The things that Ariel bought in the end were all useless to and anyone else in my group.

Ariel just said with a faint smile, "Yes, but is it really normal to spend that much unless you want sothing in return?"

I narrowed my eyes to look at her, but seeing that she didn't have any hostility, I said with a shrug and a sigh, "It's good that you know this. It'll make things much easier in the future."

Ariel suddenly gave a chuckle before saying, "I'll keep that in mind."

Then all of a sudden, that smile disappeared from her face as she said, "I don't know what kind of favour you will be asking, but there are a few things that I have to tell you first."

I was once again surprised to see this side of her, but since she was being this serious...

Then in a more serious voice, she said, "Then I'm looking forward to working with you."

I gave a simple nod as I looked at her with a strange look.

There was only one thing in my mind.

"So she wasn't just an empty vase."
