Mada Rose wasn't fazed at all when she heard this, she just revealed a smile as she looked right into my eyes.
But Cecilia on the side wasn't as calm as Mada Rose.
She could feel the slight tension that arose because of this and she gripped her sword a bit tighter.
With the way that she was moving slightly towards Mada Rose and the way that she was looking at , it was clear that she would support Mada Rose in this matter.
But I didn't mind this and continued looking at Mada Rose.
Mada Rose was silent for a bit before suddenly saying, "You're smarter than you seem."
I couldn't help being taken aback when I heard this. After a mont's pause, I asked, "What do you an?"
Mada Rose looked right into my eyes and said, "You seem like you don't know a thing, but I know that you're usually waiting for an opportunity to make your move. You're much more intelligent than you make yourself appear and you know how to be patient. Normally, that kind of person would be very dangerous…"
She let her voice drift off when she said this.
I felt another chill run down my spine when I heard this.
I never thought that she would be this direct with her answer, I had thought that it would at least be another reason. But it seed like she was much more observant than I thought…
After she said this, Cecilia had narrowed her eyes to look at , as if she was appraising for the first ti.
Cecilia had never thought much about , she had made it clear. However, when she heard what Mada Rose said, she couldn't help feeling that she had completely underestimated .
So she moved closer to Mada Rose and even slightly pointed the sword in my direction.
I wanted to say sothing, but before I could, Mada Rose raised her hand to stop .
She looked at still and said, "I don't mind that you're like this…because you are mine, right?"
The slight pause and the upward inflection of the latter part of words, it was clear that she was…threatening . But at the sa ti, it was almost as if there was a pleading tone to to make things clear.
I looked at the way that she looked at and I couldn't help feeling strange.
In the end, I gave a nod in response without saying anything.
When Mada Rose saw this, she revealed a happy smile. At the sa ti, she stood up and patted my head. It was almost like I was being treated as so kind of dog, but I didn't seem to mind it that much.
Cecilia still had a distrusting look on her face, but she could see the look on Mada Rose's face. She knew that if she did anything, she would be making things worse.
She put away her sword, but there was a clear unwilling look on her face.
After this had been settled, Mada Rose continued by saying, "I trust that you'll be able to make the best judgent for yourself once you get in there. I don't think that I need to tell you what kind of things to be looking for."
I hesitated for a second before slowly giving a nod.
Since she had already exposed , there was no reason to pretend any longer.
Since she valued for my intelligence, then it was better to fully display this intelligence so she wouldn't abandon .
But there was still one issue that was biting the back of my head.
I couldn't help looking at her with an unsteady gaze before suddenly asking, "Why do you trust like this?"
Mada Rose was surprised that I would suddenly ask this, but then she said with a smile, "I like to think that I have a good judgent of character and I feel that you're soone that I can trust. That is unless you are saying that you aren't soone that I should trust?"
I quickly shook my head in response to this.
Mada Rose couldn't help chuckling when she saw this before saying with the sa smile, "I know that you aren't, you don't need to worry that much. It's not as if this little thing would change what I think of you."
I felt a bit touched when I heard this, but then I rembered what she wanted to do.
She was clearly not soone that I should let myself relax around.
Until we took care of the Lord Baron, until I found a way to escape this monster wave, until I found a way to stop being her sex slave, I couldn't let my guard down.
She stood up after trying to fix my cloak to no avail and said, "You'll just have to go like this. It might look a bit strange, but with the cloak and the mask, people shouldn't question you."
I nodded in agreent to this.
Even if this cloak was a bit too big for , that should be expected.
This was a secret society that this cloak was associated with, this wasn't a place where they customized cloaks for each of their mbers. So the one that she received was most likely the standard issued cloak and no one would think too much of it if it was too big for my body.
The only problem might be if they questioned why soone as short as was in their eting.
But I could take care of that when that ca.
I'm sure that it wouldn't be hard to co up with so kind of excuse to explain this.
This was a society where the identities of most of the mbers were hidden.
After that was settled, Mada Rose suddenly ca forward to take in a hug. She brought my head up against her chest, almost smothering as she said in a soft voice, "Co back safely to , alright?"
I was caught off guard by this, but I said in a muffled voice, "I will."
When she heard this, she hugged even tighter.
On the side, Cecilia just watched all of this with a complicated look on her face.
