Rosvisser lay on the bed, one long leg lifted high into the air.

The warm sunlight stread through the thin curtains, casting a soft, golden glow on her smooth skin. She elegantly rotated her ankle, as though admiring the perfect contours of her leg.

Usually, Rosvisser wasn’t this vain.

But today’s “breakfast” had been quite enjoyable.

“So dirty.”

“So indecent.”

“And it’s all yours.”

Small, shimring droplets glistened under the sunlight.

This feeling was like a delicate, silken thread, tracing a sensual path down her leg, adding a layer of allure. Rosvisser gently swung her leg, savoring the pleasant sensation as it slowly trickled down, leaving a tingling trail of warmth behind.

She controlled every movent with almost artistic precision, ensuring that the process was elegant and clean, without letting a single drop fall onto the pristine white sheets.

Otherwise, cleaning up would be quite a hassle.

Leon closed his eyes, unable to watch. “Please, just wash it off already.”

“What’s the rush? I’m soone with a cleanliness obsession, and even I’m not in a hurry to wash it. So why are you?”

Rosvisser’s tone was calm and leisurely. “Or maybe you feel particularly ashad for dirtying my feet and legs like this, Leon?”

“…”

He had thought that after six months apart, the dragon queen would have toned down her playful antics a bit.

But to his surprise, not only had she not toned it down, she seed to have taken it up a notch.

It was like parents coming ho after a year of working away and seeing how much their child had grown.

The first thing they would say was always the classic, “You’ve grown so much!”

In reality, if the child had been with them the entire ti, the parents wouldn’t notice the gradual change in height.

In the sa way, if Leon had been around Rosvisser continuously, he wouldn’t have noticed how her playful tricks had evolved in his six-month absence.

Looks like he just found another reason to stay by her side.

The sticky “thread” on her leg gradually cooled, losing its initial sensation. With that, Rosvisser’s interest waned as well.

“Help wash it off.”

“Why don’t you just take a bath?”

“Whoever makes the ss cleans it up, right? You were the one who got it on .”

There was no point in trying to argue with a woman.

Especially a woman who had lived over 200 years.

Leon grimaced, got out of bed, and went to the bathroom to fetch a basin of warm water.

Rosvisser laid a blanket on the edge of the bed and sat on it, ensuring that nothing from her legs would accidentally touch the sheets.

Leon placed the water basin beneath the bed, and Rosvisser tentatively dipped her foot in.

The temperature was just right—not too hot, not too cold.

After living together for so long, Leon had learned how to adjust the water to her exact preferences.

“You put thought into this,” Rosvisser praised with a smile.

“Hmph, I just didn’t want you nagging .”

Leon gently pressed down on the top of Rosvisser’s foot, letting the water cascade over it.

“If the water were too hot, you’d say I did it on purpose. If it were too cold, you’d say I wasn’t being attentive. So, I figured I’d save myself the trouble and get it right.”

Rosvisser’s smile widened. Her gaze shifted from Leon’s face to the water basin as she spoke with a touch of pride and satisfaction.

“Stop pretending. You care about . You want to take care of .”

“Dragon queen, I swear, I’m about to throw this foot bath water in your face.”

“Wow, half an hour ago you were saying you loved everything about , and now you’re threatening to splash foot water in my face? See? You really can’t trust a man’s words when he’s in bed.”

Leon finished washing her foot and carefully cleaned off the remaining traces from her calf and inner thigh. “You don’t trust what I say in bed, and you shouldn’t trust what I say outside of it either. After all, what kind of prisoner would speak the whole truth to their queen every day?”

His fingers and palms, roughened from years of combat and practicing magic, left a distinct sensation as they glided over Rosvisser’s legs.

Rosvisser didn’t mind the roughness. In fact, she liked it—Leon’s touch always gave her a sense of security.

“Speaking of which, sothing just ca to mind.”

“What is it?”

“Before you entered the space rift… did you say sothing to ?”

Leon’s hand paused mid-wash, and he pursed his lips, trying to play dumb.

“No, I didn’t say anything.”

“No, you definitely said sothing,” Rosvisser insisted. “You turned around, called my na, and said sothing else. But the sound of the magic currents was too loud, and I couldn’t hear clearly. But I could see from your lips that you said sothing.”

Leon lowered his head, speeding up the washing process to hide his growing unease.

“You must have imagined it. People tend to see things when they’re nervous.”

While he had decided back in the future that he would be more open with Rosvisser once they reunited, saying those three words out loud—especially during a foot bath—felt a bit too forward.

Besides, there was no ceremony to it.

Even though Rosvisser usually acted like she didn’t care about anything (except for their “assignnts”), Leon knew she actually valued things like ceremony.

Take her birthday, for example. Initially, she just wanted to ss with Leon a bit. But when she saw the surprises he had carefully prepared for her, the joy and satisfaction in her eyes had been unmistakable.

So, those three words definitely needed to be said.

But at the right mont.

Seeing that Leon had no intention of speaking, Rosvisser snorted. “Fine, don’t say it. After all—”

Leon slowed down his washing, wondering if she was mad.

Were they about to enter another round of marital bickering? To his surprise—

“After all, I’ll get you to say it eventually.”

Rosvisser spoke with a pout, “I’ll make you admit that you care about , that you can’t stand being away from , that you feel like dragon markings are crawling on your skin when you don’t see for a day. Cosmod, just you wait.”

Oh.

Your Majesty, that’s quite the direct yet roundabout statent.

A lot of this is probably what you’d like to say to , isn’t it?

Leon could guess the hidden aning behind her words.

It was just like that night on the balcony when she got him to drink, then gently coaxed him into saying he liked her.

These were clearly her own feelings, but she insisted that the other person say them first.

Not because of anything other than her strange sense of competition.

Understanding this, Leon chuckled softly, grabbed a towel, and slowly dried off her leg and foot.

“Well, I’ll be waiting, then. Let’s see whether you get to say it first or… if you end up giving in and admitting it yourself—hey! What are you doing?”

Before he had finished drying her foot, Rosvisser pressed it firmly against his chest.

From his half-crouched position, Leon’s gaze traveled up her pale, smooth leg, all the way to the edge of the bed—a sight that was both provocative and intimate.

“I’m certain you’ll be the one who can’t hold out, Leon.”

If Leon was going to challenge her, how could she not push back? After all, teasing each other was what they did best as a couple.

Leon sighed with a smile, shaking his head as he moved her foot away from his chest. He stood up with the basin in hand.

He didn’t want to continue this conversation—it would go on forever if he did.

Once he stood, Leon glanced down at the water in the basin and asked, “Your Majesty, I have a rather strange request.”

Rosvisser’s face darkened instantly. “You are *not* drinking my foot bath water.”

Leon grinned. “Get dressed. Let’s go out for a walk later, shall we?”
