After the gates opened, there were people that were standing there waiting for us.

I couldn't help slightly knitting my brows when I heard this.

The way that all of this happened really made it seem like it was so kind of trap, but I still followed them.
After all, the wyverns were circling around in the sky above the castle and I held the Staff of Earth in my hand.

The second prince even pointed out a few things that were in the castle as if he was introducing them to . This made it seem even more like we were casually having a walk in the castle instead of what we were actually here to do...

These were clearly royal guards with the way that they were dressed in armour and had their weapons drawn.
However, the mont that they saw the second prince, they imdiately cleared the way for him. At the sa ti, they put away their weapons as if they were showing their respect to him.
It seed that everyone who was working in the castle was filled with respect for the second prince.
Though that wasn't strange with the reputation that the second prince had.
Or at least that was the reputation that he had in the ga.

The second prince just casually nodded at those royal guards before heading into the throne room.
The royal guards didn't even try stopping us even though it was clear that we were a completely different group. It seed that they had this much trust in the second prince that they didn't question anything that he did.
Once we entered the throne room, that was when our group was really surprised.

like their faces were completely swollen from having been hit by sothing.
With how swollen it was, it seed that they had received quite the beating before they were tied up.
But it didn't seem like the nobles put up much of a resistance as none of the royal guards had a single bruise.
That wasn't the most shocking thing as in front of the throne was a royal caterpillar.
No, it was the king who still had the crown on his head that had also been tied up like the rest
of the nobles. His face was also swollen showing that he had received a beating as well.
Once the second prince ca in, he imdiately beca the center of attention as everyone turned to look at him.
They just completely ignored us who ca in with him.
The tied up king narrowed his eyes to look at the second prince before saying, "So you've finally made your move."
