Chapter 459: Chapter 464: Divine Island of the Wind Clan

The headless knight was tall and majestic, his iron armor flowing with a cold light, his presence overwhelming, like a towering Great Mountain pressing down!

He resembled a deity who had lost his head. His might oppressed the heavens and earth; even the sky trembled because of him, and the endless black mountains rumbled and shook.

Holding a black War Spear, he galloped across the sky. His presence was as profound as an abyss, as vast as the sea. His powerful battle spirit soared into the heavens, like an undying Ancient War God charging from ancient times!

He stirred the terrifying Qi Mechanism of the Undying Mountain Range. Boundless black mist surged, the entire world trembled under his horse’s hooves, and all beings wailed under the spear’s edge.

BOOM…

The Death Knight galloped across the sky. The void fractured, and endless black fissures spread in all directions, creating a terrifying scene within the Undying Mountain Range.

The big black dog was scared out of its wits; such a headless knight was terrifying beyond measure. If he got close, a sweep of his spear would result in the annihilation of body and soul for everyone.

Its long tongue hung out, anxious and frantic. Its large paws continuously adjusted the Array Patterns, trying arduously to alter the teleportation location.

“Go, doggy, go!” The pitiful little girl was also very nervous, hiding in Ye Fan’s arms, timidly watching the headless knight who was almost upon them.

The big black dog frantically manipulated the Dao Glyphs. Its large paws finally slapped down forcefully, an endless brilliance surged up, and with a flash, they disappeared from their original location.

They finally succeeded in traversing the void at the last moment. Just as they vanished, the headless knight arrived. The spear’s edge pierced through the heavens and collapsed space, stabbing into their afterimages.

An inparably terrifying pressure, like a tsunami, surged, instantly turning the entire Primitive Forest into dust. Nothing remained.

However, the Array Patterns left by the Void Emperor were not destroyed. They remained intact, forming a world of their own, filled with the Qi Mechanism of the Great Dao.

They found themselves an unknown distance away. Ye Fan, Li Heishui, and the others emerged, looking around in puzzlement at the surrounding scenery.

All around were golden sand grains. The sun blazed hot, and the dryness and heat almost ignited their bodies. Everything was silent; not a sound could be heard.

This was a golden desert, vast and boundless. All the sand grains were extremely hot. Under the scorching sun, they released a sweltering heat that could almost roast people alive.

There wasn’t the slightest breeze. The heatwaves were like a furnace, scorching them unbearably. The golden desert held no life, as if flames were burning within it.

“Doggy, you didn’t really send us to the Western Desert, did you?” the pitiful little girl asked, her voice soft.

Ye Fan and Li Heishui were utterly dumbfounded. The endless desert flowed with golden light under the scorching sun, like a burning furnace. The two screamed in dismay.

“Damn dog, I’ll skin you!”

“This is absurd! Crossing from the Eastern Wastelands, over the Central States, and straight to the Western Desert! Even with your eyes closed, you’d be more accurate! How did you manage this teleportation?”

The two rushed forward, pinning the big black dog down and starting to fight with it. This damn dog was so infuriating; beating it severely was the only way to quell their anger.

“It was a little… careless, just a little careless.” Even the big black dog was a bit dumbfounded.

“Could you be any further off? Going from the easternmost end of this world to the westernmost end in one go! If you were a bit more careless, would you have sent us to the sun?!”

“Is this Emperor that absurd?” the big black dog muttered.

“And this isn’t absurd? You really are something else!”

“Even if the pitiful little girl activated the Dao Glyphs, it wouldn’t be this unreliable!”

“Actually, the Western Desert isn’t too bad. The Great Thunderchant Temple on Sumeru Mountain is a Divine Land. Endless cultivators go on pilgrimage there every year. We could take a look,” the big black dog said.

Ye Fan and Li Heishui wanted to kill it. This damn dog was still being stubborn, talking back so righteously. It really deserved a beating.

“You sent Pang Bo to the Central States, Tu Fei to the Northern Plains, and us to the Western Desert! Damn it… I’ve never seen such an unreliable dog!”

“Pang Bo is alright; he went to a land of outstanding people and spirits, so he might have a great opportunity. But Tu Fei loves excitement; how can he bear it? Walking in the Northern Plains for decades without seeing a single person, facing the wilderness every day—won’t that drive him mad?”

The two took turns chastising the Black Emperor, while the pitiful little girl was very well-behaved, playing with the sand beside them, not at all frustrated or worried.

“The four Supreme Spiritual Medicines, each tens of thousands of years old, are with Big Mouth Tu. It’s like he has four extra lives; he definitely won’t die.” The big black dog still spoke stubbornly, while also feeling resentful, regretting not splitting the Supreme Spiritual Medicines first.

“This damn dog is too much!”

“Damn it, I’m so angry! Beat it!”

“WOOF!”

A battle between men and dog erupted, causing quite a fuss in the golden desert.

The dog’s barks persisted for a long time before gradually calming down. Eventually, they flew out of the desert, seeking a green continent and searching for a prosperous city.

“Huh, something’s not right.” They had just flown a few hundred li when they saw lush mountain peaks. They quickly exited the desert, which was pletely different from what they had imagined.

“Who are you, and how do you casually enter our Wind Clan’s martial training ground?” someone ahead shouted.

Ye Fan and the others looked at each other, puzzled and clueless for a moment.

“What did you say? Wind Clan? Which Wind Clan? Is it the family of that little miss Fenghuang?” the big black dog asked.

“How dare you speak so disrespectfully of our clan’s princess!” Those few people’s expressions turned sour.

The big black dog immediately yelped, then fiercely pounced on Ye Fan and Li Heishui, saying, “You brats, did you hear that? This is the Central Eastern Desolate, not the Western Desert! And you dared treat me like that just now!”

They quickly figured out the situation: they hadn’t left the Eastern Wastelands. This desert, over a thousand li long, was formed by years of battles among the Wind Clan’s experts.

“Are you the Sacred Body Ye Fan, and is that the wicked dog?!” Someone recognized them, their expressions changing.

“Damn it, watch your language! You call him Sacred Body, so you should at least call me Holy Spirit!” The big black dog bared its white teeth, startling those few people.

The members of the Wind Clan looked at each other but ultimately said nothing more. The Doomsday Holy Body had dared to cut down even the Saint Lady of a supreme Great Sect from the Central States, so they naturally didn’t want to invite trouble.

This place was only a few hundred li from the Wind Clan; it could be said they had reached the core territory of this Holy Clan. While flying past, they unexpectedly saw many people rushing over.

“What’s going on? Why is everyone gathering at the Wind Clan?” Li Heishui asked in confusion.

Ye Fan stopped a passerby to inquire and unexpectedly learned that the Wind Clan’s Peacock King’s one thousand five hundred and fifth birthday was approaching, and many people were ing to offer congratulations.

“Brother Ye, Brother Li, it’s indeed a small world where paths cross!” A loud laugh echoed from the distant sky.

Prince Xia Yiming of Great Xia and the young nun in white, Xia Yilin, flew over. Beside them were several elders, clearly super experts.

“Brother Xia, why have you e?” Ye Fan asked with a smile.

“The Wind Clan’s Peacock King’s birthday is near, so we’ve e to offer congratulations,” Xia Yiming replied with a smile.

Their clan uncle had e personally, and the two followed, wishing to meet some young talents from this generation, hence their arrival in the Central Territory.

“Let’s go together,” Prince Xia invited with a smile.

Ye Fan pondered slightly, then nodded in agreement. The Wind Clan’s Peacock King had shown him kindness. Now that he was here and invited by Prince Xia, it would reflect poorly on him if word got out that he refused.

The Wind Clan, the oldest family in the Eastern Wastelands, was a blend of power and mystery. They learned from the heavens and earth, grasping the profundities of the supreme Dao, making them an extremely formidable family.

The fact that the unrivaled Divine King had chosen them, hoping for Ye Fan to marry into their clan, spoke volumes. In the lands of the Eastern Wastelands, no one wished to provoke them; everyone hoped to be on good terms with them.

The clan had endured various eras of dark turmoil yet remained thriving, being a colossal superpower that looked down upon the world, possessing a profound heritage few could match.

From a distance, the sight of the Wind Clan’s domain was awe-inspiring.

Eight hundred floating islands were scattered like shining bright pearls, each distinctive, resembling heavenly Pure Lands, bringing peace to the Heart Spirit.

“The Wind Clan is truly astonishing! Legends speak of Eight Hundred Divine Islands, and it’s true!” Li Heishui exclaimed in admiration.

The eight hundred islands hung motionless in the sky, immortal mist swirling around them. They were like magnificent Divine Lands, with Immortal Flowers blooming and waterfalls cascading, all wreathed in five-colored light—transcendent and ethereal.

Numerous palaces and pavilions rested upon them, adorned with carved beams and painted rafters, coiling dragons and soaring phoenixes. Immortal clouds drifted by, like a Divine Kingdom beyond the mortal world. Many Immortal Cranes, Colorful Simurghs, and other spiritual Lightning Birds danced between the islands.

In the deepest part, endless Great Mountains towered into the high heavens, majestic and imposing, their grandeur awesome to behold.

Among the Great Mountains lay a magnificent ancient city that never fell, invisible to outsiders. Each of the most powerful Sacred Lands possessed one such city, rumored to be ancient divine cities left behind by gods.

Many distinguished members of the Wind Clan stood outside the Divine Islands, weling everyone with smiles and repeatedly clasping their hands in gratitude.

“Untransformed dogs are not allowed inside.” Someone stopped Ye Fan and his panions, refusing to let the big black dog enter under any circumstances.

“In the past, even when your Clan Master invited me, I wouldn’t e!” the big black dog fumed.

“These are the rules. No beast pets allowed inside.” The Wind Clan members looked displeased.

“Who are you calling a beast pet? The human pets I’ve captured have all gone in, so why can’t I?!” it clamored angrily, pointing a large paw at some disciples from the Sacred Lands.

Among them were indeed people who had been captured by the big black dog. At this moment, they wished they could skin it alive and fled into the Eight Hundred Divine Islands like rats, not wanting to cause further embarrassment.

“Let them enter.” An elder from the Wind Clan approached. Ye Fan recognized him, having seen him before in the Northern Divine City, and offered a salute.

Different people were led to different islands. Ye Fan and his group were taken to a giant Divine Island, where most of the young disciples from the Sacred Lands were gathered.

Their arrival immediately drew much attention. Several Saint Heirs and Saint Ladies came over, each with a peculiar expression, astonished that Ye Fan was still alive.

Because the six-month deadline was almost up, yet he hadn’t died.

“Cough…” Ye Fan coughed, a trace of blood appearing, which he casually wiped away with a white handkerchief.

Many people felt an indescribable mix of emotions. They had seen him coughing blood frequently in the Southern Region, yet he had been able to battle Hua Yunfei, the inheritor of the Ruthless Emperor, and decisively slay the Saint Lady of a supreme Great Sect from the Central States.

Now he was still coughing blood, leading many to curse inwardly that he deserved to be struck by lightning. He was always misleading people, yet each time he ended up slaughtering a group, leaving everyone speechless.

“Brother Ye, is your health alright?” asked the Flickering Light Saint Heir. His body was enveloped in a Divine Ring, making it difficult for anyone to harbor ill will towards him, as Holy Light covered him like a son of a god walking the mortal realm.

“I’ll probably live for another half a month,” Ye Fan replied.

“Brother Ye, you jest. You will surely overe this trial of life and death,” the Flickering Light Saint Heir said with a smile.

“Since you, short-lived ghost, don’t have many days left, why not hurry up and fight me!” The Golden-winged Little Peng King strode forward. He was tall and imposing, his golden eyes sharp and intimidating. Like a Demon God descended, his presence was incredibly overwhelming.

“As if I’m afraid of you! If you want to fight, then let’s fight! I don’t mind eliminating you!” Ye Fan turned sharply to face this demonic young man from the demon clan. The other party had provoked him several times; this battle was unavoidable.

The other Saint Heirs and Saint Ladies were all stirred. These two were top-tier experts of the current younger generation. If they were to fight, it would undoubtedly be a battle of dragons and tigers, a world-shaking confrontation that everyone eagerly anticipated.

“Little bird, you sure have a tenacious life!” the Black Emperor mumbled.

“HUMPH!” The Golden-winged Little Peng King snorted coldly, his golden eyes shooting out two cold glints of light.

He, Fenghuang, and the others had not been forced into the Undying Mountain. They had escaped by a hair’s breadth. Their escape had been much smoother than Ye Fan’s group.

“Brother Peng, are you going to fight someone?” Fenghuang drifted over gracefully. Though she wore a five-colored mask, her phoenix-like aura was captivating, and her immortal beauty was unparalleled. She chuckled lightly, “Today is not suitable for hostilities. The fight can be postponed, allowing us all to witness a peak confrontation.”

Everyone showed peculiar expressions. They were well aware of her relationship with Ye Fan. Seeing her attitude, they all felt that a good show was bound to unfold soon.
