the nature of Destruction. If they had caused wanton devastation, then it would have been them that suffered when the world was thrown into chaos.
A world could only exist if there was this balance between the two forces.
If either side were to beco too strong, then it would throw off the delicate balance of the world and that world would start to collapse onto itself.
It was why the God of Destruction controlling the forces of Destruction had always been deliberate with sending out its forces. It had always made sure to fill this world with destruction energy at a pace that wouldn’t upset the balance.
When it made big moves, it also made sure to restrict the scope of its actions.
After all, the forces of Destruction could have easily flooded the continent with destruction energy with how much they had demonstrated. The fact that they didn’t do this even now showed how careful they had been.
It didn’t make any sense before, but I understood everything from observing this world.
This was the one thing that this splinter didn’t understand, which was why it was attacking randomly through the Black Tide.
"So this splinter isn’t connected to the God of Destruction, it seems to have gained its own thoughts. Does that an that the God of Destruction is an amalgamation to begin with and anything that breaks off will regain separate thought?"
The more that I observed the splinter, the more curious I was about what the God of Destruction was exactly.
There were many guesses that ca to mind, but it wasn’t as if just observing this splinter confird anything.
In fact, if it wasn’t for the fact that I had been guiding the people of this world to fight back against the Black Tide, it really would have beco much worse. If they hadn’t been balancing things out, this world would have collapsed a long ti ago.
But even so, there was a part of that couldn’t help wondering what would have happened if a world were to collapse because of the balance breaking.
Would it all just disappear?
Would it have been as if nothing had happened?
Then again, what would happen to the gods that could create worlds?
It really felt like there would be sothing different that would happen if the world collapsed because of this imbalance. It wasn’t as if everything would just disappear all of a sudden.
However, I held myself back in the end.
It wasn’t as if I could just let this world collapse to see this, there was another reason why I had been brought to observe this world.
"For now, it seems like the Heart of Destruction has gone back into slumber. It seems like it drained quite a bit of energy to show itself just now, but that isn’t strange since it isn’t as if this thing had developed for long."
I knew this because I had been watching over this world for the longest ti.
I had watched the Black Tide develop from deep inside the ground until it reached the point that it was currently at.
From this, I had watched as that splinter developed the consciousness that it currently had.
It had moved as a single mass at first, but more and more things appeared out of that mass until it had beco this Heart of Destruction.
"The destruction energy doesn’t get rid of matter, it just breaks it down into its components. That ans that the parts of that matter still exist inside of the destruction energy. Does that an that this is what condensed together to form this Heart of Destruction?"
That was another theory that I had watching the destruction energy develop.
But regardless of what happened, the most important thing now was seeing how the heroes would develop from this.
After all, there were so things that had changed with them because of their exposure to the divine energy that I released.
I could see that the ones that used the relics were pri examples of this.
"It seems like they had a positive reaction to the divine energy. But then again, they were already used to using divine energy since they were able to use the relics in the first place."
Though that was the case, I knew that it was also different since there were changes that weren’t normal that were happening with them.
"Perhaps this world might really see its first god...or at least sothing that’s like a demigod."
But if that were the case, I couldn’t help wondering where they would even go.
At the sa ti, there was a part of that was worried that they might jump out of this world and co to find . If they had enough divine energy, that was certainly sothing that was possible.
As well, I had to wonder what would happen if they were to jump out of that world and how they would react to .
If they knew that their god was just a human that could control divine energy...
"For now, let’s speed it up and see what happens. Regardless of what happens, I’m sure there will be a contingency since this shouldn’t be their first ti doing sothing like this."
