“Daddy, why do you look even worse? Is the Dragon Strength not working?” Aurora asked, her face full of concern.

Leon was at a loss for words.

*Sweetie, it’s not that the Dragon Strength isn’t working—it might be working *too* well, and your dad might not be able to handle it...*

No.

It wasn’t just that *he* couldn’t handle it.

Rosvisser probably wouldn’t be able to either.

Thinking this, Leon glanced at Rosvisser.

She was still watching with amusent, apparently forgetting the last ti they dealt with the chaos Dragon Strength caused. That wasn’t exactly a pleasant experience for her, either.

Rosvisser, too, found herself caught between laughter and tears.

The good news: their youngest daughter was a born genius, mastering the art of concocting Dragon Strength by just four months old—surpassing 99.9% of adults. Who wouldn’t marvel at such a half-human, half-dragon prodigy?

The bad news: her father had beco the unwitting test subject for this genius, the so-called “Dragon Strength body.” Leon, a man whose life was filled with both glory and absurdity, now found at least two-thirds of his life's drama coming from the little girls he cherished so much.

Leon thought *Moon’s* sneaking treats from the offering table had been the peak of chaos, but now *Aurora* had upped the ante, leaving her father completely defeated.

“It’s fine,” Rosvisser said quickly, trying to smooth things over. “Dragon Strength is a wonderful supplent for dragons, but the effects just haven’t kicked in yet.”

She turned to the three little ones and reassured them, “Once the effects set in, Daddy will sweat it out tonight, and by tomorrow morning, he’ll be back to his energetic self. So, don’t worry.”

“Really, Mommy?” Noa asked, doubtful.

She couldn’t shake the feeling that her father’s expression—one that seed to say *‘don’t save , I’m done for’*—wasn’t sothing that could be fixed by simply sweating it out.

Rosvisser sighed internally.

She really wasn’t great at lying to her daughters.

Was she supposed to explain that their father was about to lose it, and things were about to get, well, very unsuitable for children? Of course not.

Rosvisser steeled herself and said, “Of course it’s true. I promise, once the supplent kicks in, Daddy will be fine after a good night’s sleep.”

With that assurance, the girls seed to relax a little.

“Okay, Daddy, make sure you get plenty of rest tonight!” Moon said as she stood beside the bed, gently shaking Leon’s wrist.

*Rest? Sweetheart, I doubt Daddy will be resting at all tonight.*

“Yeah... Daddy knows,” Leon replied weakly.

“Alright, it’s getting late. You girls should head to bed now, too. Tomorrow, you can play with a fully recovered Daddy, right?” Rosvisser said, trying to quickly get the little dragons out of the room.

Dragon Strength had quite the potent effect, and once it kicked in, things could get pretty intense.

“Okay! Goodnight, Mommy! Goodnight, Daddy! Get so good rest!” they chorused.

“Goodnight...” Leon mumbled.

The three little ones left the room one after the other, and Rosvisser escorted them to the door before locking it behind them.

By the ti she returned to the bedroom, Leon was already sitting up in bed, leaning against the headboard.

His face was noticeably redder than before, but his eyes were becoming clearer.

No, not clearer.

More... *excited*.

Seeing this, Rosvisser’s knees went weak, and even her tail instinctively curled slightly.

The first ti he’d taken Dragon Strength, on that wild, stormy night, was a mory she’d never forget.

Back then, she had pushed Leon too far with her teasing, leading him to impulsively activate the Dragon Strength. What followed was pure madness.

But this ti, he was already sick with a cold—surely that would dampen the effects of the supplent, right?

Hesitant, Rosvisser slowly approached the bed and extended her tail toward Leon.

“Here, want to play with it?”

She rembered how, the last ti he went berserk, he’d clung to her tail, calling her his wife the whole ti.

This ti, she decided to take the initiative, hoping to soothe him like a child before things escalated.

Leon rolled his eyes, about to snap back at her for treating him like a child.

But strangely, a voice whispered in his mind:

“Grab it, grab it, grab it.”

Leon frowned, tapping his head in an attempt to dispel the strange urge.

But it didn’t work.

“Grab it.”

“Grab it.”

“Grab it.”

Annoyed, Leon clicked his tongue, and before he realized it, his hand had already grabbed the tip of Rosvisser’s tail.

It was cold, soft, and smooth—an incredibly pleasant sensation.

Startled, Leon quickly tried to explain, “I-I didn’t an to! My body just moved on its own...”

Still being stubborn.

Rosvisser crossed her arms, watching him with amusent. “You’re gripping my tail and saying you didn’t an to? Not very convincing.”

At her words, Leon tried to let go.

But his hand seed glued to her tail, refusing to release. The cool, silky feel was just too comforting for his feverish state.

Simply holding it wasn’t enough anymore.

Staring at the long, silver tail in his hand, Leon swallowed.

Then, under Rosvisser’s slightly shocked gaze, he gently pressed the tail against his burning forehead, letting out a satisfied sigh.

*The Silver Dragon brand ice pack—you’ve got to try it.*

Rosvisser smirked, her tone slightly disdainful. “Should I be thankful you’re not trying to put it in your mouth?”

“Wife...”

*Oh no.*

The term “wife” was always a sign of Leon going into full-on crazy mode.

“Your tail is so cool and smooth. It feels so good.”

“Do you like it?”

“I love it.”

“Well, if you love it, just keep holding it and don’t do anything else, okay~?”

“Yes, ma’am!”

Soothing a sick child was sothing any mother of three could easily manage.

Letting Leon play with her tail was definitely better than whatever *else* he might want to do.

After all, even though he was sick, he still had the enhancent from the Nine Infernal Gates. Rosvisser wasn’t about to test what Leon was capable of in that state.

She didn’t want to end up dealing with the infamous “42-degree flaming club.”

Rosvisser sat on the edge of the bed.

Leon continued to play with her tail, holding it close like a treasured toy.

After a while, the fool asked, “Wife, your tail is so fun. Why don’t I have one?”

Rosvisser snorted. “I offered to get you one before, but you didn’t want it. And now you want one? Too bad!”

Just because he wanted it didn’t an she’d give it to him.

He was too spoiled as it was.

But Leon, in his slightly crazed state, didn’t push the matter further. Instead, he suddenly fell silent.

Rosvisser didn’t find this odd.

After all, under the effects of Dragon Strength, Leon’s mind worked in unpredictable ways, like a frog hopped up on so powerful drug. She could never guess what leap of logic he’d make next.

“Wife.”

“What?”

“Love you~” ca the sweet words from her delirious husband.

“Mm. Love you too,” she replied with an utterly flat tone.

“Wife, look at .”

“Why?”

Rosvisser, arms still crossed, sat at the edge of the bed, staring straight ahead without turning toward Leon.

“Look at , look at , hurry!” Leon urged.

Sighing, Rosvisser slowly turned her head to face him.

Leon raised his arm above his head, forming a large heart shape with his hand, and gave her a big, goofy smile.

“Love you~ Wife~”

Normally, you couldn’t pay Leon to do sothing so childish or romantic.

Watching this ridiculous display, Rosvisser couldn’t help but laugh.

But she quickly composed herself, humming dismissively, “Tch, such a child.”

“You do it, too, Wife.”

“No.”

“Co on, do it!”

*Co on.*

At this point, he was already under the effects of Dragon Strength. Why not just go along with it?

Rosvisser closed her eyes, sighed, and reluctantly copied Leon’s pose, raising her arm to form a giant heart above her head.

“Love you~” she said sweetly.

“And what else?”

“What else?”

“You have to add a title after ‘love you.’”

His thought process was like an exaggerated version of Moon’s, yet still filled with Leon’s clueless stubbornness.

Clearly, their daughters had inherited so of their parents’ quirks.

So, what could she do?

Just play along.

Rosvisser sighed again, forming the heart and speaking in an overly sweet tone, “Love you~ Husband~”

After saying it, she instantly dropped the act, her voice cold, “Happy now?”

Leon nodded. “Happy.”

Rosvisser rolled her eyes and stood up. “Give back my tail for a mont—I need to use the bathroom.”

She expected Leon to let go of her tail.

But instead, he suddenly yanked her back onto the bed, pulling her close with his

grip on her tail.

“Hey, what are you—”

Before she could finish, the dragon markings on her chest began to glow faintly.

“Damn it... Is it really going to co to this?”

“Dragoness.”

Leon’s voice ca from beside her, radiating heat.

Rosvisser turned her head slowly to look at him.

He had already taken off his shirt, his chest glowing with the sa dragon markings as hers, crackling with blue sparks of electricity.

In that mont, the Silver Dragon Queen understood.

The 42-degree flaming club she feared wasn’t just fire tonight—it ca with a side of lightning as well.
